Chapter 60: Kiss and pout


    “Dominic, please leave. I am not really in the mood to talk to you at this moment.” Athena said with a


    scowl while looking away from him.


    “Athena? Please calm down.” He requested softly while pulling her hands and held her hands in his.


    She looked at him in confusion with tears in her eyes


    “How could you do this?” She asked while frowning at him.


    “How could I do what?” He asked, acting clueless.


    “This meeting! How you insulted me in the closed room wasn’t enough that you called this meeting


    now?” She shouted while shaking in anxiety and anger.


    “Shh.. calm down, Athena. Too much stress is not good for you.” Dominic said in a low voice without


    giving off any expressions.


    Athena scoffed at him.


    “Look who’s talking! The one and only reason for my stress.” She snapped at him with hatred.


    “Calm down, will you?” Dominic asked while raising his voice a little. He was stressed as well.


    “No! I won’t! Get away from me! Leave me!” She shouted and started to squirm in his hold. Suddenly


    she realised something and looked at him in shock. “And does this meeting include Ace somehow? I


    swear, Dominic. They are-…” She couldn’tplete her sentence when Dominic stopped her by


    pressing his lips t o her.


    She was shocked it would be an understatement. She just froze then and there. She couldn’t


    understand what’s happening?


    On the other side even Dominic was shocked by his own actions. What is he doing? What was he


    thinking before doing so? He just saw her getting hyper in worry, she was shaking and he had to do


    something to stop her. At that moment the only thing that came to his mind was this.


    And he kissed her.


    Dominic knew the decision was wrong after he pressed his lips on her, because the moment he moved


    away from her, she would st in anger because the thing in the bedroom was already messed up. He


    knew he had to act differently from that moment.


    But now they both freeze. They weren’t moving, they weren’t making any movement. They just kept


    standing there with their lips sealed. For god knows how long. They both could feel each other’s


    heartbeat which was beating erratically.


    After five minutes or so Dominic moved his lips from her ever so slowly and kept his forehead on her.


    He was breathing heavily but on the other hand Athena stopped breathingpletely. Dominic noticed


    that.


    “Breath.” He ordered softly in a breathless tone as she was in a daze, she abided by his order and let


    out the breath immediately.


    She breathed in and out for a few seconds and when air entered her brain and knocked her sense, she


    looked up at him with wide eyes. Her eyes widened in shock and embarrassment. She felt stupid in


    front o I him to let Dominic control her this way once again.


    “You… you…” She couldn’tplete her sentence as she didn’t know what to say. “Could you please


    leave?” She finally settled with that while getting away from her. Their closeness wasn’t helping them


    with the situation.


    She had her hands crossed over her chest, popping her boobs up a little bit. He gulped as soon as his


    eyesnded on that but he immediately looked away. He knew she was actually very pissed and he


    didn’t want to worsen her mood further just before the meeting. He hade here to lighten it up a little


    instead. So, he put on a fake low expression on his face and let out a sigh, making her look at him with


    a raised eyebrow.


    “Fine, I will leave if you don’t want me here. I will go somewhere else.” He said while acting


    disappointed that she was throwing him out. She looked at him with a frown.


    “To whom? To that witch, Stacey?” Athena said in a tone which reflected nothing else but pure jealousy.


    Just when that line slipped out of her mouth, she realised what she said.


    Where the hell did thate from?!


    Dominic turned back to look at her in amusement while she looked at him in shock.


    “Why do you think that I am going to meet Stacey? And where did thate from? Are you by any


    chance, jealous?” He asked while taking a step toward her. The smirk was shining bright on his lips.


    “……..heard her bluffing in the hallway of your office when I went to meet you. She was talking about


    some peace thing you offered her as your apology for not epting her as your Luna at the end.” She


    grunted out the words with pure displeasure and her signature pout immediately took ce on her lips.


    Dominic admired her jealousy and cute face with a smile on his lips. All the frustration and tension


    regarding the meeting flew out of the window the moment he saw her cute pout.


    “When did you hear about it?” He asked in a soft tone. He actually nned to offer peace to Stacey


    and her pack but it’s not that simple. He got some intention and he can’t reveal that to her or anyone


    other than his beta and gamma.


    “I was going to your office to meet you beforeing to this room, that’s when I heard you.” She


    replied, still with the pout.


    “Why didn’t you meet me then?” He asked huskily while nearing her.


    “Because I was angry!” She eximed it ever so cutely. She was too stressed to notice how casual she


    was being with him and he didn’t want her toe back to senses.

    ‘Who would say that she is a mother of a smart kid like Ace?’ Dominic thought with a soft smile.


    “So I assume it’s the reason why you are angry with me and became a grumpy cat from a wolf.”


    Dominic said while wrapping his arms around her waist affectionately and pulled her closer.


    “Is what she said true?” She questioned back while ignoring his statement. She wanted to know what


    kind of peace it was. She didn’t want Dominic to be anywhere near her. She didn’t know from where


    she was getting all these possessiveness but she wasn’t even trying to hide it. She put her hands over


    his chest and looked up at him with the same pout along with a deep frown.


    “I so want to kiss those pouty lips of yours till you will be begging for breath.” He said in such a strong


    tone with a hooded look on his eyes which made Athena curl her toes in desire. Her cheeks were


    med red and her eyes were equally hooded in wild imagination. She immediately remembered their


    encounter i In the bedroom and the blush intensified,


    The pout was gone in a blink and she gave his chest a small p for making fun of her even in a


    situation like this. They both almost forgot their situation and tension at that moment.


    “Dominic! I am serious!” She said with a scowl, trying to get away from him but he tightened his hold


    around her.


    “Sure. We will talk about this tonight when we finish this meeting. Be ready in tracksuits. I want to take


    you somewhere.” He said with a smile on his lips and gave her small nose a small peck, making her


    eyes widened in shock and soon it turned into blush.


    “Where will we go?” She asked in confusion.


    “You will know soon. But could you promise me one thing?” He asked in a hope filled tone.


    “What?”


    “Please let this meeting be sessful for you and Ace.” He said in a serious yet nervous tone. He was


    afraid that she would mess it up and get in trouble which he didn’t want. She didn’t know from where


    she got confident out of nowhere and looked at him with determination.


    “You can trust me on this one then.” She said with confidence.


    Pecking her nose one more time, he left the office to start the meeting after Athena nodded her head


    affirmatively.
