She puffed out her cheeks and used, “And I thought you were just an employee at Presgrave Group!”
“As I’ve said, you can still treat me as your friend. You don’t have to feel pressured because of my
identity.” He

Selena nudged Ellen. “Ellie, how could you me President Presgrave? He’s only trying to help.”
Though her words seemed like she was ming Ellen, she intended to sow discord between them.
Yet, Jared’s hooked into a smile. “Yes, it’s my fault for not telling you my identity in the first ce. To
compensate for it, how about I treat you to dinner tonight?”
As soon as Ellen heard that, she shook her head. “No, I should be the one treating you!”

Drowning in jealousy, Selena told herself that she had to find a way to join their dinner tonight!
