    Chapter 124 – Finding E


    My whole body is shaking, and I’m still dizzy from whatev er drugs were given to me. Mistress Ava is


    beside me, holding me close as she yells at the guy that was sent in here. I can’t make sense of what


    they are saying, even though I’m trying my best to understand them. I keep hearing the word sorry, but


    that’s all I canprehend. I can tell the guy was feeling bad after he found out that he was lied to. I


    remember Mis tress Ava suggesting that he leave before my Dom arrives, but he insists on staying.


    “ELLA!” I hear my name and the familiar voice that I know so well.

    “I’m here baby!” I’m being jostled, and when I try opening my eyes, the room spins.

    back, and Jace tries to get me to drink more water, but I shake my head.

    “You can go, but next time, make sure you check with the submissive first, to make sure you both are on

    “Are you okay to walk or would you rather me carry you?” Jace asks me after a little while. I was hoping


    the drug would wear off a little bit more before attempting to leave, and it has to the extent that his face is


    no longer blurry but I’m still dizzy and feeling a little light on my feet.


    “I can try and walk,” he helps me to stand, and I take a cou ple of steps before stumbling into him, “Oh!”


    “Forget it, baby, I’ve got you.” He picks me up bridal-style and turns to the Dark Queen, “Thank you for


    finding her, Ava. I didn’t even think to look here.”


    She caresses my head, “No need to thank me, I couldn’t let anything happen to Precious, either.” Her


    smile is genuine, and I actually lean into her hand, “Go, take her home. I will do the show for you. I think

    the door, but Elias’s form fills the doorway.”

    Ava steps forward at this point, “Master Elias, I already told Master Jace that I will go up and perform for


    him. I will use Nessa and punish her for this offense.”


    Elias stares at Ava, “You never want to perform on stage! You will do it, seriously?”


    “Yes, as long as you allow me to use Nessa like I said.”


    With a tick in his jaw, he nces back and forth between us and the Dark Queen, “Fine, I will go find her


    and meet you backstage. You best put on a good show for my guests.” He caresses her cheek and then


    leaves.


    Ava looks back at us, “What are you waiting for, get Pre cious out of here.”


    | Jace nods and carries me from the room and through the


    club, not stopping until we get to his jeep. Once he sets me down in the passenger seat, he cups both


    sides of my face and gazes into my eyes, “How are you doing? Do you want me to take you to the


    hospital?”


    | smile and shake my head, “No, just take me home please. The fresh air has helped clear my head a


    little.”


    He nods, “Good,” leaning in, he presses his lips against mine for a brief kiss, “I am so sorry, E. I


    shouldn’t have let you go off with Kia like that.”


    “Jace, you can’t me yourself for everything that goes wrong with me. For some reason, danger is


    attracted to me,” | chuckle, “You can’t follow me around everywhere, all you can do is what you are doing


    right now; being here for me in the aftermath.”


    “Grr,” he presses his forehead against mine, “How can you be so calm about this?”


    “Because I know you will take care of her for me, and I can rest easy knowing that I have you to help me


    get through it.”


    “God, I fucking love you!” He says and then kisses my fore head before letting my face go to buckle my


    seatbelt.


    I watch Jace walk around the front of the Jeep, and even though I still feel a bit high, I’m no longer dizzy


    or nauseous anymore. What I do feel, though, is arousal taking hold and I
