He released threads of invisible soul power from his hand and these threads moved in the air and approached the Spiritual Root
Soon, the intact spirit nt was broken down into smaller bits. The invisible threads of soul power tore the spirit nt
This process was quite slow, slower than when Rezen was distilling themon vismian grass. The difficulty in distilling these two spirit nts is after all, vastly different. Putting more effort is required
Soon, with the maniption of the threads, the root vanished and only a drop of liquid remained. This drop contains both the pure essence of the spirit nt as well as its impurities
Rezen has now entered the most crucial stage. Since only the drop of essence remained, it is now the time to remove most of the impurities
While Rezen knew that it was impossible to remove all the impurities of the Spirit nt, removing 60% of it so that the essence will be at 60% purity is still within the realm of possibility

This task is hard and no alchemist can separate all of the pure essence and impurities. Even the strongest mage is not able to do so. There are bound to be impurities that will remain. Perhaps, only mythical Gods will be able to separate all the impurities from the pure essence
Bits and bits of impurities were slowly being separated from the pure essence and the liquid drop became smaller and smaller but at the same time, its potency was increasing. The more impurities are removed, the more potent the resulting potion would be!

Removing 50% of the Spiritual Root''s impurities can be said to be a task that is quite easy to moderate for the current Rezen. However, starting from 51%, removing more impurities became much harder than before
Rezen narrowed his eyes and he increased his control over his threads. His precision clearly improved and more impurities are being removed

At this point, Rezen was already gritting his teeth. More than 50% of the essence''s impurities are already removed and what was left was the stubborn ones that are tightly clinging to the essence

While swallowing a mouthful of saliva, Rezen slowly turned his head at Alchemist Fuchk who was grinning at him evilly
Before Rezen knew it, a small pile of Spiritual Root already appeared on his station and he had a bad feeling about this
"Distill all of these Spiritual Roots. Their purity shouldn''t be lower than 60% if you don''t want to have a dog fuck your asshole for eternity" Fuchk said evilly and Rezen was about to protest when cold sweat covered his body
He slowly lowered his head in difficulty and what he saw frightened him. Below him were dark and malicious evil spirits
They look like humanoid ghosts that came straight out of a horror book. The female ghosts have long hair, pale faces, red lips, and a pair of malicious eyes. The make ghosts have shorter hair, pale faces, ck lips, and eyes that arepletely ck in color. Their appearance can easily cause people''s hair to stand
With the impression that Alchemist Fuchk gave to him, Rezen even felt like these malicious evil spirits were the souls of the alchemists who died because of Fuchk. They might be alchemists that he killed himself or the ones thatmitted suicide because of his abuse
This is the first time that Rezen experienced such a thing. He was used to seeing mages using elemental-type of magic and this was his first time encountering this kind of magic
Although Rezen doesn''t have proof that the appearance of these evil spirits is because of magic but it doesn''t need a genius toe to this conclusion
In this world, all supernatural phenomena are the result of magic whether that be magic came from a mage or because of a special environment
Rezen instinctively knows that he doesn''t have the ability to resist in the slightest and while resisting the urge to scream like a horrified kid, he can only force a smile while being tactful
"I-I understand" Rezen said with a shudder. The appearance of the evil spirits brought extreme chills down to his bones both in a physical and emotional sense
As soon as he said that, the evil spirits vanished and Fuchk gave him a bright smile
"Go, my ve. Do your fucking job" the shameless alchemist said before ignoring Rezen that felt the pitying gaze of the other alchemist around

Due to the number of the Spiritual Root, Rezen only finished distilling themte at night and it was only possible because of the Spirit Rejuvenating Potion that he was free to use
However, even with the potion, he still felt a great sense of exhaustion. This was not something that the potion could relieve. After all, repeated exhaustion and replenishment of soul power was indeed taxing

"Read these books and if you have any questions, we have 1 hour of discussion every after shift and you can ask your questions" the alchemist said before waving his hand, and antern with an orange me inside flew andnded on top of the books
"That is antern containing a wisp of the me of Dawn. That is an alchemical fire that is great at removing impurities. It will greatly enhance the speed of your distition. Of course, this me can only be used to speed up the process, the quality will still depend on the alchemists themselves"
"Since this is just a wisp, it willst for at most a month. Once it dies and I see that your performance is great, I will give you another one to aid your path in alchemy"
The calm and gentle tone of Alchemist Fuchk causes Rezen to blink his eyes repeatedly. Is this still the same fucker that he knew and forced him to work from morning tote this night?
