    his target instead,” Ren stated gravely.

    The feasting carried on today as the festive mood lingered. Elijah stayedte for work and thus joined


    them for dinner.


    Ruka sat on the couch and yed with the little kitten in herp. It had gotten a proper shower at the


    pet store, so its fur was clean and smooth to the touch. She was pretty sure that it was one of the most


    gorgeous cats alive.


    She smiled when she saw the two mening downstairs. As soon as Ren stepped onto thending,


    the cat leaped out of her arms and ran over to him. He stopped and it started climbing up his pants to


    try and snuggle in his arms.


    Ren had a smile on his face as he crouched down to pick the kitten up. Ruka felt like a giddy school girl


    again when she saw this. It was adorable in an odd way to see him hugging a cat.


    He carried himself with an air of dominance, but having a cat in his arms softened his intimidating aura


    and added a touch of gentleness to him. Any young woman who saw him right now would wish to be


    the cat in his arms!


    Ruka could not help but recall the way she used to fantasize about being a cat in his arms. She

    “Miss Singed, they did not buy a house. Mr. Husson is the one who prepared the house that they’ll be
