"What a marvel!", Zhan Chen murmured to himself after he checked the simple looking three storied ancestoral pce of Cleansing Incense ancient sect with his soul consciousness.


    No one was looking at Zhan Chen at this moment. So, none of the Shen n experts noticed the change in expression of his face.


    Zhan Chen followed after Shen n experts and entered the ancestoral pce of Cleansing Incense ancient sect. The surrounding inside the ground floor was morous as most of the cultivators from different ces had gathered here.


    "Look, Is not it that group who killed the experts of Lu family!", one cultivator pointed out.


    "Shh!, do you want to die?", another cultivator hurriedly stopped hispanion who was pointing at the Shen n experts.


    The cultivatator who was pointing at Shen n experts didn''t understand what was going on but he stopped himself after he faced the angry res of hispanions.


    Shen n experts noticed those smallmotions but they ignored the surprised look of other cultivators. They followed after Shen Ruyan and walked towards a corner.


    "Wu Yan, do you want to die?", the cultivator who stopped hispanion from pointing at Shen n experts looked towards hispanion furiously.


    The cultivator named Wu Yan was at a loss after looking at the angry looking faces of hispanions.


    "Everyone, what is wrong?", Wu Yan looked towards hispanions with a confused look on his face. Apanion of his came forward and muttered something in the ears of Wu Yan.


    "They do not fear Lu family. Moreover, I have heard that none of the Lu family experts and the other experts who were helping them are spared. What do you think will happen to you if you anger them by chance", thepanion of Wu Yan muttered.


    The face of Wu Yan changed after he heard the muttering of hispanion and he looked towards the Shen n group with a fearful look on his face.

    No one dare bother the Shen n group with their ferocious reputation. All of them followed behind Shen Ruyan and gathered at an empty corner of ground floor. Li Han threw a look and the nearby cultivators hurriedly scattered to give some space to the Shen n experts.


    Zhan Chen noticed some gazes at him from the crowd and most of them were present while he was battling the Lu family experts. A young man who was not yet eighteen, capable of battling fifth stage experts, it was definitely a huge news for the uing Grand sectpetition.


    Zhan Chen didn''t mind the sneaky looks of other experts at him. He was currently scanning the entire ground floor with his soul consciousness.


    "Fortunately, there is no sixth stage experts", Zhan Chen sighed in relief and withdrew his soul consciousness. Despite his recovered soul strength, he was not yet ready to face those sixth stage experts.

    He was in no hurry to check the paintings hung on the wall. So, he stood quitely with the Shen n experts.


    It didn''t take time for the Shen n experts to gather the information about the ground floor. Shen Ruyan listened to all the details from Shen n experts and turned to look towards Zhan Chen.


    "Seems like there is no danger in the ground floor", Shen Ruyan spoke. "It seems so", Zhan Chen nodded his head.


    "Everyone, scatter. It will be your fortune if you manage to get an inheritance for yourself", Shen Ruyan spoke. The Shen n experts bowed lightly towards Shen Ruyan and left towards the different direction of the ground floor.


    Zhan Chen smiled towards Shen Ruyan and left towards a random direction. He had already checked all the paintings with his soul consciousness. There was not a single painting which had piqued his interest.


    But no matter whether he interested or not, Zhan Chen knew he had a choose a painting for himself. Because without choosing a painting, he couldn''t ascend the other two floors of the ancestoral pce.


    He had already observed the ground floor of ancestoral building in details. Every nook and corner of the building was filled with traces of ancient formations.


    He could identify some of the inscribed formations but there were many other formations that he had not seen in his previous life.


    "To find the true inheritance of the Cleansing Insense ancient sect, I must find a painting rted to formation technique", Zhan Chen thought to himself.


    Zhan Chen threw a look towards Shen Ruyan who was walking with Liu Nanxi. Liu Nanxi still had her cold face on and walking behind Shen Ruyan as if she was Shen Ruyan''s shadow.


    Both Shen Ruyan and Liu Nanxi had curious looking faces as they examined the ancient paintings one by one. Zhan Chen''s soul consciousness lingered on both of them for a while. Then he walkedtowards the western part of the ground floor.


    The crowd was sparse in the western end of the ground floorpared to the other directions of the floor. The reason was simple. It was due to the techniques described in the paintings of the western wall were tooplex for the most of the cultivators.


    The paintings were for everyone to see but it didn''t mean that anyone could observe the true technique described in the paining. It was only those talented cultivators who had an affinity with the technique could earn an opportunity to learn the depicted technique.


    When a cultivator found an painting which he had an affinity with, he was transported to an unknown location along with the said painting. Zhan Chen found this process magical and he became more determined to learn the formation techniques of the Cleansing Insense ancient sect.


    The paintings of the western wall wereprised of formation techniques and tailsman techniques. Zhan Chen was interested to learn both tailsman technique and formation technique but his knowledge about the art of tailsman making was limited.


    So, he reluctantly gave up on tailsman techniques and turned his eyes towards formation paintings.

    Zhan Chen identified some of the formations on the paintings but there were also paintings about which he didn''t have any single clue.


    To receive the true inheritance, he must prove his ability. Zhan Chen was aware of this fact. So, he decided to choose at least a higher grade formation.


    There were so many formation techniques inscribed on the paintings Of the wall. But, Zhan Chen knew that if he choose any random average formation, then there was the possibility that he may not be choosen for the true inheritance of Cleansing Incense ancient sect.
