Chapter 24 (Clare)

    Chapter 24 (re)

Caidrian breathed soundly, “Fine. Quick history lesson, about 3000 bc, there was a with life on it,

famously known as Venusta, now it’s just a ball of rock, which deceptors call Venus.”

re interrupted, as she screeched, “So I’m an alien”

Chuckling at her expression, he shook his head, “Not quite, before humans, Adonai, created

Venusians. They once lived on earth before the first reckoning, but only a few of them who were worthy

got sent to another to continue their legacy.” When he saw her mouth open, he cut her off, “Na

    ah, just listen.’’

She half smiled and nodded, “Venusian people were superior to humans, they have perfected versions,

masters of all arts, guardians of the realms, their technology and infrastructure was advanced. But they

were the most god-fearing of all creation, so much so that an Angel became jealous at Adonai’s

affection for them, and in a fit of rage, he opened a portal, allowing demons to enter. It wasn''t long

before Venus became riddled with demons, so the Venusians decided to seek shelter on another

net, but the demons saw through their n and destroyed Venus by flooding it with water, killing all

but 100 soldiers, who were locked underground. Most of whom survived were royalty.” He paused,

“Now you must understand that in Venus the strongest of soldiers were always women, they were the

leaders, so with only enough metal and blue energy for one ship they sent 50 of the strongest woman

to seek their ancestral called earth. When theynded on earth 3000 years before Christ, they

found human beings, instead of killing them, they decided to try and teach the humans to be civilized

so they may grow as a species. The Venusian women noticed the humans were very simr to them,

so they taught themnguage, farming, and sewing, but after just a few years of peace, came the

    Tempters and their demons.

The Venusians knew they couldn’t defeat them without the help of the Angels, so they summoned two

Angels, they begged the Angels for help but they refused and left. The Angels said the humans needed

to be destroyed, they were the first to call them deceptors. The Angels said it was not their fight, but as

time went the women fought the demons, dying by their cursed des, dooming them for eternity.”

Caidrian stopped, but re was still trying to absorb what Caidrian had already told her, she looked at

him with raised eyebrows, her expression that of shock,

“Well, are you going to tell me what happened?”

Satisfied with her response he smiled, “Four of the Venusian women were at the bayou when they

noticed a deceptor or human as you would call them, giving birth to a baby with a cone-shaped head,

as the women went closer they noticed the child had razored teeth and beaded ck eyes.

Devastated by this, one of the Venusian women made ast attempt to summon an Archangel, she

summoned the Angel Mikael, and intrigued by her beauty and bravery, the Angel agreed to help her,

Mikael returned in mortal form bringing with him Gabriel, Raziel, and Casteal, they each married a

Venusian woman and all the women bore kids. The Angels raised their first born by teaching them skills

and how to use their abilities, making them elite servants of god, for all eternity. The demons didn’t dare

enter the earth where the Angels lived. One of the woman, the wife of Casteal, Samara, noticed that

unlike on Venusta they aged quicker on earth.

Mikael, wanting to help, ascended to the heavens, and on the third year returned to earth. On his

arrival back to earth he bestowed a gift on the children so when they reached the age of 34 they all

aged three times slower than the deceptors, and lived three times longer, making them superior but still

mortal, calling them Lightwatchers. After the first of the Lightwatchers were grown up to twenty years,

the angels left and said never to return. Though we are visited often by other angels never those four.

re stood still for a few seconds, her brain perished with thoughts of what she just heard, “Whoa, so

    what you’re saying is that I’m a Lightwatcher, correct.”Content is ? by N?velDrama.Org.

Caidrian wasn’t looking at her, instead, his eyes searched the forest, lower ground and up toward the

trees, “Not just any Lightwatcher, you are the descendant of the Archangels Gabriel and Mikael, and

thest born female of the Draiken bloodline.”

She smiled, “So what I’m special somehow?” He nudged his head so she could walk, “Somebody is

    following us.”

He hadn’t met her eyes, but ced his finger on his lips, signaling her silence, on her nod he took out a

long sword from his weapon belt, her instincts telling her to move closer toward him, and follow his

gaze. Both of them startled by a squirrel running down the tree near them. In an attempt to break the

embarrassing moment re mused, “WOW, imagine that.”

“A creepy little creature,” was Caidrians reply before they moved on, making higher ground, further

    up.
