Chapter 1401 The wed Form
How terrible was the power of time?
Three seconds could feel like a hundred thousand years. Sometimes, it could even be a million years
or even longer. It could leave you trapped in endless loneliness, driving you crazy in the end.
At that moment, Darren could feel his control over the power of time slipping. It had now invaded his
body.
A deep sense of loneliness overwhelmed him.
Every moment felt like ten thousand years had passed through him.
He had experienced this before, so he knew what to do. He had to empty his thoughts and think as if
nothing existed.
He sat down with his legs crossed. Boredom was slowly creeping its way inside him, but he kept
pushing it away.
''This is a test of one''s will,'' he thought.
Everything existed for a reason here in the inheritance space. This was definitely a test. He just had to
safely pass it, and he would finally have the chance to obtain the inheritance.
With that, he could feel himself loosening up. His head was clear from any thoughts.
"Look. Darren seems to be fine."
This was how everyone else found him. Nobody dared speak up, only using their spiritual sense to
About a quarter of an hour passed when Darren finally opened his eyes.
His gazended on the people in front of him. And the feeling as if a lifetime had already passed
washed over him. It made everyone seem strange.
Gradually, his memory flooded back to him like an unrelenting tide. Everything became clear again.
"Darren, are you alright?" someone asked.
Darren stood up slowly, trying to regain a sense of normalcy. "I''m fine. I''ve just passed the test safely.
However, time can still attack us here. I must now pass on my experience to you. Just remember to
rx."
He then showed to the rest what had transpired during his test through his spiritual sense.
"Oh, I see! Ten thousand years in just an instant! That is truly terrifying!"
"It is fortunate that Darren had seeded with the test. Otherwise, we might go crazy when it''s our
turn."
Relief rushed through everyone. Thanks to Darren, they were now prepared to face the next test.

Nobody knew how long they stayed there. Everyone experienced the passage of time differently. But
with the knowledge passed on by Darren, most of them survived. Only a few of them were unable to
resist time and were driven mad. Those people were knocked into aa by the others so that they
wouldn''t end upmitting suicide.
As soon as most of them started to recover, rays of light suddenly lit up the void.
The light enveloped them fully as if baptizing them.
And when it dispersed, they realized that everyone else was gone.
Darren waited quietly. The light had temporarily blinded him.
But then, a red light dot appeared. It quickly flew over from a faraway ce.
As soon as it got nearer, Darren realized that it was a de.
It was blood red all over. Ancient patterns were engraved on the hilt.
Darren found himself wary of the de. He was prepared to defend himself from any possible attack.
Sure enough, the de moved suddenly and flew directly into the light.
"Why didn''t it attack me?"
Darren was surprised by the de''s behavior. He was expecting it to attack him.
Instead, he found himself standing there and watching the de fly higher.
"Ah! Perfect! Are you practicing the de form?"
As he watched the de dance, he realized that the de was probably doing a de form.
"If this is indeed a de form, then it''s perfect!"
The trajectory of the de dance was even more perfect than the supreme sword form that he
currently possessed. He could only imagine the power this de form had.
"de form? No!"
Something urred to Darren.
''Was I supposed to memorize the de form during my trials?"
It was then that he realized that this was one of his tests! He couldn''t afford to miss any details.
He tried recalling what he had just seen. Luckily, the de tracks were still fresh in his mind.
Soon, the de stopped moving. It now stood in front of Darren.
"This is the Blood Thirst de form. I created it myself. It''s not perfect yet since it has eight hundred
and fifty-two ws. It can only disy its full power once it''s wless. Thus, you can obtain the
inheritance if you perfect the form. Now, please study it."
A voice came through time and space, startling Darren.
However, its words had only left him feeling confused.
''How can he say that this de form has eight hundred and fifty-two ws? It''s already perfect as it
is!'' he thought. ''But I can only obtain the inheritance if I improve it.
What the hell are the ws anyway?
This test is just so...'' Darren found himself unable to find the right words to describe his current
predicament. In his eyes, the de form was already wless as it was. The de form''s creator
was simply being too demanding.
''Well, I''ll analyze this slowly.''
Since the creator had already pointed out that it had more than eight hundred ws, he would
eventually sense them somehow. But for now, he should analyze andprehend the form first.
After recovering from his initial shock, he quickly realized that he was lucky. If this was a rule cultivation
method and not a de form, he would be doomed. Likewise, he wouldn''t have the confidence to
find out its ws if it had been a spear form.
This thought calmed him down a bit. It cleared his mind so that he could recount the past events.
He let the whole dance y out inside his head.
Upon recounting its movements, he found himself stunned once again.
It was indeed such a perfect de form! It had nine moves. Each movement contained a hundred
strikes.
Counting it all up, the Blood Thirst de form had nine hundred strikes all in all.
And among those nine hundred strikes, there were eight hundred and fifty-two ws! That meant only a
small number of de strikes were perfect. The rest were all wed.
Feeling a bit hopeful, Darren watched the de dance again, relying on his memory.
"A horizontal sh? There''s nothing wrong with that." He watched it several times again. If god''s power
was exerted in this sh, it would definitely divide the attack into hundreds of strands, hitting every vital
part of an enemy! Perfect!
But he couldn''t help but doubt his observation. After all, there were so many ws in the whole form.
There was only a small chance that this strike was wless.
With that, he observed it once more. This time even more carefully than before.
"Ah! I see it now. There is indeed a w in this first strike!" He had finallye to the conclusion after
watching it countless times.
The strike alone was absolutely perfect, but it still had its weaknesses. It wasn''tpatible with the
second strike at all! The second sh was to kill the enemy from seven hundred and twenty directions
all at once. It would require the de to fall from the sky. If a horizontal strike followed the second
sh, the movement would be weak and inefficient.
If the first strike was done upwards, the moves could go more smoothly. It would also reduce its god''s
power consumption.
''That''s it! The strikes may look perfect, but if you consider them as a whole, the form is indeed
wed.''
He now understood what the creator meant. The de form might look like a perfect cultivation
method at first nce, but it really needed to be improved.
With this understanding, he had almost forgotten that this was part of the test. He was more interested
in developing the de form.
''The second sh is also wed. It gives room for the enemy to escape!''
A real perfect de form would seal off all escape routes that the enemy could potentially use.
Leaving even the slightest opportunity could let the enemy get away.
