An intense aura emitted from Ricky and Pearl. Then, the fierce fight between them started in the blink
of an eye. Suddenly, their Ultimate Domains crashed towards each other like waves, as they collided
head-on with a deafening bang.
"Pearl, you''d better ept my offer. Otherwise, you are doomed to fail in this battle," Ricky said in a
low voice. His eyes narrowed as he looked down upon her from his position in the air. Mighty rays of
golden lightning crackled from within him, punctuating his cold stare.
Forcing a woman was not the kind of thing he would do, but he was left with no other choice.
"In your dreams! You are nothing but a loser in my eyes. Let me teach you a lesson!" Pearl''s voice was
tempered steel, her seething rage just as cold and sharp. The chill in her voice seemed to creep
towards other parts of her body. Her eyes suffered the most dramatic change. An unnatural sheen fell
over them as if a darkke flooded and froze over her irises.
Her body changed too. The innate energy continued to umte inside her. Icy veins pulsed with the
exertion, emphasizing the strain as her body reached its limit, and then it calmed. She activated her
Feminine Mutant. Pearl transformed into a dark queen with a murderous aura. She took the form of a
crystalline sculpture, colored only by the shadows trapped within her ice, her body brimmed with mighty
power.
Amid the turmoil of the Dark Gloomy Enlightenment, great surges of dark water flowed freely from
Pearl''s body, flooding the surrounding area. The chilling air of the gloomy ice pervaded through the
field.
"That''s impressive. I can''t believe she possesses the dark water. To the best of my knowledge, one can
resist the attack of the dark ice only when possessing the Feminine Mutant," Jacob murmured to
himself. His jaw dropped. It never urred to him that Pearl might have had a few tricks up her sleeve.
"If my memory serves me right, the dark water is the prize when one passes the second test in the
Heavenly Passage. There is a high chance the young man''s life will be on the line this time.
I''m afraid that this battle would be long and fraught with danger since Ricky is not a spiritual emperor."
he analyzed as his brows furrowed in worry.
"The Feminine Mutant is so powerful! I can''t believe that you can activate the dark water in such a short
amount of time," Ricky told Pearl as he sensed the strength that radiated from her.
"But one thing you should be aware of is that the dark water can''t hurt me."
''What did he say? He doesn''t fear the dark water at all?'' Staring at Ricky, Jacob waspletely
dumbfounded by what he said. He wondered how a middle spiritual king would be able to withstand the
dark water.
Suddenly, the raging sound of zing mes erupted from Ricky''s body.
Before they could blink, Ricky''s body glowed brighter, as the Heaven Illuminating Fire erupted. The
gloomy ice that was expanding retreated in great yards, faster than it had spread. It seemed to flee
from the lick of fire that covered Ricky''s body. It stayed still far away, and an eerie silence fell upon the
scene as the world stilled, in an impasse.
It took a long time before Jacob, who was once a spiritual emperor, could recover from the shock. He
gaped at Ricky. His mouth hung open as a mixed feeling of admiration and horror washed over him.
"Judging from its endless power, these ck mes must be a sign of the Heaven Illuminating Fire, so
potent that it can burn everything to death," Jacob muttered after a beat, finally able topose
himself.
"But how could that happen? It doesn''t make sense at all! I clearly remember that Ricky doesn''t
possess the Heaven Illuminating Eyes. How did he manage to control the Heaven Illuminating Fire?"
he said as he marveled at Ricky''s performance. He understood then that he had underestimated
Ricky''s power in the first ce.
''Now, I''m dying to see what will happen next. This battle will be a lot more interesting than before, '' he
quietly thought to himself. Since he was a spiritual emperor from ancient times, there was no doubt that
he had experienced all sorts of shocking news. After regaining hisposure, he was able to analyze
the situation with a clear head.
The secret behind Ricky''s abilities was something that still alluded him though, and he desperately
wanted to know the answer.
''Ha-ha. It was sensible of me to arrange a test for them in here. If it had not been for that, I would never
have had a chance to experience this fascinating battle, ''
Jacob thought to himself. He felt giddy with excitement.
"Your ck mes are indeed powerful, but there is still a world of difference between us. With your
current strength, you won''t stand a chance of defeating me. We are standing in the Dark and Light
Rock Array, and I possess the Feminine Mutant." Pearl''s voice boomed out as her lips curled into a
smug smile. When she sensed Ricky''s Heaven Illuminating Fire, her face grew more severe. Even
under enormous pressure, she still hadplete confidence that the battle was in her pocket, no
matter how powerful Ricky was.
"Then let''s wait and see. I knew fighting you was unavoidable in the first ce. So, save your breath
and let''s get started!" Ricky growled. He held his jaw tight, not showing the slightest quiver from fear.
