<b>DIMITRI</b>
I walked out of the room heading down the hallway <b>and </b>a feeling of soft anger swept through me.
I was pissed.
Irritated and stunned at Derrick’s disapproval. As much as I tried to hide my feelings from Nora, I couldn’t deny the fact that I was more pissed than her.
Who is he?
How dare he?
I swear to teach him a lesson <b>that </b>he would never forget, 1 promile this with everything inside of me.
No one, beast or mortal has ever challenged me and I won’t let this pass me by.
Suddenly, a loud noise cut <b>through </b>my ears.
I froze, my heart began to pound louder than ever <b>and </b>I could feel my <b>feet </b>suddenly grow cold, the soul was so deafening that I felt a pain, as sharp as a knife cut through me.

My throat was dry and I fell on my knees, my eyes tightly shut as I shook my head, my body was gradually losing itself.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps behind me.
<b>“</b>Dimitri!” A familiar voice called out to me and the footsteps drew closer<b>.</b>
I couldn’t raise my head to look at the person’s face but I knew damn well who it was.
“Dimitri.”
“Talk to me.”
“What’s wrong?”
“I <b>heard </b><b>you </b>scream!”
“Dimitri!” She let out but my visions were suddenly bing blur. The pain was indescribable and I knew that I was gradually losing my breath.
-Dimitri!” A loud scream came forth and at once, deep darkness overwhelmed me.
Abeeping sound woke me up.
I opened my eyes to find myself in one of the <b>rooms </b><b>at </b><b>the </b>pack clinic. Leo stood, checking out my palm and Iid still wondering what’s happening.

At first I wanted to speak <b>but </b>at once, the memory came shing through and I couldn’t believe that I <b>could </b>survive the horrible <b>pain </b>that struck me <b>hard</b>.

The witch and my body are trying to let me know that my hoursing by and the thought of it sank me in great sorrow.

I didn’t say a word, my heart was already crushed <b>knowing </b>that have a few months left.

Leon stood silent watching us.
“You have to leave.”

I was pissed and turned to her at once, not hiding my disgust. “Can you just leave? Get the fuck out of this room! Why <b>can’t </b><b>you </b>obey my instructions? Huh? Tell me! When I tell you to do something, you fucking do it and don’t try to push your words on me, now, leave!” I yelled pointing at the open door.
Nora <b>froze </b>in <b>shock </b>at my utterance. Anger <b>swept </b>over her stunned <b>face </b>and without <b>a </b>word, she got up on her feet and headed for the door.
Guilt swept through me.
“Nora” I called out.
“Dimitri!” A sudden different voice called out behind the door. Ar once<b>, </b><b>a </b><b>red</b><b>–</b><b>haired </bdy rushed into the room and before I could utter a word, she threw her hands all over me.

“Anissa<b>?</b>” 1 mumbled, sinprived to see her.
Anissa let go of me but her sharp green eyes didn’t leave me as the stared at me.
Nora stood at the door, watching us.
“Oh Dimitri, I rushed here as soon as I heard the news. What happened to you? Why are you here?” She asked cing a <b>hand </b>on my shoulder.
I was dumbfounded.
“<b>Anissa</b>?” My brows furred. “I never knew that you were in the peek, I haven’t seen you ever since the day I was crowned king.
Anissa and I were childhood friends, so close that our parents thought that we were going to be future mates,
Anissaughed, her perfect <b>set </b>of white teeth shed at me. She ced her hand on my face.
“Come on, I have been in the kingdom for the past two days, I nned on <bing </b>tomorrow but as soon as I heard what happened. I had to rush in.” Her eyes narrowed and she scanned my body, her hands on my chest.
Speechless. 1 looked up. Annisa’s eyes followed me as we looked at Nora who appeared like she wanted to <b>go </b>away.
“Nora, meet Anissa. Anissa, meet Nora, my mate.” I introduced myself and Alissa frowned.
“Your mate? I thought that bitch was dead.” She spat..
Nora didn’t look pleased at her statement.
I felt very ufortable.
That’s Cassandra. Nora is my new mate.” I <b>said</b>.
Anissa raises a brow and turns to Nora. “Oh really? Is that so?” She scoffed and looked at me. “Doesn’t she look too shabby <b>for </b>a reputable king like you? Come on Dimitri, you should <b>have </b>chosen someone more prettier and who can give you a handsome heir. Merely looking at thisdy. I doubt if she has what it is to be the queen of this kingdom.<b>”</b>
Nora’s face turned red in anger, at once, she walked away leaving 1 together with <b>Anissa</b>.
My face furred. “What was the meaning of that <b>Anissa</b><b>? </b>Why will you speak to her in such a way, right in her presence?”
Anissaughed. “Oh,e on, Dimitri. You get upset over nothing. I just wanted to brighten up the atmosphere, what’s wrong in doing that?”
I frowned deeper.
“Don’t worry, I will go <b>and </b>spe
ak to her. You better get well soon, you owe me that.” She winked getting up on her feet and with a smile <b>on </b>her face she
walked out of the ward.
