"Ace… Baby…you are a good boy, right? Please don’t cry.Please listen to Aunt Suzy."
Suzanne tried to calm the crying child down but Ace wasn’t having any of it.He cried harder, grabbing
all the attention around them.
"Mommy! Where is mommy?! I want mommy.I want to go to mommy! Take me to mommy.Mommy…"
He cried and shouted.
Everyone looked at him in annoyance, making Suzanne and Patricia really nervous.
"Oh, my god, Suzanne! We need to calm him down as soon as possible.He is annoying the people
here.We won’t be able to keep them calm for long.They can get ruthless at a rogue pup for ruining their
peace at the party.Where is Athena?"
Patricia asked in a worried tone while looking at people who were ring at Ace badly, scaring the poor
kid more.
The party’s starting will be announced in a few seconds.
As Dominic’s second and third inmands, Nathan and Justin were with him to apany him in

"Why didn’t shee with you? Why didn’t you bring her with you?" Patricia asked with a worried look
as she looked around in anxiety.
"I don’t know, Patricia.Trust me, I don’t.I told her toe with me.But she said she had some work to
do.She didn’t tell me what.I guess she is just nervous and needed some alone time to calm her nerves
down.You already saw her.She was a little off than usual." Suzanne said in a worried tone.
"I understand that but it’s getting hard to handle him.Also, he will also fall sick from crying so much."
Patricia said while caressing his head lovingly but nothing was working.

Ace cried once again and that’s when someone from the crowd spoke up for the first time.
"What is this rogue pup doing in here?!"
A man shouted in anger whileing out of nowhere and stood i n front of them.

A woman spoke up as viciously as the man as she stood in front of them as well.
Both of their faces were saying nothing but disapproval for Ace’s presence.
They all had ruthlessness and heartlessness clear on their faces.
Soon more and more people joined him and they started taking slow and dangerous steps toward
them.
"Throw him out!"
"We don’t want him here!"
"We can’t tolerate him here!"
"I want to kill him!"
They all shouted while some of them were already showing out their canines, ready to pounce at them
any moment.
"Don’t you dare toe near us! I ammanding you as your second inmanddy! Stop right
there!"
Suzanne shouted in an intimidating yet nervous tone.
"Yes, stop right there.You won’t like what will happen to you if the alpha finds out what you are trying to
do o here,"
Patricia shouted while ring at each of them.She wasn’t scared of them but the situation was s o
noisy and messed up that it was making her feel suffocated.She was overwhelmed and didn’t know
what to do as they kept getting more and more aggressive.

"Our alpha doesn’t like rogues!"

Suzanne and Patricia looked at them in shock.
They understood that something was definitely wrong with these people but they didn’t know what it
was.
Suzanne and Patricia tried to calm them down by using their second and third inmand tones, but it
wasn’t working on them for some reason, making them more nervous.
None of them were listening to them.
It looked as if they were possessed by something.
It was actually getting scary.
At that moment they could only ask for help from the goddess while hugging each other.
Even Ace got quite in fear.
Then suddenly a loud and familiar voice shouted, making Suzanne and Patricia sigh in relief.
"What’s happening here?"
They all turned around after hearing the powerful voice of Dominic and immediately everyone got
silent.
All those who were going to attack at Ace shivered in fear as the most powerful men in the pack red
at them.
As if they were pulled out of the daze they were in.
They looked confused and scared.
Dominic, Nathan and Justin already witnessed and understood the situation.
Suzanne and Patricia ran toward their respective mates and hugged them tightly.
Ace was still in Suzanne’s arm.

Ace if they hadn’t arrived at the right time.
What was wrong with these people?! They red at the group of people while Nathan and Justin

Ace started to cry again.

Dominic hushed the pack member with one growl before walking toward a shivering Ace.He forwarded
his arms toward Ace to take him in his arms from Suzanne and offered him a small smile.
But Ace was too shocked and in fear to react to that.He didn’t move a muscle to go to Dominic.
"Ace, won’t youe to your superhero?" Dominic asked in a soft tone which made Ace cry harder.
"Superhero…"
Ace cried out loud and immediately jumped to Dominic’s open arms.
"They are bad people, superhero.They were scaring me.They were shouting and scaring me.I don’t like
them.I want mama.Can you please take me to mama?"
Ace cried while hiding his face on Dominic’s chest.
Dominic felt his chest tightening hearing the cry of the innocent child.
"It’s okay, baby, Don’t cry, please.You are my champion, aren’t you? You are my and mama’s brave
boy.You are not scared.You are strong, aren’t you? How are you going to protect your mommy you are
so scared, right? You need to be very brave to protect mommy.So you need to stop crying now, can
you do that?’ Dominic talked with Ace with so much affectionate that it surprised and fascinated
everyone present in the room a lot.
"Okay, I will stop crying and be a good boy, I will not fear the bad people as well.But can you please
take me to mommy or bring mommy here.I want to hug her.She smells really nice and I love it.It makes
me happy." Ace said with teary eyes.
He was trying really hard to keep the tears in.
"Trust me, baby.I couldn’t agree more.There’s something magical in her scent."
Dominic muttered under his breath so that no one else could hear him.
"Did you say something, superhero?" Ace asked with a confused frown.
"No, I just said that I am proud of you."
He smiled at him while kissing him on the cheek.
Everyone looked at the scene in awe and no one dared to make a sound to break the momentum.
They wanted to keep watching such a warm scene.
The pack members were shocked to see that new side of their alpha while Nathan and Justin were

Everyone turned around to look at the stairs to find an all decked up Stacey ring and fuming at Ace
in anger.
She was wearing a queen pink gown, looking like a hot air balloon as she wore a princess gown but it
didn’t suit her.
Also the colour was so unmatched with the asion that it wasn’t looking more out of ce.
She did heavy makeup and had her hair in a stylish bun.
She walked down the stairs and stood in front of Dominic Ace.She looked pissed off for some reason.
"Drop the bastard down right away, Dominic."
She ordered, already thinking of herself as the Luna of the – pack.
How ridiculous! "Umm… Stacey… I don’t think you should call him that.Athena is not going to like it
when she hears that you called her son that… trust me, it’s a little bit unhealthy for you."
Suzanne said with a nervous look, worried for her future Luna.
"What will one call a bastard if not ‘bastard? What is she going to do to me?" Stacey asked with a roll of
her eyes.
But before anyone could say something, their attention was pulled to the entrance of the mansion this
time.
"Last time I remember breaking someone’s head for calling my son that, this time I have something
nicer nned for you."

shock.
