As the car drove down the road, Natalie finally spoke up, her eyes still red-rimmed. "I don''t know what Jeremy is thinking. When I saw him with Helena at the mall, I thought he had moved on from the past. But that day, he actually came to find me, saying he wanted to remarry."
Skr frowned. She nced at Natalie while waiting for a red light. "What''s he trying to do?"
Skr couldn''t help but think that Jeremy was simply clinging to a new love while refusing to let go of the old one.
Natalie shook her head with a bitter smile. "I really don''t know what he wants."
"Take me to the set. Mr. Powell is still filming just called Hank and told him had to leave. I feel like I''m being irresponsible with work. No matter what Jeremy is up to, we''re divorced now. We both need to move forward," Natalie said.
Skr immediately drove to the set, as Natalie requested.
"It''s actually quite a coincidence. Helena is supposed to make a cameo tonight. But when I left, she hadn''t arrived yet. She''s probably there now," Natalie added.
She found it even more puzzling
that, since Jeremy was in a
rtionship with Helena, he hadn''t had anyone call Helena over despite his drunken state. It felt like she was starting to understand Jeremy less and less since their divorce.
"Helena is at the set too? After she saw youst time, she should be aware of your past with Jermey. Be careful," Skr warned with concern.
Natalie smiled reassuringly. "I know Helena well. She''s just started to rise in poprity, and everyone says she''s very professional and easygoing.
"She''s not the type to be a diva. Even if she knows about my past with Jeremy, it doesn''t matter. We''re divorced now, and she doesn''t need to concern herself with that."
