    “What just happened? Did we just split the power of the Mutant Blood Phoenix?”


    An Lin blinked in confusion.


    Xu Xian swallowed a Blood Spirit Pill before sitting up with difficulty. She wiped the sweat away from her forehead as she looked down at the crimson insignia on the back of her other hand with a dazed expression.


    “I can feel that the me power in my body has drastically increased, and I’ve also received theplete inheritance of the Destruction of Sun and Stars…” Xu Xian turned to An Lin with a hint of tion in her eyes, having survived what was surely certain death. “What about you? Do you feel any changes?”


    An Lin nodded. “The me power in my body has also drastically increased, and I’ve also received the inheritance of the Destruction of Sun and Stars…”


    He looked down with incredulity at the insignia on his hand. “So this was a buy one get one free deal?”


    Xu Xian’s lips twitched slightly. “It was also almost a case of kill one get one free for the sigil!”


    An Lin chuckled awkwardly and raised his head to find Xu Xian staring at him with her bright eyes rippling like water.


    “Er, Xian, you…”


    An Lin didn’t even get a chance to finish his sentence before a faint aromatic scent swept toward him.

    Xu Xian closed her eyes, and her long eyshes trembled gently.


    Xu Xian’s skin was beautifully translucent under the light of the stars, and her breathing was a little frantic from the ordeal she had just endured.


    Happiness had struck way too abruptly!


    An Lin was paralyzed with bliss.


    As far as he could remember, this was the first time that Xu Xian initiated a kiss with him.


    This feeling waspletely new and different. It was super stimting!


    What he didn’t know was that Xu Xian had already given him her first kiss in the aftermath of that epic battle that they endured in the Holy cial Lands…

    “Moo! I’m so d to see that you’re both alright!”


    The huge cow stomped toward An Lin and Xu Xian with a joyful expression on its face.


    Xu Xian gently pushed An Lin away as a gorgeous blush appeared on each of her delicate cheeks in an extremely adorable manner, giving An Lin the irresistible urge to give her a peck on the cheek.


    An Lin turned to Ao Niu with a cold, resentful expression. “I think I’m craving roast beef all of a sudden!”


    Ao Niu’s momentum stopped cold, and its white fur stood up on end as it sensed an extremely menacing killing intent sweeping toward it.


    <i>Roast beef? Why would he suddenly mention that?</i>


    <i>Is he going to eat me?!</i>


    The two of them continued chatting as they ignored Ao Niu, who had turned deathly pale from fright.


    A shy smile appeared on Xu Xian’s face. “Hmm… thatst kiss was awarded to you for your good performance!”


    An Lin came to his senses before flicking her forehead. “Don’t ever try to chase me away if something like this ever happens again! I’m so bad*ss, I’ll protect you from everything!”


    Xu Xian nodded with a smile. “Alright, I get it! You’re super powerful!”


    An Lin was quite pleased with herpliment, and he extended a hand toward her to pull her up from the ground.


    However, right when their two hands held onto one another, they suddenly sensed a peculiar connection. It was as if something had been perfected.


    Xu Xian’s expression shifted as she turned to look at An Lin.


    There seemed to be a tacit understanding between them as they released each other’s hand in unison, upon which the connection disappeared…


    The two of them exchanged astonished nces before holding hands again, upon which the connection recurred.


    When they separated their hands, the connection disappeared again.


    Ao Niu stared nkly at the two of them as they yed a game of hand-holding.


    Was this some new type of flirting technique? They seemed to be thoroughly enjoying it!


    “This is probably the attraction caused by the Mutant Blood Phoenix’s power,” An Lin spected.


    Xu Xian furrowed her brows slightly. “It should have something to do with the insignias on our hands.”


    “Should we… give it a try?” An Lin asked.


    “Sure!” Xu Xian nodded.


    Boom!


    A plume of crimson mes engulfed an area with a radius of over a kilometer.


    Xu Xian waved her hand through the air as she unleashed the power of the blood phoenix that she had just received.


    An Lin was also doing the same as scorching red mes soared into the sky. His mes weren’t as impressive as Xian’s mes since she was much more adept at ying with fire, but it wasn’t far away.


    “Hey, that’s not bad. These red mes are at Divine me level.” An Lin was quite ted.


    “Let’s move on to the next experiment then,” Xu Xian proposed.


    Their tacit understanding toward one another took effect again as they held onto each other’s hand.


    A peculiar connection began to appear. It was quite faint, but it definitely existed.


    The connection instantly became much stronger when the two of them activated the power of the Mutant Blood Phoenix in unison. At the same time, the half-phoenix insignias on their hands began to glow with a scintiting light.


    The two halves of the insignia fused together in the air to form aplete phoenix.


    The boundless might of a Fire God began to explosively erupt outward in this instant!


    Boom!


    Red mes exploded forth and engulfed heaven and earth like a red sun that exploded in the air as it lighted up the entire world!


    Boundless mes erupted like a nuclear bomb explosion as it enveloped the gargantuan body of the Mutant Blood Phoenix within!


    Ao Niu let loose a fearful cry as it charged into the distance as quickly as it could. However, it was still swept up in the horrendous explosion of power. Its body was set alight by the red mes, and it plummeted from the sky like a ball of mes.


    Thankfully, it was situated at the edge of the explosion and its hide was quite tough. Otherwise, it really would be roast beef by now!


    Ao Niu stared in shock at the center of the explosion where mes caused the air to twist and warp, releasing enough light to blind it even though it was so far away.


    “Did… did those two just spontaneouslybust?!” Ao Niu muttered to itself as it involuntarily shielded its eyes.


    “They didn’t die in that explosion, did they?”


    Ao Niu waspletely unable to imagine what kind of living being would be able to survive in the center of that explosion. Even a weaker Return to Void Stage mighty figure would probably die in such a devastating explosion!


    However, Ao Niu’s eyes widened again before too long.


    The mes quickly dissipated to reveal two familiar figures standing atop the gigantic bird’s back, both of whom werepletely unscathed!


    An Lin and Xu Xian were also staring at each other with shock etched onto their faces. The devastating power of that attack had clearly far exceeded their expectations.


    “Who would have thought that ourbined powers would be so strong?” Xu Xian’s eyes widened with incredulity.


    “Perhaps this… is the power of love?” An Lin murmured.


    Xu Xian: “…”


    The two of them released each other’s hands, and they felt as if their bodies had beenpletely depleted of energy after unleashing thatbined attack.


    They looked at the crimson bird underfoot to find that the carcass, which hadn’t dposed for countless years, had been reduced to a red skeleton by the terrifying mes while all of its feathers and flesh had been burned to ashes.


    What a frighteningly powerfulbined attack!
