Chapter 221: Did he lie?


    "Good," Tang Yichen uttered a single word, praising the man for his persistence. The people who would not go against their morals in the toughest times are rare. It was an undeniable fact that Mr. Huang was an obstinate egotistical man, it could be sensed by the way he added the term ''mere'' in front of models.


    Maybe some people do note as just ck or white, they exist as grey. Despite everything, Tang Yichen appreciated the man who valued his principles more than anything else. There were not many people who could act that way.


    Mr. Huang was stunned. Good? That''s it?


    "It''s not your fault," Tang Yichen spoke up, his thin lips pinched together in a line before he continued, "But your assistant should check the emails more often," his gazended on the man standing behind the photographer.


    Mr. Huang confusedly looked at his assistant who immediately checked his phone with shaking his hands. As he came across the email sent a few hours ago, his face turned pale.


    "You..I''ll deal with youter," Mr. Huang was speechless as he looked at the email. It was clearly stated that the photoshoot was postponed by a few hours due to some issues. Here he was ming the models for being irresponsible when his own assistant was like this. He nearly died because of the man''s foolishness.


    The man turned around to look at Tang Yichen. Luckily, he was not stripped of his position in the entertainment industry even after such a grave mistake on his part.


    "President Tang. I apologize to you for everything that urred, it was all my fault.."


    "Don''t dwell on it," Tang Yichen interrupted the man. He was in an extremely nice mood after spending some quality time with Mo Jiast night... cough... evening so he wanted to cherish that happy feeling a little longer rather than getting himself riled up with these trivial issues.


    The photographer, unaware of the man''s inner thoughts, grinned. It looks like President Tang had a good impression of him. Recalling something, he opened his mouth to ask, "That...The other male model and the female model aren''t here yet."


    Tang Yichen tilted his head slightly, "Both the models are supposed to do a solo shoot for men''s line products cover first, isn''t it?"


    "Yes.."


    "That''s good," The man nodded his head before continuing, "He has reached the location."


    Mr. Huang nodded his head without asking any further questions. Since President Tang did not mention the female model, it only meant she will be there on time.


    Tang Yichen pursed his lips as his fingers raked through his hair, a habit he has adopted recently. He had two meetings lined up in the morning which is why he decided to postpone the shoot. He thought he would have to coax Mo Yuhan for it but it was like a wonder when the man readily epted the change without any objections.


    Mo Yuhan, on the other hand, had his reasons for which he epted the changes without much of a hesitation and Tang Yichen was unaware of that.


    It was the first time that Mo Yuhan was so rough with Tang Li, to the point that her whole body felt numb like never before. Maybe he vented out all his insecurities on her from the moment she said something like dying. Although she did notin, but his heart ached at the sight of her delicate self as she silentlyid on the bed, deep asleep, she looked so fragile. He felt guiltier the more she did notin.


    So, to make it up to her. President Mo rolled his sleeves up to prepare a sumptuous breakfast for her. Considering the photoshoot, he had decided to postpone it if Tang Li did not feel wellter as it cannot go on without her anyway.


    But she was adamant about going to the office to which he gave in reluctantly. Right when they were having breakfast, Tang Yichen informed him about the dy in the shoot to which he readily agreed since it would give her a small break at least.


    So, to Tang Yichen who was unaware of the series of events that urred in his sister''s life, it was certainly confusing as to why his brother-inw readily agreed to postpone the shoot without hesitation.


    The man shrugged it off at the thought of what happened in the Ultraviolets yesterday. His princess must be traumatized by the incident causing Mo Yuhan to spend some more time with her; it was something he concluded.


    The man snapped out of his thoughts as he looked around. The people present in the set had their heads lowered, there was a pin drop silence that nobody dared to break.


    Tang Yichen nced at his watch as his brows bumped together slightly. Mo Yuhan said it would take him five minutes to end the conference call then what caused him to be sote? As he recalled back the man''s solemn expression from earlier, his expressions morphed slightly. He did not think much about it back then, but now that he recalled it...Did he lie to him?


    The events from the past week whirled past his mind, from the attack on Mo Empire''s cybersecurity to the data breach of a small amount of data. The more his mind wandered off in that direction, the more his gaze darkened.


    "President Tang, how about we rece this model?" Mr. Huang gulped as he came forward to offer what he thought was a solution. Tang Yichen''s sudden dark expressions left him horrified. Since the man''s expression changed the moment he nced at his watch, the poor photographer came to the conclusion that he was dissatisfied with the model for beingte.


    There was nothing wrong with that though. Even he as the CEO of Blue Star has arrived over here sharp at time. So, it wouldn''t be strange if he got angry with the model for beingte. These thoughts raced around in Mr. Huang''s mind.


    Tang Yichen raised his head to look at the man but contrary to the ''Yes'' he expected from Tang Yichen''s mouth, what he asked was "Where would you find his recement?"

    First, I''m considering to put this book under Hiatus temporarily since some of you are thinking that it''s going off track. I''m trying my best but writer''s block is a tough enemy.


    Secondly, I''m about to upload my new work, a transmigration novel (although its cliche, I love such concepts). Consider it as a new year gift for you all!


    Updates maybe be irregr but I''ll never drop any of my book.