As his voice faded away, his body instantly extended. The whole area filled with terror as he activated
the second level of Ultimate Golden Body.
"His golden body is so domineering. And I assume that this isn''t as simple as it looks, just like his
Heaven Illuminating Fire," Jacob stated, suspicion tinging his voice as his eyes narrowed. "Maybe this
is the secret weapon he has that makes me believe that he''s more powerful than the owner of
Massacring Mutant."
Boom! Boom! As Ricky activated the second level of Ultimate Golden Body, Pearl immediately
countered with the spiritual emperor''s blood power. The Dark Gloomy Enlightenment soon fused with
the dark water in her veins and gave her a devil''s body that matched Ricky''s monumental height.
"Massacring Omnipotent Skill—Massacring Golden Palm!" Ricky roared as he lunged his palm towards
Pearl. The extreme power of the Omnipotent Skill exploded within Ricky''s body. A golden palm shot up
into the air, before ricocheting back into the ground with its full strength. The ground shook upon
impact. The resulting tremors carried with them an oppressive atmosphere as they reverberated
through the area.
The Massacring Sand circled above the Massacring Golden Palm, dancing with four other kinds of
runic powers, to create mighty rays of intense lightning.
If Ricky hadn''t used the Heaven Illuminating Fire as protection against Pearl''s power, he would have
been frozen into an ice sculpture before he could take a step closer to her.
Ricky thought that since he had made his decision, it was toote to regret it. He left himself no other
choice than to bite his teeth and fight till the end. Even though the battle was filled with danger, he
prepared himself to face any hardship that Pearl might throw his way. He nned to bring out some of
his best skills first, in the hopes of overwhelming her.
"Have a taste of my Dark Gloomy Whip!"
Pearl snarled, with her eyes as sharp as daggers. Her perfect body went through a ferocious change
as she spoke. An alluring aura emanated from her body and it seemed to be particrly attractive for
male. Maybe all those who had the Feminine Mutant possessed this property to a certain degree.
In the next moment, the devil shadow behind her back frantically opened its mouth, calling forth
endless Dark Gloomy Enlightenment. The dark water that swirled around her body then turned into a
boa, fiercely waving its head in the air.
The entire sky was entangled in her long ck whip before anyone could sputter a gasp. In the heart of

this darkness, the Dark Gloomy Whip and the Massacring Golden Palm fiercely collided with each
other.
Rays of lightning shed in the sky and, with them, came a rolling rumble. It was a ghastly sound,
mixing the crack of thunder in the sky and the roar of an earthquake onnd. The entire space caved in
with the destructive force of their power. In the aftermath of their fierce collision, everything suddenly
felt clear and fresh to them again. The intertwined airwaves that the collision created gave way to the
sound of endless ripples, which smothered even the smallest of noises.
Since they were in the Dark and Light Rock Array, when this space exploded, the array''s power would
pervade through the air and repair the broken pieces in the blink of an eye.
Ricky and Pearl were pushed back in great strides by the intense waves of power. It was also their first
time to experience the power of the Dark and Light Rock Array.
They all felt the array''s unbeatable strength. Time seemed to rewind as they watched the array mend
itself back together to create an almost pristine space. It was a disy of extremely potent power,
making it clear that it was way stronger than them all.
Almost simultaneously, it urred to them that if they wanted to get out of here, they would have no
choice but to learn the Dark and Light Dual Cultivation Method.
"Pearl, I believe that you saw it too. It is beyond our capacity to break the power of the Dark and Light
Rock Array. So I think..." Ricky trailed, trying to persuade her to ept his offer again. His face grew
severer as he analyzed the critical situation.
Ricky felt shy, too, of asking the same thing from a woman who had already made her refusal clear.
However, there was no other choice. He didn''t want to die here and turn into one of the floating rocks in
this scary ce for the rest of his life. That was thest thing he wanted.
"Stop dreaming about that! I will beat the hell out of you!" The edge in Pearl''s voice brokered no
arguments and she was rigid in her refusal. A look ofplete disdain appeared on her face as she
stared straight at Ricky.
"Feminine Devouring Skill!" Pearl roared as she summoned her skill.
As her voice faded away, a domineering aura exuded from within Pearl. The fierce eyes of the dark
shadow behind her suddenly opened again, forming into two dark awls. To Ricky''s surprise, they didn''t
fly towards him. Instead, they dashed towards the dark area of the Dark and Light Rock Array at full
speed.
Wherever the dark awls went, they frantically absorbed the remnants of Dark Gloomy Enlightenment in
the air. All the power that had been assimted then transferred into Pearl''s body, enriching her
strength.
"I can''t believe that her Feminine Devouring Skill can work like that!" Ricky murmured to himself in
surprise as his face grew serious. A feeling of anxiety washed over him as he started to worry about his
future.
