    Caleb was sweating from running around. He rolled his eyes while feeling a bit of pride. “Of course


    she is! I told you she has the skills but you didn’t believe me. If I hadn’t insisted, your team would

    “You did well this time,” Alexander said jovially. “Tell me, what do you want? Whatever it is, I’ll grant


    it.”


    He reached into his pocket and pulled out a card. “Take this. You can’t be stingy when you’re


    wooing someone. That youngdy passed my test. She’s good enough to be my granddaughter–in–


    law.”


    Caleb blushed at his words. “Grandpa, nothing’s set in stone yet.”


    “What’s not set in stone? Do your best. If you can’t win her over, then don’t call yourself my


    grandson. It would be an embarrassment.” Alexander huffed and shot an exasperated nce at


    Caleb, leaving him speechless.
