Sensing that something was wrong, Stone Head moved forward, intending to attack Titane before he could harm anyone


    However, before Stone Head could seed, long and slender pointy spikes of metal suddenly grew all over Titane''s body


    At this point, Titane''s eyes werepletely bloodshot and his veins popped as if they would explode any moment from now


    His body continued to leak mana tainted with blood-red color while his strength grew exponentially


    Based on the aura that Titane releases, he is now a Junior Mage in the 3rd cycle!


    For every cycle, a mage''s strength would generally grow 50%. As such, the higher the cycle, the more powerful mages are against those that have a lower rank than them


    If a 1st cycle mage has a power value of 1000 then those in the 2nd cycle have 1,500. As for those in the 3rd cycle, they have a power value of 2,250. That''s arge difference!


    Now that Titane is a mage at the 3rd cycle of the Junior Rank, he has the power to threaten eight Junior Mages considering that only two of them were in the 2nd cycle


    "DIE! DIE! DIE!" Titane shouted like a broken radio and the long spikes of metal that grew out of his body shot out to attack the people that murdered his family


    Stone Head with the boost of his spell punched and kick the metal spikes that went to attack him. Weaver uses her vines to break the spikes while Left Wind uses the rotating winds on her hands to shred the metal


    However, the power of the berserk Titane was more than twice the power of your normal 1st cycle mages


    In the end, the three were defeated. They were not fast or strong enough to break all the long metal spikes


    "Ahhkk!!"


    The three of them were prated by the metal spikes on at least three areas of their bodies


    Their blood dyed the gray metal with a red color as pain engulfed their senses


    The three 1st cycle Junior Mages were at the mercy of their opponent. The only one that was in a better situation from the three of them was Stone Head as he is a mage that uses a magic spell


    Despite the injuries he sustained, Stone Head still uses his bare hands to crush the metal spikes that prate his body. However, even if he were to crush one or two of them, more metal spikes would move against him


    "This fucker, what did he eat to suddenly grow this strong?!" maz cursed. mes gathered at both of his palms before he put his palms together


    "Haaaa!!" maz is a 2nd cycle Junior Mage but he hasn''t grasped a magic spell and he could only use simple magic


    Even then, as a mage at the 2nd cycle, he is still strong and he shoots out a zing torrent of mes toward Titane


    The Chief also once again casts her [Spicule Orb] targeting the only remaining opponent that they have while Right Wind sent out des of winds


    Rockim and Burning Fist are mages that focus on closebat but that doesn''t mean that they cannot use range attacks. It''s just that using their bodies to attack would result in greater powerpared to attacking from a distance


    However, it seems like they were very wary of the berserk Titane and they resorted to using range magic


    Rockim mmed his foot on the ground, cracking it and the rubbles floated. With his control, the rubbles were sent flying to Titane while Burning Fist condensed balls of fire to send to the same target


    The attack from five mages especially the ones from the two 2nd cycle mages forces the berserk Titane to focus his attention on them


    More long spikes of metal grew from his body and they moved in a single area to act as a shield


    Thebination of these magic destroyed one metal spike after another but while they managed to destroy Titane''s defenses, they were unable to harm him in the slightest


    Still, this gave Stone Head and the others a chance to break free from their current predicament as they used their magic to break the spikes on their bodies


    However, a mage in the 3rd cycle is really different. Despite receiving the attack of five mages, he still managed to kill Left Wind


    Stone Head seeded in breaking the spikes and he retreated, the same was true for Weaver. But the unfortunate Left Wind wasn''t and more metal spikes prated her that resulted in her death


    "Ah! No! Left Wind!" Right Wind shouted as she shed tears after witnessing the death of her tribesman


    "Don''t! We must stay together and raise our defenses!" Chief said in a panic as she called the others


    With the strength of a 3rd cycle mage, Titane could kill them one by one as if he was picking fruits. Only if they join hands and stay together would they have a chance of winning<novelnext></novelnext>


    "The situation has be really dangerous!" Rezen thought as he shuddered. If he were to be targeted by Titane, the result could only be death and he ran as fast as possible


    After a few moments, everyone gathered near Chief as they faced the berserk Titane


    "Attack together!" The Chief shouted, naturally takingmand of the remaining Junior Mages


    Everyone only used long-range magic. They are afraid of getting closer to Titane as if that would result in death


    Magic from different elements flew in the air that attacked Titane that was in mid-air


    The long spikes on his body were moving as if they were his feet as he approach Chief and the others


    Facing thebined attacks of seven Junior Mages, Titane controlled his metal spikes and they shattered one by one to the point that he even suffered injuries as he bled


    If he could barely defend against the attacks of five Junior Mages then seven of them was a different story!


    While it still was not enough to kill him, the power was enough to injure him. If this goes on then even though he was stronger than any of them, Titane would still die since seven enemies are working together


    "I TOLD YOU ALL TO DIE!!!" Titane said angrily and the long metal spikes that already regenerated that has be his legs and feet moved even faster than before


    "Not good!" Burning Fist uttered and everyone threw out their magic once more to break the metal spikes that seems like the personification of death


    But even though seven of them were cooperating, the Junior Mages still suffered another casualty


    Rockim of the Earth Wrath Tribe was not able to resist and several spikes prated his body, turning him into a human porcupine


    The others were only in a slightly better situation as they too received varying levels of injuries


    They didn''t die but the metal spikes still poked their bodies, they were just fast enough to move away or strong enough to crush the metal spikes before they fully died


    "Coughed!"


    While the remaining six Junior Mages were retreating, Stone Head heard a familiar voice. He saw the Chief of his tribe coughing


    The Chief''s cough was apanied by blood. While she was still stronger than the others, in the end, she is still old


    Now that she sustained injuries in her old age, her body can''t help but slowly break down


    "Chief!" Stone Head called out worriedly. The Waterside Tribe cannot afford to lose another Junior Mage!


    Not to mention, Chief is the only 2nd cycle mage of the tribe and she also knows how to cast a magic spell


    The tribe cannot afford to lose her


    "I-I''m fine!" Chief said as she continue to retreat but due to her old age, she was slower than the others and yet another one of the rampaging metal spikes hit her


    The only fortunate thing was that her battle reflex was still there and instead of prating her heart, the metal spike only skewered her left arm


    "N-no!" Stone Head uttered in despair. His blood boiled as he imagined the scene of Chief''s dead


    He cannot let that happen and his vision turned red


    Stone Head''s mana was stirred and they leaked out of his body too just like Titane but there was a difference between the two


    Titane''s leaking mana was very aggressive as if it doesn''t want anything but to rampage but Stone Head''s mana was different


    On the outside, it seemed like his mana was also on a rampage as it was destroying his body but every Junior Mage knew what was exactly happening


    "Wow, this fucker is actually breaking through in the middle of a fight?! That''s insane!" mazmented while wiping the blood on the side of his lips


    Indeed, Stone Head''s mana that was destroying his physical body was not simply on a blind rampage. This is the process of breaking through the next rank for Junior Mages!
