    Hearing her words, Dous opened his eyes and looked at the spokesperson. When he saw that it


    was Emily, his troubled expression vanished as he looked at her gently. “It’s okay. I only had a few


    drinks. The business was quick to end,” he said.


    As Emily looked at him, she felt that he had changed. She hummed in response to his words before


    asking, “Are you going to Twilight tonight?”

    few steps forward and stood before Dous. “Okay. Be back soon. Lucy’s birthday is around the


    corner, and I hope you will squeeze some time out for her,” she said.

    birthday. Otherwise, she will throw a fit.”
