    He was greeted by the sight of a crimson object suspended where the body of the ck phoenix once was.

    This was an item dropped by a big boss; he didn''t know what it was, but it had to be something extremely useful, so he stowed it away without hesitation!


    He turned his gaze toward the white phoenix in the distance to find that a fierce battle was still raging there.


    The white phoenix was slightly inferior in strength to the ck phoenix, but it was still extremely powerful nheless. Shangguan Yi and Mo Hai were both using their mystic treasures, which made them slightly more powerful than the average Soul Formation Final Stage cultivator, but they were still decidedly on the back foot.


    An Lin wanted to assist them, but he found that he couldn''t muster up any strength.


    Their battle had reached a climax, and the result was about to be decided.

    Shangguan Yi struck then, and her sword transformed into a massive frost sword of over a thousand feet in length. A huge area of over a kilometer in radius was instantly transformed into a vast expanse of snow and ice as the power of extreme frost engulfed the earth.

    The blue water droplet pendant hanging around Shangguan Yi''s neck glowed with a brilliant light as a mighty blue projection suddenly appeared behind her.


    This was the projection of a Frosty Great Empress who reigned over the heavens. She wore a divine crown with a blue veil emperor robe and boundless might burst forth from her eyes, which instantly restricted the movements of the white phoenix.


    Snowkes danced in the sky, and ayer of white frost appeared on the ground as she descended.


    The Great Empress pointed a finger at the huge frosty sword, and the power imbued within the sword instantly began to multiply. The sword slowly turned from an insubstantial white to a light blue, and the very air was frozen solid by the plummeting temperatures around it.


    "Heavenly Frost, Ice sh!"


    Shangguan Yi mirrored the actions of the projection behind her, and she too pointed a finger at the white phoenix.


    The massive frost sword transformed into a streak of blue light which cleaved through the ground and flew toward the white phoenix with unstoppable force, freezing everything in its wake.


    The white phoenix''s divine me domain was once again broken by the streak of blue light, and an expression of despair appeared for the first time in the eyes of the proud white phoenix. The blue streak of light shed past and the white phoenix was felled.


    White blood mingled with mes sttered all over the ground.


    The proud phoenix was thus sliced in half and plummeted to the ground below.


    "Did we win?" A relieved smile appeared on Mo Hai''s face as he looked at the two halves of the white phoenix on the ground.


    Shangguan Yi made her way over to him with a warm smile on her face. "The phoenix''s presence has been erased, there''s no way it can revive itself."


    An Lin''s body swayed and he copsed to the ground, but there was a triumphant smile on his face. "Hahaha... That was some battle; we finally won..."


    "White phoenix, help me...


    "White phoenix,e quickly..."


    A chill ran down An Lin''s spine when he heard the voice calling for help.


    An Lin turned his gaze to the severed halves of the ck phoenix''s body to find that ck mes were burning brightly.


    At the same time, the two halves of the white phoenix''s body transformed into a plume of white mes which then suddenly flew toward the ck mes!


    The two mesbined to create a sea of ck and white mes, from which a new life was being born.


    The ck and white mes merged to create a yin-yang image, thereby heralding the rebirth of the phoenix!


    The body of the ck phoenix took shape, but his wings were white. The powers of purification and destruction merged to create a paradoxical being that was nheless extremely powerful.


    He had one eye with a ck iris and another with a white iris, giving the onlooker an unsettling feeling.


    "Are you in despair now, ants?"


    The ck phoenix walked from the mes expressionlessly and turned his gaze on Shangguan Yi and Mo Hai before looking at An Lin; all three of whom werepletely depleted of energy.


    An Lin gritted his teeth and stood up with great difficulty. The Evil-ying Sword rang incessantly, as if it was full of battle intent.


    However, the after-effect of using the Origin Energy of the Netherworld was so severe that An Lin was unable to even muster up a sliver of vital energy.


    A cold sneer appeared on the ck phoenix''s face. "Hehe, you have no more vital energy left, and you can''t even hold your weapon properly, what do you n to fight me with?"


    He syed his palms and a white me appeared on the left hand while a ck me appeared on his right. He then stepped toward An Lin as if he were a fiendcelestial who ruled over both life and death.


    A smile suddenly appeared on An Lin''s face. "Who told you I can''t fight just because I have no vital energy left?"


    The ck phoenix''s footsteps faltered slightly as his expression darkened. "You''re already on the brink of death but you still try to bluff me?"


    An Lin''s smile grew even wider. "Third strike!"


    Those words were like a sledgehammer to the heart for the ck phoenix as he trembled in shock.


    An Lin suddenly opened his mouth and devastating power converged in his mouth before bursting forth!


    Boom!


    A golden pir of energy tore through the air like a sharp sword before puncturing the ck phoenix''s chest!


    An earsplitting boom erupted!


    The golden pir of energy extended for over ten thousand feet, pulverizing the ground in a radius of several kilometers with its powerful shockwave.


    The air warped and twisted in the wake of the golden pir of energy, and a series of fine spatial rifts could be seen, from which destructive and chaotic auras emanated.


    The ck phoenix stared down nkly at the massive hole in his chest as blood trickled out from his mouth.
