Sucking the blood IN THE EVENING
“Mommy! Mommy, I want to help!"
Ace eximed in excitement as he jumped on his seat.
He was seated on the kitchen b as he saw her mother work hard.
Athena smiled hearing her adorable baby as he mixed the batter with a whisker.
She set down the bowl filled with batter on the b and looked at Ace with a big smile.
"And how does my baby n to help me?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
She absolutely loves Ace and she feels her heart warm up by each of his actions.
"I want to mix it as well." Ace said while giving her a toothy grin.
He only has four teeth.He looks so cute when he grins full mouth.He has a dimple which pops out and
it makes him look cuter.
She chuckled out loud hearing her.She took a little amount of chocte batter and put it on his nose,
making him scrunch his nose to take a look at it.She chuckled again.
"It’s heavy, baby.You can’t hold it, let alone move it." She said with a smile.
"Then I want to taste it."
He suddenly demanded with a cheeky smile.She raised her eyebrows at him, seeing him giving up so
easily.
Normally he gives a really hard time when he wants something and doesn’t stop until he gets it.

"Sure, wait a second." She replied and was going to take a small amount in her finger to put it in his
mouth, "No! I want to take it myself! Bring the bowl here!"
He demanded while eying the bowl with a mischievous smile.
Athena raised an eyebrow noticing that smile.
"What’s in your head, baby? You better not do any mischief."
She warned with a small smile before bringing the bowl in front of him.
"Sure, mommy!"
He eximed loudly in happiness and before Athena could understand what was happening, Ace took
a big amount of chocte cookie batter and pasted it on her right cheeks.
She looked at him in shock and disbelief while heughed out loud.
He was finding it really funny.
"Mommy is not mommy any more! Mommy is now a chocte mommy!"
Ace eximed in happiness as he pped his hands.She looked at him in amusement.
"Chocte mommy, huh? Mommy is now going to be a tickle monster!"
Athena announced with a smirk and before he could run away, she held him and started tickling him.
Heughed out loud which made herugh as well.
"Mommy, no! Stop! You are a good mommy! Stop! Don’t tickle! No tickle monster!"
Ace shouted in between hisugh and was trying to push her hand away but she wasn’t having it.
"Why no tickle monster? Ace is naughty!"

He eximed once again and that’s when Athena stopped.
But that doesn’t mean they stoppedughing.
They were stillughing freely as if they were the happiest people alive in the world.
As if someone put a lot of happiness in front of them and took all the sadness from them.

They immediately stoppedughing, hearing the cold and hard voice.
They slowly turned around to find the source of the voice and found the least expected person there.
Seeing the person, Athene’s smile dropped while Ace’s smile widened.
"Superhero!" Ace eximed in happiness.
"Mommy, put me down!"
He almost jumped, leaving her with no options other than putting him down.
Ace ran toward Dominic as soon as he was down.
Dominic was going to pick him up when Athena stopped her.
"Don’t pick him up! He has chocte all over himself.He will get that on you as well and it will ruin your
suit." She said in a low tone while looking away with a frown.
Her frown deepened when he still picked Ace up regardless of her warning.
"Then why were you ying with him? Weren’t you afraid that he might get your dress dirty as well?"
He asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I am his mom.The only thing that matters to me is his happiness.Nothing else.But whatever, you won’t
understand this until you have your own child." She said with a nk look on her face.
His eyes darkened immediately after hearing her.But before he could say something, Ace interrupted
him.
"Superhero, put me down.I want to go out and y with uncle Nathan and uncle Justin.Or else they will
start ying without me."
Ace eximed with a pout, making Dominic look at him with a raised eyebrow.
"I will punish them badly if they y without you.Just let me know." Dominic said with a small smile,
making Ace grin in happiness.
"Okay!"

Athena and Dominic said at the same time.
They immediately went silent after realising that.
They shared a look but Athena was the first to look away.
"What are you doing here?" Dominic spoke up in his usual cold tone.
Athena didn’t look up at him, instead she took the bowl of batter in her hands and started to stir it again.
"I am baking cookies for Ace.And before you say why am I not working for the party, let me tell you, I
already finished my part of work." Athena said with a frown while still not looking at him.
She heard his footsteps nearing but she kept her eyes down and kept working.
"That’s not what I meant.I meant, what are you doing here instead of being in my mansion?" Dominic
asked in a low tone.
She could feel his breath on the bare skin of her neck.She had her hair up in a bun for baking which
was exposing her neck more than necessary.
But that also meant he was standing too close to her.
But she still didn’t show any reaction even though the mate bond started doing its magic already.She
could feel all the tingling.
"I already told you that I am making Ace cookies.And before you ask why I am not using your kitchen,
Stacey forbade me from entering there."
She answered in a nk tone while stirring it a little more forcefully than normal.
Dominic noticed that and he put his hand over her, stilling her immediately.
Her heart skipped a bit as she could feel her back touch his chest.
She could feel his heartbeat as well.
He slowly started to mix again while still holding her hands.
She tried to pull her hand away but he tightened the grip, not letting her do that, you didn’t have to
listen to her like always."

She shivered when his breath hit her exposed skin repeatedly.
"She is the Luna.I should listen to her."

But she did a great job in keeping her face void o f any expression.

passing second.She felt as if someone was jabbing her heart with sharp nails.

"Don’t try to ruin it by doing anything."
He spoke up, an obvious taunt was present in his tone and that’s what was enough for Athena to lose
her calm.
She forcefully pulled her hand out of his hand and stood away from him.
He looked at her with a casual look on his face while she red at him hard.
"What the hell do you think of me, huh? If you take me as such a threat, how about I don’t attend it at
all?" She snapped while fuming hard.
She might be difficult to handle and she might not like Stacey and Dominic, but she is not someone to
create unnecessary drama or problems.

"No, I want you at the party.I want you at the party when I perform the ritual.I want you to see all that
with your eyes when I mark her as my Luna." He said with a smirk because he could feel that she was

His question pressed the wrong button on her and shepletely lost her mind in anger.
"Can’t you fucking feel this goddamn mate bond?! It will kill me! It’s fucking making me go crazy! I want
to get rid of it but I don’t know how!"
She threw her hands around in anger while shouting and that’s when she hurt her finger which was
already cut by the rose thorn.
And as usual, because of her slow healing ability, it was still in a bad state.
She hissed out loud in pain and immediately clutched her fingers which started to bleed again.
"Show me!"
Dominic eximed with a frustrated look before taking her hand forcefully.He clenched his jaw seeing
her bleeding so badly.
"Leave my ha…"
She couldn’t evenplete her sentence when he suddenly put her finger into his mouth, sucking her
blood, She looked at him with widened eyes before trying to pull it away.
"Wha…what are you doing?" She asked in a nervous tone with a crazy heartbeat.
"It’s once again proved that only I can hurt you, even if that means by my rose and only I can heal you."
He said in a husky voice while looking at her with a lot of intensity.
That’s when she realised that the wound on her finger was gone.
She looked at him shocked but before she could say something, he turned around and left the room
after licking the chocte off of her cheeks.
“Chocte mommy," Hemented while walking away.
