    A crazed look crossed Uncle Lus eyes. His battle sword cut through the air and shot towards the Primitive-Grade Chaos Beasts behind him. The beasts flew back from the impact as the Ancient-Grade Chaos Beast roared and charged towards him again.


    This time, he did not attack the beast. Instead, he charged toward Gu Mu at a frightening speed. At the same time, he waved his battle sword around, capturing the wind and clouds from all directions. The space began to fluctuate, and a crazy wind built up around them. With Uncle Lu as the center, the wind formed a huge and frightening hurricane.

    Luo Luughed maniacally. The heavenly powers inside his body were picking up speed. Even the heavenly powers inside his divine core were shooting outward. He knew that he was going to die for sure so he wanted to drag Gu Mu down with him as he died. He knew that Gu Mu would not die even if he exploded himself, but an Ancient-Grade Chaos Beast was still behind him.

    Just as a yellow, round shield appeared outside of Gu Mus body, Uncle Lus body lit up with a blinding white light which shot out in all directions. He looked almost like another sun. At that moment, the heaven and earth energy around them shook as well. An explosive sound echoed throughout a-few-hundred-kilometers radius. The terrifying impact caused even the volcano to shake uncontrobly, and moltenva kept spilling out of it. Theva in the Fire Lake overflowed as well, creating waves ofva that traveled toward the east.


    Pong-pong-pong-pong!


    The Primitive-Grade Chaos Beasts were mostly burned alive. Fresh blood spurted in all directions. The few Chaos Beasts that had been too close to the explosion were blown to bits from the impact. Gu Mus earth-elemental shield broke into pieces as well, and his body was thrown backward. Hended hard on the volcano and then rebounded, atstnding on the ground. He writhed around in pain.

    The ancient-grade chaos beast was very close to Uncle Lu, to begin with, so it suffered significant injuries as well. However, its defenses were much stronger. Its head and chest were injured, its body became a blur of flesh and blood, and a few of its bones were broken. However, it was not critically injured.


    Its huge body was thrown back about tens of kilometers. It flew up once again, outraged. The anger burning inside it made it want to tear all humans into pieces. In its eyes, Gu Mu and Uncle Lu were on the same team. There was still life in Gu Mus body so it wanted to take revenge.

    Gu Mu was not dead, but he was not having an easy time either. He spat out a mouthful of blood and quickly crawled to his feet. He looked at the Chaos Beast shooting toward him from far away. Anger and pain were mixed in his gaze.


    The n worked perfectly this time. Luo Ting was dead, and so was Luo Lu. He was severely injured, but this Ancient-Grade Chaos Beast alone could not kill him. If he could escape in time, he had a good chance of evading far away.

    Gu Mus gaze turned determined. He decided to take the chance. He had to kill Jiang Yi himself before he could run away. He retrieved a metal rod which lit up in his hands and grew bigger by the second. He forced himself to endure the pain shooting throughout his body. Then, he waved the metal rod around in the air and flew toward the Chaos Beast which was charging towards him.

    The Chaos Beast flew backward, but Gu Mu was not feeling too good either. The Chaos Beast was far too strong. The rebound impact in the metal rod caused his internal organs to split open. Once again, he himself flew backward as well. Still, he could not care less. He wiped the fresh blood from the corner of his mouth and flew into the Fire Lake. Jiang Yi was too weak. As long as Gu Mu could locate him, he was sure he would be able to kill him in a second.

    The Chaos Beast jumped into the Fire Lake as well like a mad dog. At the same time, it spat out mes from its mouth, causing the moltenva from the Fire Lake to spurt outward.     The man and beast kept fighting just like that. Both of them were in pain. Both were injured, but the fight was making each of their injuries worse. It was obvious that the Chaos Beasts defensive powers were too strong. If this was allowed to carry on, Gu Mu would surely be the first to die.

    Gu Mu let out a pained cry. A few of his bones were broken in the battle this time. He knew that he would be stuck in the Fire Lake forever if he allowed this to carry on. However, what else could he do? He could only try his best!


    His divine senses spread out in all directions as he kept searching for Jiang Yi. His soul spirit was very strong. He could search within a radius of thirty kilometers at a time. That was at least three times better than Luo Lu. However even after looking around, he could not find any trace of Jiang Yi. He began to hesitate as his eyes glinted.     He kept looking around, but he saw no Chaos Beasts. Whats more, there were no divine cores or interspatial ring to be seen. There were also no battle armors lying around.     He kept charging toward the base of theke while using his divine senses to search around. Soon, he began to find clues. At the base of theke was a passageway. He guessed that it was left behind when the fire shot out from underground. At that moment, the passageway seemed to have been broken. He guessed that that was where Jiang Yi must have escaped from. Thus, he charged towards it.

    A ruthless look crossed Gu Mus face. Once again, he struck the Chaos Beast. His body was thrown into the passageway at the base of theke almost instantly. This time, his injuries were much worse. In his heart, he felt like he could very possibly die in thiske.


    He had no other choice. Jiang Yi must die!
