Chapter 1386 Wendy’s Wariness


    Wendy paced back and forth in her room. When she saw that her phone was silent, she felt fairly


    anxious. She had the urge to barge into Colton''s room a few times, but she managed to keep her wits


    about her.


    She should not go over at that moment because she could see that the person her brother needed was


    Beryl, not her.


    While she was still worrying, she noticed movements on her phone. She hastily unlocked her phone

    drunk Colton, she lowered her volume even though she knew the room was soundproof.


    Beryl turned up the corners of his mouth ever so slightly as he looked at Wendy with a half-smile. "I''m


    bringing you out for some food, and I''ll also tell you about your brother. Are youing?"


    He was worried that she could not sleep because of her anxiety. That was why he wanted to bring her


    out for some good food. It might help her relieve her emotions.


    "Well, since you so kindly offered, it would be rude for me to decline." A look of pleased surprise


    shed across Wendy''s face. However, it was so quick that no one noticed it. She pretended to look


    conflicted when she replied.


    Beryl smiled. Choosing not to expose her, he stood at the door and waited.
