Chapter 64: Alpha’s blood


    “No! It’s not possible! It’s not possible! Hey, you witch! What magic did you do?! It‘s not possible! Break


    the freaking magic!” Stacey shouted in fury while looking between Dominic and Athena in That


    hopelessness wasing from the anger she was feeling at that moment.


    “I didn’t do any magic. I just did what you told me to do. Now don’t tell me about anything. If the result is


    not satisfying for you, you should have asked me about it beforehand and tell me to change it

    The witch snapped back at her, without realising what she was talking about. Stacey looked at her with


    widened eyes in shock. She just gave off that Stacey used her before for her magic.


    “Shut the hell up!” Stacey shrieked out loudly. At that moment, Dominic turned around to re at her


    with his eyes turning red with unshed tears.


    “Nathan, Justin, imprison these two. Do not let them escape.” He ordered in a cold growl which passed


    a shiver through both their spines. But before any of them could make a run for it, Nathan and Justin


    were already out of their chairs, following his orders. As if they were waiting for that order only.


    “Nathan! What are you doing?! Leave me! Why are you holding me instead of her who did such


    things?! Let me go!” Stacey shouted and struggled to set free but she couldn’t even move a muscle in


    front of Nathan‘s strength.


    “Why are you guys holding me?! Whatever happened it‘s their fault, I just did what I was asked. Leave


    me!” The witch shouted but she couldn’t get free as well.


    “You interacted with wolves and agreed to do what they asked you to do is enough to get you where


    you are at that moment. Better prepare yourself for your punishment.” One of the board members


    snapped at her which made her frown in anger but shut her up.


    “Alpha Dominic? What are we going to do now?” The oldest member asked while looking at Dominic


    who was looking at Athena with an unexinable look on his face.


    It was filled with anger, betrayal, agony, hurt and one more thing which no one could exin. While


    Athena was looking down guiltily, unable to meet his using eyes.


    “We wille to my mate and what she did, why she did thatter. First I would like to know what


    Stacey did with the help of the witch.” Dominic spoke up with gritted teeth while looking at Stacey with a


    dark look on his eyes. Stacey looked visibly nervous and scared seeing the look on his face.


    “D... Dominic! Trust me. I didn‘t do anything. I... I just brought her here to reveal the truth of Athena.


    Nothing else. I don’t know what she was talking about. You have to trust me. Whatever else she is


    going to say is a lie. You have to trust me.” She shouted but shouting wasn’t taking her anywhere.


    “Tell us, what did she use you for if you want the best for you.” Dominic growled at the witch in an


    intimidating tone, using the best of his tone and it even made the witch bow in front of him.


    “She…she… I am the same witch Alpha Derrick used to mess with your mate bond… I had to do that


    by capturing her wolf using my magic. That’s the reason her wolf is unable to respond to her calling.


    But what just happened with her, I don‘t know what’s happening. I think her wolf is really powerful and


    is trying to free the magic and due to that, it’s possible that her power is unleashing. I don’t know what’s


    happening but I couldn‘t think of anything other than this.” The witch exined.


    “Alpha Derrick? How is he connected to her?!” Nathan asked with a deep frown.

    witch asked in a hopeful tone. It was her only chance to escape and she was going to use it no matter


    what.


    “You can’t do that! You won’t do anything like that!” Stacey hissed at her in anger and frustration but the


    witch didn’t even look at her. Her eyes were on Dominic who was thinking of her offer.


    “Okay. I will let you go. Now tell me the truth.” Dominic said in a nk tone. But the witch wasn’t sure


    yet.


    “You are giving your words, alpha Dominic. I am going to trust you. I know the word trust doesn’t suit


    me. I am a witch. I can never be trusted but you are an alpha. Don’t put me down.” She yed with her


    words to get the assurance she wanted. Dominic looked at her in annoyance.


    “You have my words. The moment you tell me the truth and free my mate from every possible magic, I


    will set you free. But you will leave the territory as well. Because I give you another set of my words, if I


    ever find you anywhere near me, I am going to punish you by following all the rules. Is that clear?”


    Dominic asked in a dark tone and the witch immediately nodded at her.


    “Okay. So, here’s the truth. This woman right here, Stacey. She is nothing like she shows herself to


    everyone. She is a vicious woman filled with lies from head to toe. She is the one who teamed up with


    Alpha Derrick to kidnap your mate. She initially nned to kill your mate by magic but then alpha


    Derrick demanded for your mate for some reason which is why they made a deal to get her away from


    your life together. That’s the part I know about.” She took a breath to let everyone get familiar with what


    she said before continuing again.


    “But there’s more of her. But I am not going to tell you about it. You have to find it out on your own. But


    just know, she is worse than a vicious snake or witch, none of them is better than the other.” The witch


    said while looking at Stacey disgustingly. She has never met a woman like Stacey who’s filled with so


    much nastiness inside her.


    “LIES! LIES! IT‘S ALL LIES! I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!” Stacey shouted like a mad dog. Her fur was


    coming out along with her canines as she red at the witch. She shifted half way through in anger


    and defence because she knew that she didn’t have any other way out of it now.


