“Woah… what the hell…” Rezen’s eyes almost popped out of their sockets. He can’t believe that this was still the same ruined city ofst night


    “H-how did this happen?”


    Rezen was in disbelief. He clearly saw thatrge parts of the city were in ruinsst night because of the terrorist attack but now…


    Granted, the people still look tense from terror but the thing is, the city at least in terms of infrastructure is already back to normal!


    It was as if nothing happenedst night! The only thing that indicates that there was indeed a terrorist attack was the mood of the citizens


    Even if the country poured all of their manpower to bring the ruined city back to normal, it shouldn’t be this fast!


    Rezen was curious about how such a thing was made possible and he sped up his pace


    His car can’t fit six people including him and he has no choice but to use a public transportation


    He added buying arger vehicle to his already overflowing to-do list


    When Rezen and his five chosen subordinates arrived at the gates of the Rising Sage Academy, they were suddenly stopped by the guards


    “Halt! Who are you?” One of the two guards asked arrogantly. Clearly, he took pride in being a guard of a Magic Academy


    After all, this Academy is headed by a 6th fusion rank mage!


    Even if the other more famous Academies have 6th fusion rank mage or mages, such a strong entity are not asmon as cabbages


    Naturally, normal people wouldn’t offend the guards of the Academy


    Maybe if it was an Academy student or people thate from Mage Families, they wouldn’t think much about these guards but it was different for themon people


    These guards, unfortunately, ced Rezen and his entourage as part of the mon people’


    “I’m here to meet the Headmaster” Rezen simply replied and the guards snorted at him


    “Hmph, who do you think you are?”


    “Is the Headmaster someone that you can easily meet just because you want to?”


    Rezen wanted to answer ‘yes’ since he felt like that was the case. After all, didn’t he and the pair of sisters have a good rtionship with each other?


    They even came in a hurry when he said that he was in danger!


    ‘Is this the legendary face-pping plot? The one where cannon fodders would offend the protagonist just to receive a bad ending?’ Rezen mused


    He already encountered the ‘assassins from a terrible organization thatmitted suicide to prevent information leakage’ plot. Seems like, it was the face-pping this time


    As a self-proimed petty person that believes in an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, Rezen wouldn’t stop these people from courting death


    Anyway, these people are the type that shouldn’t be given a chance in life. They already gained enough respect from themon people for being the Academy’s guards but they are stupidly looking down on people


    It’s fine to feel proud but to belittle others for the sake of their egos, that is an act of blind scums!


    Even Rezen at least give respect to his artificial human subordinates even if these people all give their lives to him


    “Inform the Headmaster that Rezen Virion wishes to see her” Rezen said to see how much these people have ckened


    “Brat, go away now while we’re still being nice!”


    “A person like you is not someone that our Headmaster would see!”


    Rezen fought the urge to roll his eyes at them. Indeed, cannon fodders are cannon fodders


    “At least inform her. If she doesn’t agree then so be it!”


    The guards looked displeased and one of them even summoned his mystic gem. That guard’s eyes turned red for a moment as a fire-type mystic gem appeared on top of his palm


    “Kid, will you scram or should I force you?”


    “Indiscriminate usage of magic inside the city is illegal”


    If it was for fighting terrorists, the usage of magic is not illegal. But using magic in public for personal selfish reasons is a different story!


    “Hahahaha, who would even stop us, you?”


    “We have the protection of a 6th fusion rank mage! What can you do?”


    Rezen wondered whether these two guards have some loose screws. The way they talk and act were too cannon fodder-like!


    “Master!”


    “You dare!”


    “You’re courting death!”


    Rezen’s five loyal subordinates whom he simply named One, Two, Three, Four, and Five for convenience’s sake stood in front of him


    Their Mystic Tattoos spread on their bodies as they red at the two guards, their killing intent rising


    ‘Ahh… this is embarrassing…’


    Rezen almost ordered the ground to swallow him alive. The guards act and speak like cannon fodders but his subordinates weren’t any different!


    They sound like lower-ranking Young Masters that were trying to suck up to the higher-level Young Master that is also a cannon fodder


    This is madly embarrassing!


    “Y-you… who are you?!”


    “Don’t you dare hurt us!”


    The guards were fearful of thebined aura of the five Tattoo Warriors. Their legs shaking and their voice trembled


    Rezen gave himself a mental facepalm. He should have called Florine first beforeing here!


    “Enough, stay back for now” Rezen ordered and the five A.H. looked at him with unwillingness as if they want to continue and kill the bastards that offended their master


    Unfortunately, Rezen’s stern look causes them to tuck their tails between their legs


    ‘As the master, I naturally should have the dignity of one’ Rezen thought in satisfaction


    “As for you two, wait to get fired” Rezen said with a displeased tone


    He’s not someone that would easily forgive! He’s not a Saint or some sort of shonen protagonist that would fight a person to death and then be friends with themter. Even the tsundere-type of people that would act cold and arrogant to the Mc but were soft inside irritate him!


    “Arrogant!”


    “Who do you think you are?!”


    Rezen ignored them for now as he dialed Florine’s number


    Seconds passed and Rezen’s call was not answered, causing his cheeks to turn red. He wants to face-p these guards but his call actually wasn’t answered


    This was too shameful! He can even see the guards looking at him with disdain


    ‘Just you wait’ Rezen thought through gritted teeth before realizing that he too sounds like a dandy Young Master that doesn’t have a long life


    ‘Damn… these people are influencing me too much’


    Rezen calmed himself for a moment and this time, it was Rain that he called


    Fortunately, this time, his call was answered


    “Hello little supplie— brother~” Rain greeted enthusiastically despite almost calling Rezen her little supplier


    “Sister, I have a problem…” Rezen said with a disappointed sigh


    “What is it?”


    “I think that sister is treating me poorly”

    For a moment Rezen was tempted by the ‘offer’ but there is still a more important thing that he needed to do


    “Is that so? I’m having a hard time believing that, sister. I can’t even enter your Academy and the guards were treating me as if I’m a beggar”


    Rezen shed some imaginary tears as he exaggerated what happened


    “Who dared to do that?! Little brother, don’t be afraid! This big sister will give you justice!”


    Rezen can hear how anxious the other person was at the end of the call and his vanity was once again satisfied


    It didn’t take that long before a burst of aura exploded inside the Rising Sage Academy and a woman riding a flying ice sheet appeared


    Rain jumped down andnded a few steps away from the Academy gate as she stared at the guards with a bone-chilling gaze


    Before she evennded, she has already seen Rezen and it didn’t need much thinking to see who made him dissatisfied


    Rain tapped her feet on the ground and magic circles formed below the two guards that froze them from toe to neck


    “V-Vice Headmaster…!” The guards spoke in unison, both of them were afraid and the spell made them feel like they just entered an iceberg


    “Are you the ones that prevented our handsome, cute, lovely, and enchanting guest from entering? You fools! You have eyes, why can’t you use them?!”


    The guards wanted to retort. How are they supposed to know that Rezen is some big shot?


    They weren’t given any notice!


    This is a mistake on Rain and Florine’s side but the fault cannot be given to them. If Rezen became dissatisfied then he might cease the cooperation with them and the Academy


    As such, the poor guards can only take the me. But aside from that, although they don’t have much interaction, Rain knew that Rezen is not the type of person that would just bully anyone


    These bastards might have acted and spoke too arrogantly. Such guards are not wee in the Rising Sage Academy as with their attitudes, they might offend someone that even Florine cannot offend
