    "I don''t care," Rachel replied, interrupting him midsentence. "Your rtionship with Susan, and


    whatever you''ve said and done with her has nothing to do with me. Why would I even care?"


    Victor was rendered speechless.


    "I wanted to talk to you about this once you''re discharged from the hospital, but it seems if I don''t make


    myself clear, I''m unable to leave." A faint smile appeared on Rachel''s lips as she stared into his eyes.
