Chapter 1461 A Hometown Fellow From Lothlann Continent

Chapter 1461 A Hometown Fellow From Lotnn Continent

The gray figurended a swift p on the back of the Rule Soul Avatar.

The sheer contact with his atoms made the Rule Soul Avatar shudder in ce; the feeling of his

meridians shattering upon bearing the brunt of the violent force raised rms throughout his body and

caused him to disperse himself immediately.

He reduced himself into several minuscule specks of light, frolicking in the space above to remove

himself from close range with the gray figure.

"Nice try. But you still can''t run away from me," the gray figure said condescendingly.

He was well aware that the Rule Soul Avatar wasn''t dead, but used a special method to disintegrate

    himself, attempting to deceive him.

With a confident smirk stered across his face, the gray figure pressed his palms forward, causing

the space surrounding him to copse. He was nning onpletely erasing the existence of the

    Rule Soul Avatar.

As space copsed under the intense pressure, the light spots that dominated the surroundings with

their brightness dimmed down, slowly losing their vitality.

The aura of the Rule Soul Avatar gradually dissipated until it wasn''t felt anymore.

The gray figure raised his head to stare into the distance, widening his search radius. His thirst for

blood was insatiable. Now that he got rid of Darren''s avatar, Darren was going to be his next victim.

With his mind made up, he propelled himself into the air and dashed towards the Second Dangerous

    Area.

Determined to escape, Darren and the others flew with all the speed they could muster up. Without

wasting a moment, they transferred themselves the minute they reached the transmission array.

"Rnd, where are we? What is this ce?"

The city theynded in appeared to be densely popted, bustling with people walking on the street.

"This is Zone City, the territory of King Juan. He is one of the Five Kings. It should be safe for us to stay

    here."

More than half of the Chaotic Region was now the property of the Five Kings, who had consentingly

divided the territories among themselves to avoid disputes. Only some barren parts were upied by

    small forces.

The Five Kings were the strongest masters in the Chaotic Region. The most levelheaded and content

one of them all was King Juan. He only stressed over the patch ofnd under his rule without caring

about expanding it and avoided indulging himself in unnecessary wars.

Upon the revtion, Darren was thrown off into silence. He had two reasons for entering the Chaotic

Region, the first being rescuing Ynda. The second being him conquering a territory under his name

after formally entering the Chaotic Region.

But the terms in which he had entered the city was different than what he had initially imagined. He was

on the run from powerful warriors, who were desperate to end his life. The fact that all he could do for

now was hide instead of putting his ns into y made him feel aggravated.

But sizing the odds of the situation he was in, it was in his best interests to hide andy low for a while.

If he were to fall into the hands of his enemies, he might never be able to aplish all that he had

    nned.

"This feeling of being helpless is overwhelming. I feel useless." Darren heaved an exasperated sigh,

    defeated.

Even though he improved his strength to an extensive degree ever since he arrived at the Primitive

Wilderness, it was still not enough. He still had a ways to go before he could reach the high level of this

    world.

The stage was too vast, and he was small inparison. Without the intervention of external forces

supporting him, he would probably not evenst against a middle-level warrior of the Superior God

    Realm.

Now, in the Chaotic Region, his enemies were much more powerful than the ones he had previously

confronted. Their cultivation level was at least at the Deputy God Realm. Darren wouldn''t stand a

    chance against them.

"Don''t let this setback falter your will, Darren. After all, your time for cultivation isn''t long. You''ll definitely

revive our Chu n once you grow stronger. I have full faith in you," Rnd said, attempting to lift his

    spirits.

"Thanks for your encouragement. But time waits for no man," Darren said, shaking his head to deflect

    his negative thoughts.

"Let''s go look around for a ce to stay."

For a while, Darren and Rnd wandered aimlessly on the streets, like sheep separated from their

herd, unable to tell where they were going.

    "We''re being followed!"

As they trod along the path, Rnd caught on to the aura of their stalkers and frowned, putting up his

    guard.

"Come on out! We know you''re here!" Rnd shouted, provoking their pursuers.

    Swoosh! Swoosh!

The next second, two men appeared in front of them, blocking their path.

Judging from their appearance, they seemed to be in theirte twenties. The auras they exuded were

    distinct, yet dense and deep.

"Why are you following us?" Darren asked, annoyed.

"Come with us," the tall man gestured Darren to walk behind them, emotionlessly.

"And why should we trust you? We barely know you."

"Spare me the small talk. Someone wants to see you."

Seemingly confused, Darren tilted his head and protested, "That''s impossible. I don''t know anyone

    here."

