Richest Mogul 949
When Skr had just gotten home, the helpers from Pearlhall Residence had just left.
Gloria said Skr had to work during the day and needed to care for Joe at night. She wouldn’t let
Skr cook. She made the helpers prepare food so they could start eating when they got home.
She went into the kitchen to take the dishes out. Then, she got herself some pasta. After arranging
the dishes on the dining table, Joe walked over and took a seat.
Skr sat down too. He said, “I won’t divorce you for Vera. Don’t listen to Molly. She’s trying to drive
a wedge between us.”
Skr was confused by his rtionship with Vera. His attitude had been so firm, and he had
sounded so genuine.
Before she went to bed, Minerva messaged Skr and asked when she would be free.
Today was Wednesday. She would be busy during the weekdays.
“I’m free on Saturday.”
“Alright, I’ll confirm the time and location of our meeting on Friday with you.”
“Okay, see you on Saturday.”
On Saturday, Skr headed over to the restaurant Minerva had booked.
It was a restaurant specializing in its homemade dishes. N?velDrama.Org content rights.
It needed reservations. Skr had seen it online. It was a famous shop, which made reservations
notoriously difficult to get.
Minerva arrived ten minutes early.
When Skr came in, Minerva passed her the menu.
“ordered some of their specialties. It’s marked over there. You can order a few more dishes based
on your preferences. The food herees in small servings. You can order whatever catches your
eye.”
Skr agreed. She skimmed over the dishes that had been marked out. Minerva had ordered all
the specialties.

Skr added two desserts.
The dishes were served one after another.
“I heard people talking about you, Ms. Sullivan. I’ve been wanting to head to Mr. Gardner Senior’s
ce. However, I’ve been busy, so I couldn’t make the time to see you there. I’m not going to skirt
around the topic. Today, I’ve asked you to lunch because I believe my home is a little off. I would
like you to help me take a look,” Minerva said.
They didn’t engage in vapid small talk and went straight for the main point. This kind of interaction
was casual and wouldn’t tire one out.
“For the past month, I’ve been startling awake in the middle of the night. I feel like someone is
watching me from the shadows. Sometimes, I’ve even felt a weight on my back, as though
someone is pressing onto me.
“This feeling intensifies at night. Some of my rtives know divination masters. They went to my
house and said there was nothing wrong with it. They even said I’d
overthought it, and it was all part of my delusion.”
Madison didn’t hide the details of what happened. She told it as it had happened. Skr nodded
and asked, “Do you keep antiques at home?”
“Some. They were gifted by my elders. I won the others at auctions. I don’t know much about them.
I just bought them for my little collection.”
Most of them would be used as gifts for her elders during special asions.
“If it’s alright with you, I could take a look at your house,” said Skr.
Minerva’s eyes lit up. She said, “That’s awesome. Could we rush over after lunch? My ce isn’t far
from here. It’s a ten–minute ride.”
“No problem,” Skr agreed. After all, she had nothing to do in the afternoon.
The server brought a te of steamed fish. It was very fresh.
Upon seeing the fish, Minerva felt her stomach churn. She couldn’t resist the urge to turn and
heave.
