Chapter 1658 Taken To The Ghost Pce


    The Rejuvenation Hall was often used by Gilbert to heal and recuperate. It was one of the forbidden


    areas that was closed off to even his most trusted subordinates. Why was a human who had just


    ughtered a powerful official of the Shura Race allowed to enter it? The several other subordinates


    felt they must have misinterpreted what they heard.


    "Is there any problem?" Gilbert demanded with a frown.


    "No." Aldo quickly shook his head. Then he walked towards Rocky, held him up, and turned into a


    purple orange light whizzing through the sky.


    Meanwhile, a brilliant light suddenly appeared out of nowhere with a sh of Gilbert''s right hand. It


    immediately swallowed the Mystical Dragon Sword in his hand.


    He then turned around to walk towards his subordinates and whispered something.


    They looked at him in surprise upon hearing his words.


    "Once you''ve dealt with it, return to the Ghost Capital. I''ll report to the royal family first!" Gilbert


    commanded before he disappeared from where he stood.


    The subordinates gazed at each other, and soon rushed towards Jonathan''s minions. The poor minions


    were ughtered in the blink of an eye. Blood flowed like crimson rivers and pained screams could be


    heard all around.


    In no time, the minions became corpses. They would never know why they died!


    The several subordinates cleaned up the scene and burned all of the dead minions, humans, and


    beasts around the door to the alien world. They then returned to the Ghost Capital.


    A few hourster, Aldo and Rocky flew into the sky above the Ghost Capital. They looked down at the


    city which closely resembled the human race''s capital. The prosperous streets, the endless buildings,


    the continuous stream of Shura Race members who came and went and who were d in strange


    outfits weren''t hard to miss.


    Under Gilbert''s rule, the Ghost Capital was the main city of the Ghost Fief.


    Not long after, Aldo and Rocky swooped down from the air and entered Gilbert''s mansion. It was


    located in the center of the capital and was heavily guarded.


    Once Aldo and Rocky showed up, an old man dressed like a steward of the mansion appeared with


    several members. Realizing the unexpected visitor was Aldo, the old man immediately cupped his


    hands and said, "Master Aldo! Didn''t you leave with our leader? Why have you returned alone?"


    "I was ordered by our leader to bring this man back! You arrived just in time, Steward Peter. Have


    Esteban check on his injuries. If there''s nothing serious, send him to the Rejuvenation Hall. Have some


    guards watch him like hawks…" Aldo replied with an impassive look.


    "Rejuvenation Hall? Isn''t that where our leader lives? Who is this man?" the steward asked as he shot


    Rocky a bewildered look.


    "I don''t know, but that''s what the leader ordered," Aldo replied indifferently.


    "I see. Send him to Esteban and tell him that he is to be returned to our leader," Petermanded the


    other servants behind him swiftly.


    The servants immediately took Rocky from Aldo and carried him to the Ghost Pce where Esteban


    resided.


    Once they arrived at the pce, they immediately felt a chill run down their spines. Fear was written all


    over their faces. The pce was deathly gloomy and freezing. All around them, they were surrounded


    by various human and beast corpses.


    It was well known in the Ghost Fief that this famous doctor, despite his superb medical skills, was also


    labeled a freak. He often liked to dissect and study corpses. To preserve the corpses longer, the Ghost


    Pce was built on a huge ice jade that served as the base stone. This turned the entire pce as


    cold as an ice cave. Esteban was also quite unsociable and entric, which gave people all the more


    reason to not visit the pce.


    "Excuse me. Is Master Esteban here?" one of the servants shouted in a trembling voice.


    No one responded.


    "It seems he isn''t here!" The servants quickly looked at each other.


    "Why don''t we send him to the Rejuvenation Hall first? I can''t stand being in this damned ce for


    another second!" one of the servants proposed.


    The others nodded in agreement. But just as they were about to head to the hall with Rocky, a figure


    cloaked in ck suddenly appeared behind them silently. His voice was hoarse and low. "You''re not


    wee in this damned ce. Get out or you will end up like those corpses…"

    The servants were scared to death upon hearing these words. Before they could ry Peter''s


    instructions, they left Rocky and fled at lightning speed.


    Then, the light within the Ghost Pce began to brighten as the ck shadow drew nearer to Rocky.


    The mysterious figure was d in a grey robe and had a face that was no different from that of a


    human''s. He was the famous Doctor Esteban. He truly was a human because he didn''t emit the evil


    aura of the Shura Race.


    "Oh, it''s a human! Why was he sent to my Ghost Pce?" Esteban was slightly surprised but then


    began tough sinisterly. "He must be something special. Perhaps the leader wants me to examine him


    carefully. I''ll do that right now!" Upon saying that, he waved his hand to shut the pce door closed. He


    then picked up Rocky by the cor and dragged him deeper into the depths of the pce.


    One nightter.


    An exhausted Gilbert returned to his mansion. It was inevitable that he would be med by the royal


    family for the unusual movement of the door to the alien world. Fortunately, the royal family was


    unaware that the door was opened by a human and that there were a few people from the other world


    who managed to escape back to where they came from through it. The family would certainly feel on


    edge if they found out. Especially if they saw Rocky''s Mystical Dragon Sword, he was afraid this would


    cause a massive uproar throughout the Shura Race.


    This was exactly why Gilbert decided to keep this matter a secret for the sake of safety. He got rid of


    Jonathan''s subordinates who knew about the secret as well. Up until now, only he and a few of his


    trusted subordinates were aware that the door to the alien world had been opened.


    However, Gilbert didn''t rest once he returned. Instead, he went straight to the Rejuvenation Hall to


    figure out Rocky''s identity and history. Unfortunately, Rocky was nowhere to be found once he arrived


    at the hall. He immediately sent Aldo a message.


    Aldo appeared in the hall shortly after.


    "Where is the human I asked you to bring back?" Gilbert inquired with a serious look on his face.


    "After I returned, I handed him over to Steward Peter. I instructed him to send the man to Esteban to


    treat his injury. I guess he hasn''t been sent back because his injury is too serious?" Aldo immediately


    exined.


    "Is that so?" Just as Gilbert was thinking about whether he should go to the Ghost Pce or not, a


    servant suddenly reported that there was an ongoing invasion on the northwest border. The Shura


    Race members from another fief were invading their territory and the conflict was escting.


    Upon hearing this, Gilbert summoned his men and rushed towards the northwest border to deal with


    the urgent matter.