"Humph! Don''t refuse a toast and prefer to sip on losses!" Unable to tolerate this tant exchange of

words, the short man was pushed to his wit''s end and activated his god''s power, preparing to take them

    by force.

"Are you two looking for a fight?"

Refusing to hold back, Rnd took a step forward and forcefully pushed the two persistent men back,

using only the intense pressure of his god''s power as a weapon.

"Damn. How interesting! This guy is at the top level of the Superior God realm?"

Taken by surprise, the two men eyed Rnd and Darren up with newfound respect. They didn''t expect

that even the servant who followed Darren would boast of such a high realm.

Compared to Rnd, the two men were at the low-level of the Superior God Realm. Sizing the

tremendous gap in their abilities, they didn''t dare provoke them further.

"We apologize for our rash behavior in receiving you. We came to escort both of you to our master. He

wants to invite you over. We have no personal ill will against you." With just a tiny spectacle of Rnd''s

strength, the two men backed off and switched their conduct.

"Not interested. You can fuck off now."

Without giving them a second nce, Rnd brushed the two aside with a wave of his hand. If they

weren''t on the run for their lives, he would have disposed of them instantly.

"Respected Patriarch Darren, my master invites you sincerely and expects your presence. Please

    more.

    "What did you just say?"

Astonished, Darren suddenly eyed the tall man. The fact that this person knew Darren''s identity caught

    his attention.

"Who is your master?" Darren asked, giving in to his curiosity.

"You''ll know once youe with us."

    Whoosh!

Cautious as he was, Rnd felt an unsettling feeling sprout in his heart. Acting on instinct, he bent his

palm into a w and grabbed the throats of both men on each hand, subduing them.

"Sir, please, calm yourself... It''s not what you think..."

The two of them struggled, choking between their words as Rnd tightened his grip around their

    necks.

"I''m not in the mood for guessing games. Now, tell me who is your master, or I''ll snap your necks in

    two."

"My master told me that youe from the same hometown as him."

Just as he revealed this information, Darren fell into his thoughts, trying to deduce who this person

    might be.

''He''s from the same hometown as me? I wonder...''

"Is your master from the Lotnn Continent?" Darren asked, returning from his thoughts.

    "I... I don''t know..."

    "Rnd, let them go.

Their master might not harbor any hostility towards us. I assume so since he didn''t send anyone

powerful to receive us," Darren said to Rnd, convincing him.

With a scoff, Rnd loosened his grip on the men. They fell to the ground, squirming to catch their

    breath.

"Patriarch Darren, we apologize for offending you. Please forgive our ignorance. We request you to

"I''ll say it again in case you didn''t hear me properly thest time. Fuck off!" Keeping his guard up,

Rnd shouted, headstrong on protecting Darren against involving himself in potential risks.

Signaling Rnd to stop, Darren raised his hand. Then, he turned to the two men and spoke. "Fine. I''ll

    go with you."

Still unsure, Rnd''s lips parted slightly to voice his concerns, but he remained silent instead, choking

    on his words.

"Thank you, sir. Come this way, please."

The two men escorted them to a small transmission array.

Soon, Darren and Rnd were transported to a mountain. A t ground opened up for them to step on,

and they noticed various houses of ordinary architecture built across thendscape.

Soon, they were greeted by a figure who flew over in their direction and nted himself in front of

    Darren.

Without uttering a word, the man scanned Darren from head to toe and nodded convincingly to himself.

"Who are you? Why did you want to meet me?" Darren said indifferently, cutting straight to the chase.

In response, the man smiled warmly and said, "Darren, I am from the Lotnn Continent. We are from

the same hometown. Since we''re meeting each other in a foreign ce, it is only right for me to invite

you over for some drinks and maybe have a chat."

Sure enough! He was from the Lotnn Continent.

Hearing his weing tone, Darren''s expression rxed. "You must be my senior then. May I know

    your name?"

    "I don''t see the point. I''m a nobody."

"Sir, you are being way too modest. Those who cane to the Primitive Wilderness are all peerless

    talents," Darren said, honestly.

The man nodded slightly and said, "My name is Todd. You must have never heard of me, isn''t that

    right?"

Once he heard that name echo through his ears, Darren was left frozen in ce.

This name had a deep influence on him!

    Who was this man?

He used to be one of the protectors of the Lotnn Continent, known as Todd, the God of Sword.

Because he had destroyed the avatar of the Dark Immortal Master, he broke into the Primitive

    Wilderness in the past.
