Chapter 741 Keeping The Oath
Only Ricky and his fellows remained at the spot. They all wore confused expressions on their faces,
unable to understand what had just happened.
Gentry had warned them they could not move the iron core at the heart of the colossus. Ricky didn''t
take his warning as a trick intended to frighten them. Otherwise, Gentry wouldn''t have left so easily.
Rick had figured out how much Gentry craved the iron core. This was clear by the look in his eyes.
However, the mysterious axe deep in Ricky''s Soul Sea was still shaking. The mere fact told him that he
had to get the iron core himself.
''Perhaps nobody but the chief of the Sky Manor knows something about this, '' Ricky thought to himself.
"Thank you for helping us, Ricky. In case you need our help in the future, please don''t hesitate to let us
know," the lord of the Imperial Pce of Wildness and the chief of the Casting Guild told him.
"Now excuse us for leaving. And please set your heart at ease. We assure you nobody will ever know
about anything that had happened here."
Both men had lingered on the verge of death for several times recently. Everything they had witnessed
seemed too incredible to ingest all at once. As for now, their major desire was to walk out of that ce
as soon as they could.
It was quite possible they wouldn''t tell a living soul about what had happened even if they hadn''t made
the Martial Arts Oath. They wouldn''t dare to provoke Connor or Gentry, and certainly not Ricky either.
"That would be great! I really appreciate it from both of you." Ricky nodded before being left to watch

"The Celestial Army, Connor, Gentry...Where do theye from? And what is this iron core? Do you
believe that we really can''t move it?" Soar asked in confusion after the lord of the Imperial Pce of
Wildness and the chief of the Casting Guild left.
Still babbling with his inquiries, Soar stretched his hand in an attempt to pick up the iron core at the
heart of the colossus.
"Don''t touch it, Soar. ording to Gentry, there may be a powerful taboo on it that we can''t get rid of.
Besides, this should belong to the Sky Manor." Ricky raised his voice and Soar froze.
"Let''s just forget everything that happened here until we get strong enough."
"Okay, then." Soar lifted both his hands frightened.
As they agreed not to do anything about the iron for the time being, they also left the space.
Afterwards, Ricky told Scar, Soar and the other fellows to leave for the Misty South Pce. He would
stay behind at the Sky Manor waiting for the chief of the Sky Manor to wake up. In reality, Ricky had an
ulterior motive behind his decision. Eagerly to take the iron core at the heart of the colossus, he
intended to gather more information about it.
The hint given by the mysterious axe was urging him to get the ck iron.
It took two days and the help of the Chaotic Fire Zone for the chief of the Sky Manor to recover and to
finally wake up. When she first opened her eyes, confusion hit her hard. At the sight of Ricky, she
gasped in surprise until realization of thest events gradually started to kick in.
After all her memories fell back into ce, Ricky told the Chief of the Sky Manor about everything that
had urred while she was unconscious.
"It''s just unbelievable. I didn''t expect you to grow so strong after leaving here for less than two years,"
she sighed, emotionally charged by hearing Ricky''s tale. "Thank you very much for rescuing me this
time. I would have died without a clue of what had hit me if you didn''te."
"Chief, where are Kristen and Tyson?" Ricky finally asked.
"Don''t worry about them. Just set your heart at ease. They went to other realms to look for their own
opportunities shortly after you went to Oriental College," the chief assured him.
"It''s great to hear that," Ricky said relieved as he nodded.
"Madam, please forgive me for my curiosity. But I really want to know more about the so-called
Celestial Army. Do you know where they as well as Connor and Gentrye from?" he asked.
"Everything seems just so weird.
This was supposed to be a secret. But you''ve rescued me and I believe I can tell you about this," the
chief of the Sky Manor said.
"The truth is I really have no idea where those peoplee from. What I''m going to tell you is about
the iron core at the heart of the colossus.
I think this can be traced to the ancient times. Back then, there was a force called Sky Dome. It was the
most powerful force in all the four continents," she exined.
''Sky Dome?'' Ricky thought to himself. ''I''ve heard that name from both Alva and Gentry already.''
"However,ter the devils invaded the continents. As a result, many strong warriors in the Sky Dome
were killed while it copsed. So, arge organization was divided into eight smaller forces that were
based in the four continents.
The chief of the Sky Dome gave the leaders of the eight forces each a space respectively, where they
and their offspring should guard with their lives," she continued.
"For what you''re saying, it seems that the Sky Manor is one of the eight forces and the ck iron in the
center of that space is the thing you should guard with your lives," Ricky concluded.
"You''re right. This involves our ancestor''s oath, so we must always bear it in mind. But even our
ancestor didn''t know what the ck iron is. I was told that only two kinds of creatures can obtain it with
the help of my blood essence and fortune," the chief of the Sky Manor revealed.
"Which two kinds of creatures?" Ricky asked, intrigued.
"The first kind is creatures who possess divine blood power, such as Connor and Gentry," the Chief of
the Sky Manor answered. "And the second is creatures that are tied together with us by destiny, though
I''m not sure how that works.
ording to my ancestor, once a destined creaturees to us, we have to give the ck iron to him.
That will mean we have fulfilled our oath of guarding it with our lives.
Many years passed, but nothing special happened. We had almost forgotten everything about that. I
didn''t expect that a mysterious force woulde to attempt to take it away. Unfortunately, It seems that
the space is no longer safe here."
"Chief, would you like to give me a chance? I want to have a try. I believe I''m the destined person,"
Ricky blurted out all of a sudden.
The chief of the Sky Manor gazed at Ricky, quite struck dumb at his words for a while.
"This is not a jest, Ricky," she warned him as soon as she came back to her senses. "If you are not the
destined one, you will be shocked by the taboo on the ck iron to death."
"I wouldn''t have suggested it if I wasn''t sure of it," Ricky argued with an unshakable determination in
his voice.
The chief of the Sky Manor fell silent by his conviction. However, her face remained nk as she
considered his plea.
A few momentster, she replied, "Fine. Since you''re so determined, I won''t try to stop you. I can only
hope you''re right in being so confident in yourself."
"Thank you!" Ricky said earnestly.
The chief of the Sky Manor nodded and requested Ricky to follow her up to the space. When they got
there, they both stood still in front of the colossus.
"Chief, Connor said that the fortune of spiritual kings in the Realm of Wildness is needed. What can be
done about that?" Ricky inquired. "That was the reason he wanted to kill us."
"Yes, the fortune is needed. But it is unnecessary to kill spiritual kings because of that," the chief of the
Sky Manor rified.
"What do you mean? What can I do?"
"Only a drop of your blood essence is needed, because it already contains your fortune. Then, when
your fortune merges with my blood essence, the fortune can show up," the chief of the Sky Manor told
him.
"I see. But what about other spiritual kings?"
"You''re a genius in the Realm of Wildness. Your fortune is enough," she firmly stated.
Without any further question in the way, Ricky and the chief of the Sky Manor positioned themselves
and respectively collected a drop of their blood essence from between their eyebrows as they got
started.
