    "How could it be possible?" It seems that Gorden is being serious! How could it be real?" all the


    warriors surrounding the area eximed in disbelief. They could not believe Gorden''s words. Although

    At the back of his mind, Ricky thought that perhaps his question would irritate Gorden. Still, he went on


    to ask his question anyway. He had to. He didn''t want to deal with any confusion when it came to


    himself.


    "You have great talent and a meticulous mind. With these two charactersbined, you are really


    qualified to be a strong warrior." Gorden wasn''t angered or irked by Ricky''s question. Instead, he


    replied and acknowledged it by giving him praises.


    "To be honest, I don''t know the reason either, because It wasn''t my sole decision to offer you the


    position as the sixth chief of the Casting Center."


    "What?" Ricky''s eyes were wide as saucers. "Are you saying it wasn''t you who made the decision?"


    Ricky asked in shock and confusion at Gorden''s revtion.


    "No, I didn''t. I am just the second chief of the Casting Center," Gorden stated so nonchntly, as if to


    remind Ricky that while he might hold power and authority in the Casting Center, that didn''t give him


    enough capacity to implement decisions and ns as drastic as offering Ricky the sixth seat of the


    Casting Center''s chiefs.


    "Sir, do you mean to say...that it was Master Todd who made the offer?" Ricky asked slowly and with


    disbelief. Simply thinking about the possibility made him extremely surprised.


    "Good job! You are correct!" Gorden eximed.


    "But how is that possible? I even don''t know him. And even if he does know me, it simply doesn''t add


    up. It is just weird for him to even think about making me the sixth chief of the Casting Center," Ricky


    said with disbelief. He felt so unreal when he heard Gorden confirm that it was, in fact, Todd who


    wanted him to be the sixth chief.


    "As a matter of fact, I am also confused. Todd has not shown himself for decades. How and why could


    he make such a decision? What''s more, he has been in seclusion in recent years, and so it''s


    impossible for him to know who you are. But a few days ago, he sent a message to me and asked me


    to invite you to join the Casting Center as the sixth chief," Gorden exined as he nodded his head

    "Tina, I don''t know what I should do now. Should I say yes or no? I''m totally confused," Ricky then


    asked Tina through telepathy. He would usually turn to Soar and Tina for advice when he had no idea


    how to deal with a tricky situation.


    "Ricky, I''ve told you that epting the offer would bring you more advantages than disadvantages. We


    can just stop thinking about why Master Todd made such an offer to you," Tina replied, reinforcing her


    initial answer to Ricky''s question. "Moreover, even if, say, Master Todd has bad intentions set up for


    you, you would still be unable to escape him whether you are the sixth chief of the Casting Center or


    not. So why not just ept the offer?"

    excited, while some were dismayed. The onlookers around began their discussion upon hearing


    Ricky''s positive reply.


    "Does...does he really think that he is capable enough to be the sixth chief and hold his own in the


    Casting Center?" More and more envious and doubtful onlookers sneered at Ricky''s eptance. They


    had admired Ricky, but now, it seemed the admiration burst as quickly as a bubble and was now


    reced by disdain.


    "I think he''s really biting off more than he can chew! I admit that he is gifted and talented. But I


    seriously doubt his ability to be the sixth chief of the Casting Center," one of them added.


    They really weren''t mincing words.


    "Ha-ha! Well, I''m d to hear that. Since you have agreed, I hereby dere that you will be the sixth


    chief of the Casting Center from here on," Gorden expressed with a smile on his face after he heard


    Ricky''s reply. He didn''t think that Ricky was overconfident at all. Otherwise, Ricky would not have


    asked him secretly.


    Ricky was still in a trance. He came to the Casting Center only to win some treasures. But why did he


    end up being the sixth chief of the Casting Center?


    "Wait!" Suddenly, a voice came out to stop it. It was none other than Sellers—the third chief of the


    Casting Center.


    Sellers appeared out of nowhere. Actually, he did not want to show up there at all. But he had to. He


    was on a mission to stop Ricky from being the sixth chief of the Casting Center. What was more, there


    were a dozen of middle-aged and old warriors following him from behind. Judging from the powers and


    momentums they were releasing, it could be told that they were casting masters at the intermediate

    decision."


    "Really?" Gorden raised his eyebrows, leaning back a little. "So, do you all agree with Sellers?" Gorden


    turned to ask the people standing behind Sellers. Gorden was not taken aback by his intervention.


    His voice was soft, yet there was a hint of anger in it.


    These casting masters, of course, felt the slight anger emanated by Gorden. At that moment, they


    suddenly became a little scared. They then hesitated and said, "Gorden, we are simply following the


    rules of the Casting Center."


    "The rules?" Gorden crossed his arms. He was starting to feel impatient. "Let me ask you this. Who do


    you think will have the final say in the Casting Center?" Gorden asked in a chilly and condescending


    tone.


    "Of course, it would be Todd and you!" they all answered at once without hesitation.


    "I''m d you are keeping that in mind. Todd and I have the final say and we make the rules. Now that


    Todd is not around, I will be the one who decides everything. If you are here to question me, I implore


    you toe and challenge me the moment you grow stronger than me." Gorden was not going to


    waste any more time with Sellers and his band of naysayers.


    Gorden''s fearless reply left the casting masters shocked and shivering. It dawned upon them that the


    man in front of them was not only a casting master of Demi-sage Level, but also a supreme spiritual


    emperor.


    They began to feel regretful. Why did theye with Sellers to stop a decision which had been made


    by Gorden in the first ce? Where did their courage to threaten a spiritual emperor and casting


    master of Demi-saint Levele from? They all realized that they were asking for death by doing so.


    Sellers''s eyes could clearly be seen being clouded with gloom.


    He really couldn''t understand why Gorden would have made such a decision. What Sellers didn''t know


    was that even Gorden himself didn''t fully grasp the motivation behind Todd''s big decision.
