    nodded to him as a form of greeting.

    at her with such tenderness in his eyes as though it could spill over at any moment.


    Taken aback, Nicole instinctively took a step back. The look in his eyes just now was different from

    Seeing her response, Kendrick realized that he had stepped out of line and was perhaps too hasty.


    Immediately, he turned his gaze away and said with a faint smile, "I''m here just to remind you both to
