Chapter 1300: Destroying Chaos Beasts

    The hippopotamus Chaos Beast cried out loudly, opening its huge mouth to shoot out a ball of blue mes. It was a pity that these mes were useless against Jiang Yi. The ten or so balls of red me hit it in its back leg, causing its back leg to bepletely burned. More than half the flesh from the leg was burned off. It was in so much pain that it began writing in the water once again. It opened its mouth, shooting countless balls of blue mes at Jiang Yi once again.


    Jiang Yi stopped shooting the balls of red mes, for fear of letting the blue mes go to waste. He waited until his Fire Spirit Pearl absorbed all the blue mes before he shot the red mes once again. After taking aim, he maimed the Chaos Beasts hind leg. It now had no way of escaping.


    The rest of the process was simple. Jiang Yi was not in a hurry to kill the Chaos Beast. Instead, he forced it to shoot out more balls of blue mes so that his Fire Spirit Pearl could absorb them. These mes were good stuff. Although he had no idea exactly how strong they were, he guessed that ordinary Heaven Gods would not be able to defend themselves against it. Even God Generals would likely be taken aback if he used these mes to attack them at the right time. It was best to collect as much of these mes as he could.


    Jiang Yi no longer dared to waste any more of the red mes either. He wanted to use his Divinity yer instead to kill the Chaos Beast slowly. The bones of the Chaos Beasts back leg had all been burned off. It tried to run away several times, but its speed was no match for Jiang Yis. All it could do was attack Jiang Yi in anger.


    However, Jiang Yi was not afraid of its mes at all. Each time he got near the beast, he would release some red mes; and the hippopotamus Chaos Beast would retreat slightly out of fear. Slowly, after two hours, Jiang Yi finally tortured the Chaos Beast to death. There were a hundred more balls of deep blue mes in the Fire Spirit Pearl now as well. He had fewer balls of red mes; only about sixty left.

    After killing this Chaos Beast, Jiang Yi finally rxed his entire body. All his tense muscles were finally rxed. He sat down at the bottom of theke, released his divine shield, and took deep breaths. After resting for five full minutes, he finally prepared to leave.

    He turned around to look at the cave in which the Chaos Beast resided. He guessed that this undergroundke was its territory. Could its cave contain treasures or spirit herbs of some sort?

    He rushed into the blown-up cave and scanned the pitch-ck surroundings. His vision was pretty good. If he tried hard enough, he could see quite clearly. However, the cave seemed to be very deep. He had to walk for three hundred meters before he would be able to reach the end.

    After scanning the ce for a while, he finally found a few broken pieces of battle armor in the corner. He guessed a martial artist must have been swallowed by this Chaos Beast. These pieces were likely the remnants of that martial artists battle armor.

    He looked at the remaining stuff and found nothing special. Jiang Yi then took onest scan of the cave before flying out of the cave and out of the water. After traveling for a little over an hour, he arrived at the side of theke. Then, he used his Fire Dragon Sword to break the soil apart and advance toward ground-level.

    Another hourter, Jiang Yi finally broke out from underground. He felt the breeze and smelled the fresh air around him. He feltpletely joyful. Life always felt better after escaping from the clutches of death.
