Nicole heard the sarcasm in Joanna’s tone, but she was unperturbed. She simply raised an eyebrow

back!” Zachary assured.
Warmth filled Nicole’s heart as she lowered her voice and thanked him. “Okay. Thank you, Zachary.”

Colton, the president of the Gardner Corporation, Joanna, the director of Gardner Apparel, and Lisa,
the Chief Designer of F&M Apparel, were all present at the new productunch event.
