    Whether it be Shadow Snake or Space Monarch, both of them were about to retreat knowing that they couldn’t beat the other without using their real power. But before they can do so, their otherworldly senses let them pick up the strange thing that happened in Greenwood City


    Their eyes pierced throughyers andyers of space and they saw the spectacle that ude created


    “This… thews were in harmony…” Space Monarch muttered, a frown forming on his face


    He can’t quite exin nor understand what was happening in Greenwood City aside from the fact that it was ‘abnormal’


    Thews of their world are ‘broken’ and ‘exhausted’. That brought terrifying consequences to earth’s citizens that only a few people are aware of


    Only when a mage reaches the 7th rank would they understand just what it means for thews to be broken


    However, right now, thews in the entirety of Greenwood City seem to be in harmony. Thews were not ‘fixed’ but they gave off a feeling of harmony


    As for what that harmony brought, even a 7th rank mage couldn’t understand


    Compared to Space Monarch that was immersed in the harmony ofws, Shadow Snake waspletely different


    He watched as the forces of Twighlight Beast in Greenwood City were being massacred effortlessly


    The survivors don’t even have to lift a finger, just a single ude Preston alone is enough to exterminate all the enemies


    It was to the point that they cannot help but feel like even if the other 6th fusion rank mages of Twighlight Beast are still alive, they too would suffer the fate of death


    “How can a newly advanced 6th fusion rank mage have this level of power?!” Shadow Snake raged and he moved, about to annihte the troublesome variable that suddenly appeared when…


    “Shadow Snake, are you going to break the rules?” Space Monarch that intercepted Shadow Snake asked with a sneer


    When he was about to help Greenwood City earlier, he was blocked by Shadow Snake causing him to be helpless


    But now, the situation waspletely reversed. How can he not be happy?


    “Your Greenwood City is cheating. ude Preston shouldn’t be there” Shadow Snake argued


    Since out of all the ‘mortal mages’, it was only ude that showed enough talent to be a 7th rank mage, they can naturally recognize him with just one look


    ude was a deadly variable that shouldn’t have been allowed to exist!


    “As you can see, our Eastern Country didn’t dispatch him. He exited from an ownerless Blessed Land and coincidentally entered Greenwood City. This is not considered as the Eastern Country sending reinforcements. If you really want to break the rules then…”


    Hearing that, Shadow Snake’s countenance hidden behind the power that shrouded his face turned grim


    He knew that ‘reason’ is in the hands of Eastern Country. Space Monarch might not know everything but Shadow Snake is different


    He was in the dark, helping the Twighlight Beast to take Greenwood City down


    He knew of ude’s sneak attack and also the fact that he identally entered an ownerless Blessed Land


    These are things that Space Monarch can easily know and if he uses them to justify ude’s appearance then he would win


    “Damn it… the Serpentine Empress will kill me!” Shadow Snake shuddered from that thought as he vanished. He didn’t dare attack ude and with that bastard’sst-minute appearance, Greenwood City is saved!

    With the spell [Yin-Yang World], the survivors immediately recovered including Rezen’s subordinates


    “Master!”


    “Sir Rezen!”


    The eleven artificial humans, Keito, and the guards from the Preston Family’s first reaction was to check on Rezen as soon as they recovered their consciousness and remembered what happened


    “Go back to the farm” Rezen simply ordered, his hand holding the Yin-Yang Mirror to his chest


    Although his parents weren’t saved and he has to constantly sacrifice souls to keep his parents’ souls, this was already a better oue than losing his parents forever


    Rezen’s orders were absolute and seeing that there were no more enemies remaining, his subordinates heaved a sigh of relief


    They are aware of what happened to Rezen’s parents and they decided to give him personal space


    As such, Rezen’s figure can be seen traversing the world of wreckage around him


    The road was absolutely inconvenient to travel on because of the broken concretes, corpses, and other debris


    Still, this kind of terrain only hindered Rezen a bit as he slowly walks


    The events of today felt like something that happened for decades. It wouldn’t be easy to recover anytime soon. And the scene of his parents’ death would forever haunt him


    Their deaths were very gruesome. His father directly exploded into small pieces of organic matter while the snake that hide inside him exploded into poisonous green mist


    The poison killed his mother directly and even after she died, the falling ceiling still crushed her lower body


    Not to mention, thest attack from Space Fox even destroyed what remained of his mother and father’s body


    Their deaths werepletely inhuman and Rezen’s heart right now ispletely filled with hatred


    This hatred would never be gone and could only be somehow cated with the deaths and destruction of the sinful Twighlight Beast!


    [Host… cheer up, once you grow strong enough, there would definitely be ways to save your parents!] the system said causing Rezen’s movement to halt


    His system has really changed, it even started to converse with him on its own ord


    “Hmm… thank you” Rezen replied. As long as there is hope, he would continue to struggle no matter how long it would take


    Rezen continue walking slowly, not once did he let go of the Yin-Yang mirror in his hand


    It was as if he wanted to engrave the current image of Greenwood City into the deepest parts of his soul. A reminder of what would happen if a person is weak

    Rezen suddenly stopped walking. His eyes staring at one of the random corpses that littered the earth


    “Pierre?” Rezen muttered, remembering the lively and a bit shameless soldier that he met before


    When he fought with the grey wolves with the help of the soldiers, Pierre is the one he was the closest with


    Even prior to this, they stillmunicate sometimes. But now, such a sunny person is already dead


    Rezen could only see the man’s upper body, from his waist and below, all werepletely missing


    Deaths like that weremon in this terrorist attack


    Rezen walked toward the corpse of Pierre and he helped close the man’s eyes. He still has a look of fear and dread even after his death. A testimony of the horrible fate that he suffered


    After that, Rezen continued on his way and he met yet another familiar face


    “Dad! N-no! You couldn’t be dead! No! D-don’t do this to me!”


    On the side of the corpse of a middle-aged man was a youth simr to Rezen in age. This pair of father and son was his previous customers; Maze and Fierce Fire


    While Maze survived probably because his father sacrificed his life for him, Fierce Fire on the other hand died


    Kids or young adults mourning the deaths of their parents weremonly seen in the current Greenwood City. Maze and even Rezen are just one of the thousands of simr cases


    ude might have healed the injured with his spell but he is not an omnipotent god that could resurrect even the dead


    Rezen walked until he reached a few meters away from Maze before he spoke. “If you are done grieving and you thirst for power and revenge,e find me”


    He left those words to the grieving young man before he continued


    His feet brought him to a familiar ce. It was the small shop of his friend’s family but right now, the shop is no more


    It has turned into a pile of rubbish including the spirit nts inside


    “Uwaaa!!!!!”


    A cry filled with pain echoed. A young man kneeled in front of the corpses of his parents


    Compared to Rezen’s parents that didn’t leave a corpse, Neil’s parents were in a better condition. They were simply crushed by the ceiling of their shop that copses


    However… death is death and even the legendary 7th rank mages cannot bring the dead back to life


    Those that died with an intact corpse and those that died with not even a single bone that remains, is there really any difference?


    Both sides are dead and no one in this world could bring them back to life. While Rezen has the Yin-Yang Mirror, it could only be activated once and it was already used on his parents


    Whether it be Pierre, Fierce Fire, or Neil’s parents, Rezen couldn’t preserve their souls unless he has another pair of Yin-Yang Mirror


    “Neil… my doors will always be open for you. We will avenge our loved ones soon” Rezen said before leaving


    His words although entered Neil’s ears were not enough to save the young man from grief