    “Respected counsellors, you all have been a witness of what happened here. Now I don’t want anyone


    to interrupt my decision regarding a backstabber of my pack. Because I hold the right


    to do anything for the safety of my pack and my mate.” Dominic announced while looking at Stacey


    with nothing but hatred and disgust. None of the board members dared to say anything.


    “Following that, I announce to imprison and throw Stacey to the cell right away without any dy.


    Nathan, you know what to do. Throw her in the cell and make sure she can’t escape and after that


    prepare to call a meeting with the alpha of South, her father.” Dominic ordered and Nathan nodded at


    her, immediately knowing what to do. He started dragging Stacey out with him regardless of the fight


    she was trying to put in.


    “No! No! Dominick! You can’t do that to me! You can’t! I did all these for you! I love you, Dominic! You


    can’t do this to me!” Stacey shouted like the pathetic woman she was but no one paid any attention to


    her anymore as she was pulled outside the roompletely by Nathan and a few other guards.


    “We still can’t believe how an alpha’s daughter can act like that. She is a pure disgrace.” The same


    man who was talking on Stacey’s behalf till then spoke up.


    “Alpha Dominic, we should do something about alpha Derrick before he gets out of hand. We have


    received manyints about him.” Another board member spoke up with a thoughtful look on his


    face.


    “Yes, I will handle him as well as he made a direct attack on my pack as well.” Dominic said with


    gritted teeth before looking back at the witch who was waiting for his attention as well.


    ” Now, start your thing and take your magic back from her. Then you are free to go.” He said in a nk


    tone before moving away from a silently standing Athena.


    “Sure but get the child away from her otherwise it might affect him.” The witch said and Dominic turned


    around to look at her with a nk look on his face. She looked up at him with a sad yet worried look as


    she unknowingly took a step back from him. Her hold around a sleeping Ace got tightened as well.


    “Do… Dominic –...” She couldn‘tplete her sentence when Dominic reached her with one long step


    and took Ace out of her hold without any word and she couldn’t even protest. He held Ace protectively


    in his arms and stepped away from her again.


    “Do it now.” He ordered the witch while looking at Athena nkly.


    “Okay.” The witch said and just likest time, she closed her eyes and started murmuring something


    whileing and standing in front of her. Everyone was waiting eagerly for something to happen just


    like thest time. They were preparing themselves to get a shock just like thest time.


    “Ahhhhh! Stop!!!” Athena shrieked out of nowhere, making everyone look at her in shock. She took a


    few steps back and took a support of the wall as she clutched her head. She howled in pain and pulled


    her hair with one hand and clutched her chest with another.


    “What’s happening?” Justin asked in worry when he saw how Dominic wasn’t showing any reaction.


    “The magic is breaking free.” The witch said as she stood there, looking at Athena to see the process


    gettingpleted. Athena’s canines came out and red fur started to rise on her body. Her eyes turned


    red and


    orange again, looking like fire. Everyone looked at her in astonishment with widened eyes.


    “She is a red wolf!” They all shrieked out and suddenly her screams stopped. Everything stopped. Her


    canines and fur went back. Her eyes turned normal again as she stood there lifelessly, motionlessly.


    Her hair was hiding her face.


    “What happened?” Justin asked once again while looking worriedly.


    “She is free from any kind of magic now.” The witch said and immediately after that they saw Athena


    falling down, losing her bnce.


    But before she could fall downpletely, Dominic caught her by the waist at the right time with Ace


    still in his arms.


    “You are free now as well. Leave this territory right this second.” Dominic said while not looking at her


    as his eyes were fixed on Athena’s half opened eyes.


    “Thank you, Alpha Dominic.” Saying that she vanished with the thin air within seconds.


    “Do… Dominic…” She mumbled tiredly while raising her hands up slowly to touch his cheeks.


    “Alpha Dominic, so is this child...?” The oldest member trailed off withoutpleting his sentence.


    “Athena?” Dominic called her name for the first time after Ace’s scent was revealed.


    “Hmm…” She could only hum at that moment as her whole body was paining. She was feeling as if she


    was shifting for the first time ever.


    “Is Ace-…” He started asking with a frown which Athena took away from him.


    “Your child? Yes. Ace is your son, Dominic, whom I kept hidden for years.”


    That was it. She couldn’t say anything else after that and ended up losing her consciousness in his


    arms. He closed his eyes tightly as soon as he heard her and the pain on the wound on his chest


    intensified out of nowhere.


    The moment the magic was taken away from Ace, he instantly knew Ace was his son but hearing that


    from the mother of his child hit differently. He didn’t know what to do or feel at that moment. He felt


    numb at that moment. The pain on his chest was the only thing he could feel at that moment.


    “Alpha Dominic, I think it’s best if we give you sometime. We will take your leave now. I think we will


    meet soon. But before I leave, I would like to tell you something which I think you should know.” The


    oldest and wisest board member spoke up in a serious and mature tone. “What is it?” Dominic


    whispered out. He was losing his energy as well. He was exhausted after facing such a big truth of his


    life and at the same time getting lost in the thought of the past almost three years ago.


    “Your mate. She is not someone normal. I could smell her blood which has the simr characteristic as


    Ace’s blood. Do you know what I mean?” The man asked and Dominic looked at him in shock


    “Do you mean that… she has an alpha’s blood?”
