    Not a single person from the crowd tried to disrespect a mage that could literally erase an entire country. All of them bowed their heads in respect as they greeted him


    “Hmm” the Space Monarch nodded his head and with a wave of his hand, the space moved ording to his will


    The contestants that ‘survived’ were separated from the rest of the crowd and the old man smiled at them


    Out of the thousands of contestants that came here for the tournament, less than a thousand of them remains


    The Space Monarch’s arrival itself is already a test to cut the weeds from the flowers


    More than half of the contestants were disqualified. After all, it’s not like the Space Monarch could have them fight each other one by one and slowly eliminate them. That would take a really long time


    The final part of the tournament itself is a one-on-one battle between the contestants but there is a need to trim down their numbers first


    “All of you are the future of our Eastern Country and I have high hopes for all of you”


    “I know that no one wants to listen to a long speech from an old man so we’ll not do that just like in the previous times”


    The Space Monarch chuckled while speaking. Out of all the 7th rank mages, he was the most amiable


    Others would disdain to look at the mortals but not him. That’s why out of all the 7th rank mages of the country, Space Monarch was the most well-known and liked. Of course, another reason was his Tournament that offered great prizes to the winner


    Rezen that was among the crowd stared at the Space Monarch while clenching his fist. He was once again reminded of just how unbelievably strong 7th rank mages are but not only does he have to reach that rank, he also has to exceed it!


    Even the mages from various big forces were unable to do anything as the Space Monarch attacked the contestants. They are simply just on a whole new level!


    “This year, the first round would be this”


    With a click of the Space Monarch’s fingers, almost a thousand strange balls appeared


    These balls’ materials were unknown but what they have inside was different. Some seem to hold an entire ocean, some seem to have at least a thousand volcano, some has thick clouds with lightning shing regrly and many more


    It was as if these balls held a world of their own


    “Aside from great reflex and the ability to protect oneself without any prior notice, a mage also needed luck, great luck”


    “Luck might be intangible but it could make a big difference. What we have here are small spaces that I captured over time”


    “Each space has different geography. Some are easier than the others while some are harder”


    “What you have to do is to survive inside the space while taking these gold coins”


    The Space Monarch raised his hand and a gold coin appeared. The gold coin has the symbol of a four-leaf clover on it


    “Only the top hundred contestants could proceed. As such, you have to take as many gold coins as you could. And oh, while each dimension is separated after all the gold coins inside a dimension were collected, it would be connected to another dimension with another contestant! Good luck!”


    With that, the contestants found themselves entering the small balls whether they like it or not

    Inside one of the small dimensions, countless small floatingnd masses could be seen


    Thesend masses range from the size of a single square meter to four square meters. If that wasn’t enough, this space was even covered with fog that is thin in some areas and thick in the others


    The space in the small dimension suddenly twisted and from it, a human figure came out. This human figure belonged to none other than Rezen


    As soon as he appeared, the first thing he does was to summon all of his Mystic Gems and activate his Mystic Tattoos


    His eyes scanned his surroundings for any danger before a frown formed on his face


    As he is still a 4th fusion rank mage and a 5th rank Tattoo Warrior, fighting in the air would be disadvantageous to him


    While he could fight an aerial battle, it was still easier to fight onnd. He is still not at the 6th rank that can freely fly in the air


    If Rezen encounters an enemy with great flying skill in this dimension, he might find it hard to fight


    However, since he cannot change the dimension he wouldnd on, he could only move fast to obtain as many gold coins as possible


    “[Spirit Wind Helper!]”


    Rezen uses his wind-type mystic gem as he created ten small spirit-like entities. These spirits are of great help to Rezen’s farm work and since they also have limited intelligence, if it’s something as simple as finding gold coins they definitely could do it


    The spirits went in different directions to search and take back the gold coins. Rezen himself also moved from one ‘floating ind’ to another


    This is just the dimension that he was sent into and Space Monarch clearly said that after collecting all the gold coins, the dimension would be connected to another dimension


    Only a hundred contestants with the most gold coins could proceed. Rezen has to move fast and connect to another dimension to obtain more gold coins


    With Rezen’s physique, it was not a problem for him to move from one ind to another. Not all inds contain a gold coin or gold coins on them but every time that Rezen found one, he would immediately take it until…


    Hiss! Hiss!


    Rezen looked at his side to see a ming Wing Centipede, a magic beast. The ming Wind Centipede has a long purplish body covered in a hard carapace. It has pincer-like things in front of its mouth and a pair of wings entirely created entirely from fire


    This ming Wing Centipede is only at the 4th rank and Rezen stared at it coldly


    “[Sun Stream!]”


    Rezen sent a simple stream spell of the sun element. Since he is already a 5th rank Tattoo Warrior thanks to the resources from Kacy that he consumed, even his spells have the power of a 5th-grade spell thanks to the blessing of [Link]


    Not to mention, even amongst spells in the 5th grade, the spells of Rezen were better than most


    A Tattoo Warrior in terms of raw power is greater than a Mage!


    The stream of sunlightnded on the centipede’s body, easily poking arge hole in its body


    Rezen ignored the centipede after killing it as he continued on his way to gather more gold coins


    However, in just a short period of time, he encountered more me Wing Centipedes, this time, there were two of them at once


    Thinking that they were a nuisance, Rezen simply waved his hand and sent beams of elemental energies toward the centipedes, killing both of them


    Once again, Rezen continued moving from one floating ind to another. The spirits also returned and gave him the gold coins that they got before they flew away to search for more gold coins


    However, shortly after killing two centipedes, Rezen encountered more. This time, there were four of them


    This situation causes Rezen to raise his eyebrows. He thought of something as he disposed of these four centipedes


    With his current power, even if there were tens of magic beasts at the 4th rank, he could dispose of them easily. What more if there were only four of them?

    It seems like the more centipedes Rezen killed, the more of them would appear. Their numbers would be doubled


    At the earlier stage, it was easy to defeat these centipedes but if their numbers continue to increase…


    Rezen’s eyes shed as he stretched his hand out and a ck magic circle formed in front of his palm

    From the magic circle that Rezen created, multiple ck hands came out and held the centipedes, stopping them from reaching him


    After that, Rezen decided not to kill the centipedes but to just move to other inds to collect more gold coins


    Since killing the centipedes would cause them to double in number, Rezen decided to just seal them temporarily


    He hopes that this tactic would work but after some time, the centipedes’ bodies were suddenly attracted to each other and they fused into one centipede


    However, this centipede is not at the 4th rank anymore. It is now a magic beast that has the power of a 5th rank beast
