Rezen summoned his sun-type mystic gem and he condensed three magic circles all around him
Those magic circles released two sts of condensed sunlight each. Their explosion killed tens of sparrows due to how close each of the sparrows was
The resulting st also affected Rezen. His [Earth God’s Armor] was sted, sending shrapnels of rock in all direction
His moist and perfectly glowing skin was also burnt and the explosion made him look really hideous
However, that onlysted for a moment as the moment that his recovery pill took effect, all of his injuries vanished as if they weren’t there in the first ce
Yet more crows have died and right now, only five of them remained. Each death was akin to a stab in Rezen’s heart and he gritted his teeth
The sparrows flocked around him and various wind magic targeted him. Some were intercepted by the crows but with the number of sparrows, how could they possibly win? They are being torn apart one by one
Rezen also did his best to cast spells but his body still received numerous wounds
He was only protecting his head right now. If his heart or other organs were punctured, his brain and mind would still function for a bit of time, giving him the chance to save himself by using recovery pills
But if his brain was smashed to death, how could he givemands?
“Think… think… think…” Rezen’s brain almost short-circuited while he thought of a way to save himself
He even scanned all the mutated crops that he had grown and bought with him
“Hmm?” Rezen’s eyes lit up as if a light of hope appeared on his vision
On his hand was a cherry. It looks exactly the same as normal cherries and nothing seems special about it but right now, this is the only thing that Rezen can think of that would help him with his current situation
Rezen threw the cherry on his hand and he doesn’t know whether it was because a sparrow uses its w to pierce through one of his eyes or what but he saw something really… weird
Rezen saw the cherry ‘opening’ its ‘eyes’. Based on its expression, the cherry seems to be furious, its body soon distorted and expanded
In no time, a strong st urred. This st covered at least five meters in range on the sides and height
Since the sparrows were flying really close to each other, tens of them died at the same time because of that explosion
Fortunately, Rezen’s crows that were cut down to three were not in the range
“So strong…” Rezen muttered in amazement while gripping the sparrow that attacked him on his eye
That shit hurts like hell but since Rezen has been attacked and injured multiple times in just a short span of time, the injury on his eye doesn’t feel particrly painful
He vented his anger by squeezing the sparrow to death while his eye healed
“Fuckers, I wouldn’t die today!” Rezen said happily as he ordered his crow to fly away
Rezen was in the st range of the cherry bomb earlier but he was left unscathed. He just doesn’t think that the same thing would be true for his crows and since there are only a few of them, Rezen don’t want any more of them to die
On his hand, a handful of cherries appeared and he threw them all around him

Explosions urred one by one and the surroundings were filled with crimson red color
Every second, a sparrow would fall down and die and every second, a new explosion would ur
“HAHAHAHAHA!” Rezenughed loudly, happy that not only would he not die, but he would also earn more than a thousand corpses. Also, he found out how special the cherry bombs were
The firepower of the cherry bombs was even more lethal than Rezen’s own firepower!
These bombs might have reached the strength of 4th fusion grade spells or it was at least near that
There is after all a dividing line between 3rd fusion rank mages and 4th fusion rank mages
If Rezen is reced by a 4th fusion rank mage, then the sparrows attacking him that were at most at the 3rd rank wouldn’t pose much of a threat to them

Inside the slums, Crafty Snake can be seen running desperately. On his arm was a piece of cloth that he uses to slow down his bleeding
Because of the amount of blood that he had lost, his face and lips are already pale. If this goes on, he might die
However, there is a reason why Crafty Snake was in a hurry and that is because of Rezen!
For him, there is at least a 99% of chance that Rezen would die in the hands of those sparrows but that would only happen if Rezen doesn’t have any background
As a spatial mage, there is a high chance that Rezen came from a strong force. And with how rare and important spatial mages are, they definitely wouldn’t be left alone without someone protecting them
If Rezen is from a powerful family then there would definitely be a mage that is protecting him from the shadows that would only step out the moment that he is close to dying
Generally, those mages would at least be at the 4th rank, with some even being assigned a 5th rank mage
If Rezen is alive… just thinking about it is enough to make Crafty Snake shudder in fright
Instead of hoping that Rezen would survive, Crafty Snake has to move to make sure that what he wants would happen
He entered the hideout of the Twighlight Beasts inside Greenwood City to meet someone
“Lord Keito!” Crafty Snake called out before kneeling on the ground while panting hard
In the Twighlight Beasts, there were numerous mages at the 3rd rank and below while the ones above that were rarer
Once a member reached the 4th rank, they would then be a ‘Lord’
That is what mages at the 4th rank and below are required to call them if the mage wishes to
Above the Lords are the Noble Lords which are at the 5th fusion rank. And above even the Noble Lords are the Imperial Lords, mages at the 6th fusion rank
Once a member breakthrough their limits and reach the legendary 7th rank, they would then be entirely different
It’s like they shake off their mortal identities to be people that are so lofty they don’t even show themselves to the mortals
Lord Keito is precisely Crafty Snake’s superior since everywhere a person goes, there would always be a hierarchy
A frown formed on Lord Keito’s face as he look at Crafty Snake
When they say that the Twighlight Beasts are vengeful, that isn’t an exaggeration
Once a member of them died, it must be reported to one’s superior and if that superior’s strength is enough then he should go and avenge their members
If not, then that superior has to report it to someone even more superior in position and power
The revenge is mandatory but of course, these superiors don’t like doing such a thing
They don’t really care about the majority of their subordinates and avenging them is a troublesome matter
If it was not mandatory, they would definitely not hear out their subordinates
Crafty Snake also knew this but displeasure is just displeasure. What he has to do is to report the matter to save his own skin
“Lord Keito, me and my subordinates were attacked! I am saddened to say that I am the only one that survived!”
Lord Keito sneered at that. He knew the reputation of this underling of him and he thought that Crafty Snake might have sacrificed his subordinates to save himself
Unfortunately, that was not the case. Even if Crafty Snake wants to do that, he can’t since all of his subordinates died at the same time before he can even think of using them as meatshields
“Give out any information that you have on you. I will avenge you and your subordinates when I am free” Lord Keito said in a disinterested tone
He would do it but definitely not now. Anyway, as long as the revenge wasn’t put on hold for a really long time, he wouldn’t face any trouble in the organization
“Thank you! Thank you, Lord Keito!” Crafty Snake acted as if he was fluttered to death, looking at his superior as if he was a God
However, inside him, he was cursing. He wants Rezen to die as soon as possible if he is alive
