There was nothing except the thick nket of white in the Soul ind. Zhan Chen felt more curious, the deeper he went into the treasurednd of the Soul ind.


    He met other participants on his way towards the middle but he ignored them due to the time constraint. The second princess of the Spirit pce, Chi Shuying was following behind him and Zhan Chen became amazed by her resilience in handling the pressureing from the Soul ind.


    "Big brother, I will cultivate here", she spoke afte walking for a while. Zhan Chen stopped after hearing her words and turned to look at her.


    "Miss Shuying, you can stop if you want but you have to promise me one thing.


    Don''t go overboard in cultivation no matter how badly you want to improve your cultivation base", Zhan Chen spoke.


    "Ok, I promise", Chi Shuying nodded her head and sat to cultivate. Zhan Chen observed her for a moment before leaving towards the cente of the Soul ind.


    The pressure increased gradually, the deeper he went into the soul ind. Finally, a point came where even an emperor couldn''t handle the pressure of the soul ind.


    "It is getting interesting", he thought to himself and stepped ahead. The pressure increased multifold but It was still not enough to scare him away.


    "What is the source for all these soul essence? I must delve deeper to see what is actually inside this Soul ind", he thought to himself.


    He walked forward in the endless mist before a peculiarity attracted his attention. He stopped in his path because there was a hint of dangering from the forward location.


    Zhan Chen released his soul consciousness cautiously and observed his surrounding. A frown appeared on his face as he examined his surrounding more closely.


    "What a brilliant formation!", he eximed softly and stepped inside. The mist started to thicken further as he stepped forward into the formation.


    ''This area suits my need but it is a pity that I can''t enhance my soul level even if I want. The cultivation limit of the current world is sage level. I may face a bacsh if I try to enhance my soul level without increasing my cultivation base '', he thought to himself.


    ''But I can still use the soul essence as it would be required for creating a pseudo soul. The more pseudo souls I have, the better my chance against an enemy will be", he thought further.


    He was still looking for the source of soul essence when he felt a palpitating fear grappling his heart. He becamepletely cautious and examined his surrounding throughly with his soul consciousness.


    "Such a sinister formation!", Zhan Chen eximed as a grim look appeared on his face. It was ayered formation infront of him where a killing formation was hiding beneath the veil of a bewildering formation.


    "Should I enter or not", a look of indecision appeared on his face. He thought for a while and finally a decisive look appeared on his face.


    "It is not the time to undone a formation. Moreover, doing so may alert the experts of the Spirit pce", he thought to himself.

    The area behind the killing formation was an area with a clear sky. Zhan Chen would have feel surprised because the clear sky was a profound formation beyond his knowledge.


    The nket of white mist was nowhere to be seen as there was a small pond in the innermost part of the Soul ind.


    A stone boulder was lying next to the small pond and azy looking lion was lying on the stone boulder. It opened its eyes when Zhan Chen approached the killing formation inside the bewildering formation.


    "This brat most be tired of living", it murmured in a human likenguage before opening it''s other eye. A human like curiousity appeared on it''s face as it observed the deeds of Zhan Chen outside the killing formation.


    Zhan Chen took a while toe out of indecision. He finally decided to halt his search and sat down to cultivate. What he didn''t know was that he disappointed a lion who was nning to witness an amusing event.


    "What a keen sense! To notice the presence of Saint killing formation, it is not a simple acheivement by a junior", it thought to itself. It dropped the idea of going back to sleep and observed Zhan Chen with it''s soul consciousness.


    Zhan Chen didn''t know that someone was peeking at him. Otherwise, he would not have cultivated so close to the killing formation.


    An unending stream stream of soul essence poured into his body as he gathered them into forming a pseudo soul. He used a tiny portion of his main soul as the base and moulded a pseudo soul for hister use.


    The pseudo soul had many uses. It could be used during the pill concoction or it could be used tounch a sneak attack on a powerful enemy.


    His main soul was already at the peak of sage realm. So, his pseudo soul were also of same strength as a full blown attack with his pseudo souls may even kill an early stage sage realm expert.


    Zhan Chen thought it would be impossible to cultivate a pseudo soul because it was extremely difficult to gather soul essence for a sage realm expert.


    But this limitation of the sages became redundant when he came across the Soul ind of the Spirit pce. Zhan Chen absorbed an unending stream of soul essence as his first pseudo soul moved towards achieving perfection.


    He moulded it properly before separating another tiny strand and preparing the base for his second pseudo soul. Timepsed as usual and Zhan Chen stopped after creating three pseudo souls ina stretch. He decided to rest for a while before creating few more pseudo souls for his future use.


    While Zhan Chen was taking some rest, thezy looking lion finally let out a shy of relief. "This brat, what kind of monster he is?", it muttered with a look of disbelief on it''s eyes.


    When the lion thought Zhan Chen had reached his limit, Zhan Chen started to cultivate once again. He absorbed another wave of soul essence as his pseudo souls started to increase in numbers.
