Chapter 114: Alpha’s order


    Never in her life, Athena ever experienced how it feels when the ground underneath shakes.Not even


    when she found out that she wasn’t Robert’s real daughter.Not even when Dominic rejected her the


    next morning after they met for the first time.Not when she found out to be pregnant with Ace.


    Nothing shook her till now.


    Until that moment when Dominic called her the daughter of the betrayer.


    She felt her whole world shook and the moment he walked away from there silently, she felt her world

    "Hi…his father was killed?…And Robert was behind it? How?" She asked herself while still standing at


    the same ce, in front of the cells.


    "A…and what rtion Robert shared with Dominic’s father? What’s going on?" She asked herself in


    confusion.she go after him or stay there and confront Robert? She couldn’t decide.

    Her wolf shouted in her mind in desperation, she was afraid of anything bad happening again because


    of this misunderstanding.


    But Athena suddenly decided against it, making her wolf growl in her mind in protest.


    "I trust him and he trusts me.I know we are already past the misunderstanding stage.I believe he won’t


    misunderstand us because of this."


    Athena said with confidence even though her heart was racing in a little bit of fear.


    ‘But why did he leave then? What if he leaves us again?’ Her wolf whined this time, afraid of the


    thought even.


    "No, he won’t! He loves us! He just needs time to adjust to the new information.It’s such a big thing.He


    will calm down soon ande back to us to hear us." Athena said in an assuring tone.


    She put her hands on her heart to calm it down.


    After giving herself some time, she turned back to look at the cell where Robert was.Her hatred for him


    increased some more.


    She clenched her fist tightly before taking dangerous steps toward the cell.Her steps were filled with


    fury.She needed answers.She needed a lot of answers about what she just discovered a few minutes


    ago.And she was going to get them all from Robert before going to talk to Dominic.


    With that thought in her mind, she opened the small window of the cell.


    It was to talk from outside.It was not that small, you can clearly see and speak with the person on the


    other side.


    "Who’s this?" Robert’s rough tone was heard from some corner in the room.


    "Is it the great alpha Dominic? Did you finally decide to face me? Or is it the day you end my life and


    take your revenge?" He spoke up without looking at who it was.


    As her scent was locked, he couldn’t even know who it was.She looked at him to find himying down


    on the floor with his eyes closed.Her anger rose to some other level, seeing himying down there so


    freely and casually.


    "Robert!" She growled out in a low tone, having a hard time in handling her rage.


    He immediately opened her eyes and sat up straight.He quickly stood up and walked toward her


    immediately with a sick smirk on his face.


    She felt like punching him on the face to wipe that smirk out.


    "Oh, my dear daughter! Did you remember about your father after so long?" He asked in a taunting


    tone.


    "Don’t fucking call me daughter! I am fucking disgusted by you!"


    She shouted, ashamed of herself for calling him ‘Dad’ for years.


    "Why do I see a new level of hatred in your eyes?" He asked in a damn care tone with a small shrug of


    his shoulder.


    "You son of a bitch! You betrayed Dominic’s father and got him killed?!"


    She shouted in usation, wanting to kill him so badly.She started to seeplete red after she saw


    the smirk on his face which answered her question.


    "Oh, you just found out.Yeah, I did that.It was so fun and very easy as well.After all his father was a


    dump alpha.I couldn’t work under such a soft hearted alpha." He said with a small shrug of his, not


    regretful at all about his act.


    "Why?! And what do you mean by working under him?" She asked with a furious look on her face.


    But she was confused at the same time.


    "Oh, I was his beta." Robert said with a smirk.


    Athena looked at him with widened eyes.She unknowingly took a step back, unable to digest the


    information.


    Beta! A beta betrayed his alpha and Dominic thinks she was that beta’s daughter! It was such a big


    betrayal.


    Now she was scared as well.She quickly ran from there toward the exit ignoring Robert’s words.


    He was asking her about her identity but she couldn’t concentrate.


    She wanted to find Dominic as soon as possible and clear the misunderstanding but she was stopped


    at the gate by a guard.


    "You can’t go out. Alpha’s order."
