Apart from those from the Yi n, the elders from the remaining Nine Thearch ns led entire cities in celebration of their victory.


    At the same time, many ns began to grieve in silence for the billions of soldiers who had passed away. Yet, no one cared about the many more soldiers and billions of civilians from Sin Ind who perished. To the people of the East Imperial Continent, civilians were merely civilians. The people of Sin Ind were not even considered humans to them.


    The continent became quite peaceful. There were no more battles. The people in the continent were all the more certain that the real mastermind behind this entire fiasco was Ao Lu. What else could exin why the chaos stopped the moment they began to attack the Endless Deep Sea? It was obvious that Ao Lu had already scattered all the demon sovereigns around.


    Countless cities in the continent began to discuss the entire battle. Many of them felt frustrated and angry. They were waiting for more reports on the battle, waiting for the Endless Deep Sea to bepletely destroyed and for their heroes toe home!

    That thought was that the mastermind was not Ao Lu.


    This thought did note out of nowhere. It was based on the evidence thus far. There was a motive for every single n. One could figure out that motive by looking at who stood to gain at the end of the day. The person who stood to gain would most likely be the mastermind behind it all.


    It was obvious that Ao Lu and the Endless Deep Sea stood to gain nothing from this entire fiasco. Instead, the moment the war began, Ao Lu was at risk of dying. If that happened, all the demons of the Endless Deep Sea would be annihted for sure.


    Of course, it was also possible that Ao Lu had miscalcted. It could be that he was indeed the one who caused the mess among humans but did not expect that this would be the oue. Or perhaps he did have a back-up n to destroy the humans alliance army. However, for some strange reason, Yi Chan felt very strongly that this was not the case.

The Nine Thearch ns, Ao Lu, Jiang Yi, and the Sin Ind all became but pawns on his chessboard. The entire Stersky Domain was like his chessboard. Yet, he himself remained hidden, ying this game of chess in a rxed manner. As he sat there devising countless schemes, billions of people burned up in mes.


    Huhu, I could just be thinking too much. If this person is not a demon, then he can only be a human! So many other humans have died already. This would not benefit him. Even if he gains control of the entire world, how would it benefit him to be in charge of a destroyed world?


    Yi Chan heaved a long sigh and forced herself not to think anymore. She was beginning to feel like she was overthinking. How can there be someone that scary in this world? How can someone be that powerful?


    The most important thing was his motive. Unless this person was crazy and wanted to destroy the whole Stersky Domain, there would be no reason he would be this sadistic.

    Jiang Yi had been caught for more than four months now. ording to the Demigods of his n, the Mystic Divine Pce would run out of energy in about a month or so. When that time came, the Mystic Divine Pce would bepletely destroyed. Jiang Yi and the others would be reduced to dust as well.
