    Jiang Yi forced himself to not think about it and quickly ran over, picking up He Lao with a single hand. He squatted down and was prepared to carry He Lao on his back. Once He Laos leg lifted off the ground, Jiang Yi felt abnormally heavy and had no way to carry He Lao.


    Young Master Yi, you dont have to carry me. Old He just needs some rest, and I will be able to walk. You hold on for a moment.


    He Lao forced out a smile, which was a genuine smile. He struggled to sit cross-legged and consumed a recuperation elixir and refined it. Jiang Yi stood by his side. Whenever the red-eyed creatures approached, he would brandish his de and clear out a thirty-meter radius of creatures effortlessly. The formidable power was truly incredible.


    After one hour, He Lao gritted his teeth before standing up and nodded to Jiang Yi. Jiang Yi knew that He Lao was afraid he might release too many dao pattern attacks and would be overly exhausted. He barely recovered some stamina and immediately made haste.
