    The atmosphere was as tense as a battlefield.


    Natalie hadn’t anticipated running into Jeremy. Since their divorce, they had hardly interacted. The


    last time they crossed paths, she could feel the widening gap between them. But now, seeing


    Jeremy again, it was as if she had done something wrong.

    It took her a moment to remember that they were already divorced. Following Jeremy’s gaze, she

    She forced a small, polite smile and greeted them, “What a coincidence. Are you here for dinner

    Jeremy’s lips twitched slightly. His eyes were locked on Natalie, but he said nothing.


    Then, his gaze shifted to Austin. Despite being slightly tipsy, Austin met Jeremy’s stare with a calm


    demeanor.

    Just then, another person arrived as the elevator doors began to close again.
