After force-feeding the handsome guy, Rezen hurriedly pulled ude to force the man to stand before moving behind him as if he was using the Captain as his shield
“Brother ude, as you can see I am like an ant against godly beings like you and that General. Brother, you will save me, right? I don’t want to die a virgin!” Rezen said while patting his meat shield on the back

ude wanted to say that he is currently in a bad shape and he can’t even use a single spell but to his surprise, his body and soul were healing at a fast pace
The healing effect was extremely instantaneous that he even wondered if his injuries from before were just illusions
Even one of his arms that broke and was dangling earlier was restored back to normal
The most surprising one was the state of his soul though. It was as if ude didn’t use magic above his level earlier

“What did you feed me…” ude asked in extreme shock but Rezen just held his head and moved it to make ude look at Leon that was raising his eyebrow
“It’s just some vitamins, brother ude doesn’t need to mind it. We still have a bigger problem” Rezen simply said, afraid that he would get killed before he can even react
Rezen’s words woke ude from the extreme shock and he stared at the General
“Leon, if you want to fight or kill me, let’s do it in another ce. Don’t involve the civilians” ude said, his tone ice-cold but Leon just sneered
“I don’t care what happens to an ant but… I am interested in the treasure that he holds. How can it heal you that fast? If I were to offer the treasure to Her Majesty no doubt that she would reward me” Leon said with a chuckle
The way he looks at Rezen now is as if he was staring at a treasure trove and that causes the poor man to have goosebumps
“I-it’s just vitami—, ordinary recovery pills! It’s absolutely not a treasure!” Rezen ‘rified’ but not to mention Leon, even ude would not believe him
“How about this, you tell me what the treasure is, where I could get or make it then I might let you leave here alive?” Leon offered and Rezen internally groaned
Isn’t that a typical move? The person in power would say that if you give them what they want, you would survive but in the end, you would just be backstabbed
Rezen’s IQ is not low enough to believe that kind of lie. Even if he did, should he tell them that he has a system?

Why would he act heroically and stay here when he knew full well that he would be more of a hindrance than a help?
“If you dare to run away…” Leon said with a threatening tone. His fire and lion-type mystic gems flew in front of him, giving off a subtle light that feels particrly threatening
“A-ah… h-hahaha… w-who would run? I-I’ll stay… I’m absolutely not built for running hehehe” Rezen stays rooted in his ce before he can even start to run
He was shedding tears inside him. Just why does he have to be entangled in this mess?
“Leon…” ude said darkly, all of his mystic gems except for the curse-type gem floated around him

However, it seems like Leon’s priorities have changed

The value of Rezen’s treasure might even be higher than ude’s threat

“Do you think I have tons of them? I only had that one even if you check my void storage!” Rezen said, lying effortlessly as he threw his void storage
What a joke! He and ude are already at a disadvantage what more if Leon were to get a hold of his recovery pills?

He can feel it. This Leon definitely nned on killing him and ude in one fell swoop
ude might survive but Rezen will not!
Not to mention, from what way ude looks, he seems to be not confident about staying alive under the General’s might
“This wouldn’t do…” Rezen thought, racking his brains for a solution when he remembered something
“Wait!!!” He shouted and Leon that was about to attack stopped and looked at him
“I-I lied… the treasure… I know how to get them but I can’t pass it on to you b-but… look here…”
Rezen raised his hand and an apple appeared on his palm and Leon stared at him coldly
The traitor thought that Rezen has another void storage that he was hiding
“T-this apple… this is an apple that I got by luck! Don’t think that it was a normal apple, it’s a special apple! It gives people enlightenment! I learned where the recovery treasure pill was from this apple! Eat it and you will definitely learn where to find a great treasure!” Rezen said in desperation

“I didn’t eat all of it and my enlightenment is not finished. If you want to use this apple, I suggest you eat it now, it will soon lose its value after the first bite!” Rezen said as he threw the apple
Although Leon is doubtful, he still unconsciously caught it in his hand. After all, the recovery pill that Rezen had was too great of a treasure
If Leon can find a treasure at the same level as that… who wouldn’t be tempted?
“Hurry! Eat it lest you me me for not gaining anything!” Rezen urged anxiously as if he was really scared that the apple would lose its effect
Leon stared at the bitten apple in his hand. It looks the same as a normal apple, there seems to be nothing wrong with it
And since Rezen also ate it without being harmed… maybe this apple is not poisoned?
