Chapter 1468 A Good Way To Escape


    Suddenly, an idea popped into Rocky''s head. He shouted at Eunice, "Eunice, I found you atst!"


    "Huh? It''s you!" When Eunice first set her eyes on Rocky, she immediately recognized him. She could


    not mask the mild shock and anger on her delicate face. She never expected Rocky to show up there


    before she could look for him.


    "Eunice, it''s me! This is genuinely me! I''m your fiance! Don''t you remember me?" Rocky couldn''t get


    the bitterness out of his face.


    "What fiance? What the hell are you talking about?" Eunice suddenly fell into a rage.


    At that point, Ramon couldn''t resist looking at Rocky. Initially, he seemed confused, but soon he


    understood and could not help butugh a bit. He didn''t expect Rocky to use such a subversive tactic,


    but he thought Rocky had a n.


    The members of the Robber Regiment surrounding Rocky and Ramon heard them speak, and they all


    looked at each other in confusion. It was apparent that they did not know that Eunice had a fiance, and


    for most of them, her identity was a bit of a mystery. Only a few people in the Robber Regiment had


    seen her actual appearance. Though Eunice was not so strong, the members of the Robber Regiment


    heeded hermands.


    So, for a second, they couldn''t say if Rocky was telling the truth!


    "Eunice, there''s no denying it. I have traveled a long distance, over mountains and seas, and


    encountered many dangerous things along the way to find you. You can''t abandon me like this!" Rocky


    said it out loud, immediately putting his acting skills to work.


    "What an idiot! What are you guys waiting for? Hurry and take him down at once!" Eunice screamed


    out of frustration.


    "Who among you has the courage toe here? I''m your chief''s fiance. If you hurt me, you''re going to


    die!" Rocky dered a grave threat.


    The Robber Regiment members had a few qualms when they heard his words. It seemed as if nobody


    wanted to be the first to go up against him. If Rocky had a personal rtionship with Eunice, they


    would be seeking death if they attacked him!


    "He is not my fiance. Don''t allow him to deceive you." His antics ticked Eunice off. She didn''t expect


    Rocky to screw up her reputation so callously.


    "Eunice, I know it was my fault that I did not marry you before. Because of that, I couldn''t me you


    when you walked out on me. You did nothing wrong, and I figured out my mistake. So, I hope you will


    give me a chance," Rocky said with sadness as he continued with his drama.


    As he listened, Ramon admired Rocky''s acting ability. If he''d never met Rocky, he couldn''t tell if


    Rocky''s words were real.


    Due to Rocky''s natural talent in acting, the Robber Regiment members became even more confused


    and found it challenging to determine the truth, so the situation came to a standstill.


    "Stop fooling around, or I''ll kill you!" Eunice, who was quiet, became even more furious. She had never


    thought Rocky would be so shameless to dere that they were an engaged couple, and she could no


    longer tolerate his lie.


    "Look, a woman out of her mind is terrible. If you kill me, she''ll grow even more terrible," Rocky said


    with a stern look of caution.


    By that time, the old man in grey was getting suspicious and couldn''t stand watching it anymore, so he


    immediately asked, "Why would you think you''re her fiance? Do you have proof of that?"


    "If you want evidence, does a scar on her chest count?" Rocky retorted.


    "How do you know there''s a scar in my chest?" stunned, Eunice blurted out subconsciously, but soon


    she realized he had deceived her.


    Simultaneously, the members of the Robber Regiment believed Rocky''s statement more strongly after


    hearing Eunice''s words.


    "Because I''m your fiance!" Rocky firmly reiterated.


    "You bastard! I don''t give a damn who you are. I''m going to break you into a million pieces." Eunice


    red at Rocky with her round eyes opened wide, looking utterly infuriated.

    "First, if you want to kill me, do it yourself. I''m going to stay here, and I won''t fight back," Rocky


    responded with his hands behind his back.


    "In this case, I shall acknowledge your request. As for the rest of you, hold still. See how I cut him alive!


    Eunice showed no fear, for she thought her strength was more powerful than Rocky''s.


    The next minute, a furious Eunice stretched out her body and immediately rushed in front of Rocky.


    She flipped her palm and created several palm shadows covering Rocky.


    However, she never expected that a strong spiritual aura beyond hers woulde over her after


    launching an attack. Simultaneously, she felt a strange premonition.


    Before she could respond, Rocky suddenly crossed over the palm shadows. Within minutes, a dagger


    was pointing at her neck.


    Eunice''s expression drastically changed. It never urred to her that Rocky''s strength would suddenly


    be so powerful. She couldn''t even get out of his assault.


    "I never expected you to fall for it! I guess you couldn''t resist attacking me face to face..." Rocky


    sneered.


    "You..." It was only at that point that Eunice realized she had fallen into Rocky''s trap.


    When they saw Rocky holding Eunice at knifepoint, the Robber Regiment members appeared shocked

    we''re safe." Rocky smiled somewhat lewdly.


    "You are such a despicable person!" Eunice was miserable and filled with resentment. It never came to


    her mind that Rocky would fool her.


    "I''m just trying to be smart and look after myself." Rocky offered a smile.


    "Don''t mind me. Take them out right now." Eunice did not want them both to escape, so out of


    frustration, she promptly shouted an order to her men, who stood motionless and dared not to act


    rashly.


    How could they possibly take Eunice''s life for a joke? If anything terrible happened to her, they might


    receive punishment or even die. So, they couldn''t reach a decision.


    Even the old man in grey frowned deeply and did nothing foolish.


    "What are you standing around for? Come on. Get him now!" When she noticed they weren''t doing


    anything, Eunice grew even more upset.


    "Miss Eunice, it''s not a big deal to kill them. We''re concerned about what''s going to happen to you. We


    will get punished, and it will be tough for us to exin the incidentter on!" the old man exined at


    once.


    Eunice didn''t answer, but the old man had a point.
