The festive season is on its peak, it is Christmas Eve, and within a few days, it would be the celebration
for New Year. Not just any New Year but the start of the new millennium. Some people interpreted this
day as the apocalypse. Some would say cataclysmic events would ur.
But this is the least of John Eve''s concern at the moment. He was having the best time of his life with
his special someone, Lily Winterfrost. Tonight, he was nning to propose to her, on Christmas Eve.
Little did he know that this would be thest day that he would be with his beloved girl. Lily Winterfrost,
on the other hand, was nning to say goodbye to John, she could notmit her whole self to him
because of this life mission she was destined to do.
Lily, along with her younger sister Rain, ys a big role as Soul Drifters, a secret society that would
protect humanity from anying threat. It was revealed to them that on the night of Dec 31, 1999,
demons would gather and createrge portals for the passage of the Demonlords. This is the beginning
of the prophesized Armageddon.

Soul Drifters are chosen human who are able to travel the astral world and use the power of light to
battle against evil. They can use partial amount of their powers on a very limited time on the Human
Realm. Most carriers dedicate themselves to some personal mission as they explore the secrets of the
astral ne. Often, they discover the depths of their own souls in the process. Soul Drifters have a seal
on their body as a sign of their alliance to the light(this is also known as the Seal of Light), Soul
Drifters are divided into two faction, the Keepers of the Portal and the Carriers of the Seal.

This book covers the chronological events 18 years back from the original timeline of Book 1 up to the
present state where Mat will discover the rise of a new threat to all Carriers of the Seal.
The story begins with the young John Eve discovering that his bestfriend Lily Winterfrost is a
demonyer. Lily told John about her mission as a Carrier of the Seal of Light. This mission forced

them to end their friendship. Lily left the disheartened John, clueless of where she would go and what
would happen to them.
Lily, with the help of her younger sister Rain, and another carrier named Seth defeated the demon
Karasu from setting up a portal that will connect to the underworld to the human realm. The failed portal
blew up and destroyed the warehouse. John, who was lurking from the outside, rushed in to help Lily
but he identally had Lily''s younger sister Rain instead.
The backstory continues tapping some events on the first war on an Astral Isle, John Eve and Rain
Winterfrost having a child, the young Summer Eve, the new generation of Carriers of the Seal.
The parallel events on the human realm during the Crescent Ind War(book1), The post event after
the war, and the revtion of Jimmy Fang that will lead to the fall of Mat Adam and the rest of the
Carriers.
