Chapter 662 The Unexpected
Everyone turned to their backs as the voice spoke to them. They wanted to see who it was that would
dare challenge the five well-acknowledged warriors.
Not letting the suspense linger any longer, Thiago jumped up andnded in front of the five Holy Ant
tforms.
"It''s Thiago. How can it be Thiago?" Most of the warriors were in shock at the revtion of the person
behind the voice.
They were well-aware that Thiago was an outer disciple of the Oriental College. It was possible that
Thiago might be more talented and powerfulpared to them.
Still, despite his advanced powers and abilities, it was not enough to match the strength of Ricky and
the other four.
Daisy and Terrence were even more confused because they knew about Thiago''s power.
"Daisy, what is Thiago nning to do?" Terrence asked through telepathy.
"Maybe he just wanted to try and test his power. We all know that, although Thiago doesn''t talk much,
he still has strong opinions about his capabilities and the strength of those around him," Daisy
exined. "Perhaps, he seeded in drawing another powerful array recently, and he has improved
his strength."
"Is that so? But still, Thiago should''ve told us first!" Soar butted in. "Who is Thiago challenging, then?"

"I don''t know!"
a confused Ricky answered in exasperation. In the midst of his confusion, Ricky used his internal
power to warn Thiago, "Thiago, be careful. Also, you''re not nning on challenge me, are you?"
"Ricky, I''m prepared to lose the challenge. You see, I''ve recently learned a new array and it can only be
solved by geniuses who possess the level of skill and strength that you have. That''s why I want to take
this opportunity to test the power of the array. This is the best and only way I can have a deeper
understanding of it," Thiago explicated, trying his best to pacify Ricky''s bewilderment.
"I see." Ricky came to his senses upon hearing Thiago''s exnation. On the other hand, there lingered
an uneasy feeling deep inside Ricky. He couldn''t pinpoint what it was, but there seemed to be
something off with Thiago''s words.
Pearl was surprised as well. But Henry and Yori were the only ones who remained calm as always.
They acted as though no one had challenged them.
"Thiago, I never imagined that you would have the guts to challenge us!" Ronson eximed scornfully,
crossing his arms in front of his chest.
"Ronson, it seems that you are looking down on me." Thiago was irked. He wasn''t a fan of Ronson,
either.
"Of course. I don''t think anyone here is capable of challenging us." Ronson shut his eyes and turned
his head to the side stubbornly. When he opened his eyes, his gaze was hot and beaming with fury. "If
anyone dares to challenge me, I will show them just how puny and worthless they really are."
"You''re dead-set on killing someone. Sorry to burst your murderous bubble, but it won''t scare me off."
Thiago remained calm in the face of Ronson''s deliberate death threat. "There is no doubt about it. It is
you that I am challenging."
Wasting no more second, Thiago jumped onto Ronson''spetition tform.
"Thiago chose Ronson. If he loses, Ronson will not spare his life and he will not think twice about killing
him. It would''ve been better if he challenged Henry. At the very least, Henry promised us he wouldn''t
kill anyone," all the other warriors said in agreement after watching Thiago leap his way to Ronson''s
"I really can''t tell if Thiago''s being arrogant or if he''s really just oozing with confidence. Even he is an
array deployer, Ronson probably won''t give him a chance to formte an array!"
There were all kinds of discussions, and everyone thought and expected Thiago would die in the end.
Even Ricky and Daisy felt the same. They shared the same opinion with most of the warriors: Thiago
was incapable of defeating Ronson.
"What in the world is Thiago thinking!?" Ricky was baffled by Thiago''s hasty and unexpected actions.
Although he wasn''t particrly close to Thiago, Ricky thought of Thiago as someone who wouldn''t do
anything rashly.
"Ricky, do you think Thiago will seed?" Henry asked him. He, too,municated his thoughts using
his internal power.
"Well, I admit that I have confidence in Thiago. And I believe in the power of his array," Ricky answered
resolutely. But, there was a part of him that didn''t understand the reason why Henry would ask him that.
"Are you sure? But you look really worried," Henry queried. "But, I am confident in Thiago. Actually, I
am extremely confident in him.
Ricky, would you like make a bet with me? I think Thiago will crush Ronson."
Ricky grew even more confused at Henry''s proposal. He didn''t understand what Henry meant. Henry
barely knew Thiago, so howe he seemed to have more confidence in Thiago than he did?
"I''ll pass!" Ricky replied curtly.
At this moment, Ricky was more and more puzzled. He didn''t expect that any of these would happen.
First was Henry, and now, it was Thiago. To top it off, Thiago was even someone he was very familiar
with.
"Ha-ha! I never thought an ace genius like you would ever back off," Henryughed at how Ricky
rejected his proposal.
"An ace genius would still have his own apprehensions. I never thought for one second that I am more
talented than you are," Ricky explicated using his internal power. It felt strange for Ricky to exin his
emotions and reactions. Although there was no dire need for it, he still felt it was appropriate to rify
how the situation was affecting him in general.
Ricky then went on and ignored Henry. He shifted his focus on the Holy Ant tform where Thiago and
Ronson both stood.
''Thiago, were you hiding your true power all this time?'' Ricky thought. He did wish that nothing bad
would happen.
Daisy and the others all felt that there was something different about Thiago.
However, just like Ricky, they, too were having difficulty trying to pinpoint what exactly had changed
about theirpanion.
"Thiago, how dare you challenge me!? I will cut you into pieces! You know no one would me me for
kill you in the arena, right? Even if the spiritual emperor of your Oriental College were here, he wouldn''t
be able to stop me," Ronson yelled with a hideous look on his face. Seeing Thiago actually jump on his
Holy Ant tform had really set him off.
Quite frankly, the only real reason why Thiago chose him as his opponent was because he was
regarded as the weakest among the five people.
It enraged him deeply.
"I will prove you wrong with my own performance," Thiago replied calmly, unaffected by Ronson''s
relentless words.
Boom! A huge burst of energy emerged, and a green line appeared. The green line was an obvious
mark that Thiago was an array deployer of intermediate King Level.
"You damned array deployer, I will rip your array apart!" Ronson called out with a thunderous roar.
The next moment, Ronson''s energy was also about to break its limits, and the supreme enlightenment
started to suppress it.

tform.
