    He almost smiled at that, “Now you defend her.”


    Alexa turned quickly, and pushed out her hands, before she pointed at him “I’m not, but it sounds like


    you are making excuses and finding logical reasons to your actions.” She arched her eyebrow waiting


    for him to deny it, but he didn’t, she continued, “When the most logical one of all is that which you


    refuse to acknowledge, but fair enough, your personal life isn’t one with many red ticks is it, how is


    Roselletta doing, are you still her run to guy.”


    He grimaced at the thought, “You certainly know how to get me thinking don’t you?”


    “I know you for almost three hundred years, William ckwyll, our friendship is one based on mutual


    ground and a barely there honesty, you didn’t just call me here for a mere escape n, you wanted my


    council on whether she might break you. You are always too secretive.”


    She continued, “She had been living as a deceptor for so long, William, I want to meet her myself, but

    Alexa assured him, “You speak to my cousin, he’s in L.A, I’ll send his number, but I could tell you that


    the death of her mother is a certain dampener to things, so give her space.”


    Liam didn’t say anything, he had wanted her to tell him that re was bad news, and he should stay


    away, but she didn’t, though he wasn’t surprised that she didn’t.


    He knew that the only true way of knowing would be through experience and that was not something


    he could afford to do. Distractions were only going to keep him off course, and he knew that failure was

    Alexa smiled, “She just lost her mother, she needs time, or it could mean that she’s getting her angelic


    side back, good luck with those hormones of hers, the girl is going to be a walking


    Aphrodite.”
