Chapter 168: Verdanturf Ribbon

    Whoosh~~~~~~~~

    Whoosh~~~~~~~~

However, to everyones astonishment, this weak and feeble wind, though it did not harm Manectric, when it blew across the ground, it swept upyers of golden, covering the entire arena with a yellow mist.

    Aowoo~~~~~~~~

As if identally inhaling something unpleasant, Manectrics eyes widened, groaning in pain.

Whats wrong, Manectric! the young man eximed in shock.

The yellow mist was Stun Spore. While evading the opponents attacks, Beautifly agilely flew around, sprinkling arge amount of Stun Spore gradually in various ces.

Due to the maic field created by Electric Terrain, these granr pollen particles of Stun Spore went unnoticed as they were absorbed into the ground, gradually umting from just a few specks to forming a thinyer.

As Electric Terrain disappeared, these Stun Spores broke free from the ground, bing active again. As the Gust move was used, instantly, the entire arena was filled with Stun Spores mist.

And Manectric, inhaling the Stun Spore, inevitably fell into Paralysis state.

Facing the iing thread of silk, the young man loudly ordered it to dodge, but Manectric couldnt ovee the nerve and body Paralysis by relying on just its willpower, its movements slowing down.

From the beginning, Terrance never intended to engage in a direct confrontation when his opponent thought he was suppressing him using Electric Terrain. Instead, he used Electric Terrain toy a trap with Stun Spore.

Now, Manectric had fallen into the trap, entangled byyers of Giga Drain silk threads. As energy was continuously drained away, Manectrics expression became more and more numb

    Ding

All these changes happened in an instant, and most of the audience didnt even realize what had happened.

Only the three judges could clearly understand why there was such a drastic change in such a short time.

Giga Drain, and the maniption of Stun Spores dust by airflow.

Bound by the threads, Manectricy weakly on the ground, not only facing the absorption of energy but also the invasion of Stun Spore into its nose and mouth with the blowing air.

The young man was sweating profusely with anxiety. He tried his best to free Manectric from the trap, but he found this set of moves too despicable.

Being bound and continuously infused with Stun Spore, coupled with Giga Drain draining its stamiba watching Manectrics eyes dimming, the young man couldnt bear to see his appeal points gradually diminish as he recalled Manectric.

    This the judges murmured.

    the audience.

In this battle Terrance unexpectedly changed from his previous style, winning with an extremely scummy tactic.

I lost the young mans head hung low, his face flushed red. The loss was too ugly, with no chance of counterattack. The heroic attack at the beginning now seemed like hitting his own face

Terrance-senpai In the lobby, Sora observed with an odd mix of emotions at how Terrance achieved victory, and her mood after being rejected by the other party suddenly improved a little, and even felt a little relieved?

And Terrance, the source of all this, obviously didnt think much about it. Winning was enough for him.

Silentlyying down ayer of Stun Spore, isnt this also a test of Pokmon coordination? As for mastering the timing of Giga Drain, controlling the binding of String Shot, and using air currents to blow in Stun Spore

All of these are Beautifly showcasing its mastery of the moves, undoubtedly a clear disy of its skills. Surely, the judges must also be able to see through the intricacies of it all.

Indeed Terrances battle in this round had reshaped the perspectives of two judges regarding Terrance. They had initially thought extravagant battle styles like Electric Whirlpool, Silver Meteor Shower, and White spinning top was his forte.

However, they found themselves mistaken. Terrance excels in precise control of the battle situation, a profound understanding of opponent Pokmon and their moves, as well as his own Pokmon. His remarkable ability lies in adjusting his moves skillfully to any situation.

    Just as Teacher Julian said

Whether its breeding, coordination, ormand, they are all fundamental skills of a Trainer.

One should not be confined by thebels Breeder, Coordinator, or Trainer, and choose another aspect because you hate one aspect.

When you know all the three, breeding, coordination andmand, thats when one can be considered an excellent Trainer.

Terrance, appearing on this stage as a Coordinator, has clearly achieved this. Understanding Electric Terrain, using its ability as a weapon, he showcased his umtion as a Breeder.

Beautiflys meticulous control of continuously blowing Stun Spore into Manectrics body demonstrated coordination skills.

Andmand was integrated into every aspect of this battle, with eachmand and every action of Beautifly reflecting the Trainers decisions.

Not abandoning any quality a Trainer should possess, even though Terrance is currently identified as a Trainer, in the eyes of others, in the eyes of the judges, he is also an extremely outstanding Coordinator, wless in every aspect.

No one would ridicule a Trainer for having high-level breeding skills, and no one would criticize a Coordinator having exceptionally strong Pokmon

For a Trainer or Coordinator, it is important to highlight ones focus while not neglecting any of the basic qualities of a Trainer. Only then can others truly see the shining aspects of this profession.

Clearly, Terrance did just that, which is why he quickly garnered the attention of the judges in the shortest time possible.

    The winner has appeared!!!!

As Vivian shouted, the audience who had supported Terrance from the beginning cheered with enthusiasm.

Terrances performance in the battle gave them a satisfactory response. If nothing unexpected happens, the sense of anticipation and satisfaction brought by Terrances victory will likely increase their favorability towards him, leading to continuous support for Terrance.

Verdanturf Towns Pokmon Contest, Verdanturf Conference ends here. And the winner of the Verdanturf Ribbon isContestant Terrance!

Lets congratte him with warm apuse!!

Although its only a town-level Pokmon Contest, winning the first Ribbon in Hoenn made Terrance very excited.

Next, as long as he continues with the same momentum and secures the remaining four Ribbons in one go, the ticket to the Grand Festival will be in his hands.

Just like that time in Sinnohs Pokmon Contest, Terrance, a stranger who came out of nowhere, a new face in the Pokmon Contest scene, unsurprisingly, received a lot of attention from the audience who support the Pokmon Contests and Coordinators.

Whether as an admirer, apetitor, or a challenger In short, this Verdanturf Conference has thoroughly announced Terrances journey to dominate the Hoenn Pokmon Contest.
