"Do you know what the jade tablet of a demi-spiritual-emperor force is used for?" Scar asked in
surprise after hearing what Ricky had said.
"Back when I got the jade tablet, it was to help me enter the Oriental College, because I was only a
demi-immortal and it was highly likely that I would be denied ess to such a renowned college,"
Ricky answered honestly.
"That makes sense!" Scar replied lightly.

"If Keyon doesn''t want to anger the Zhang n, he will give up. If he still insists on taking Madeline

"Let''s give it our best shot!" Ricky said. "Soar, you need to make sure to get your temper under control
when we face him in three days. I promise you that Keyon will be all yours in ten days. You just need to

"I understand, Ricky," Soar replied with a quick nod. He had realized that they were on the weaker side
in that situation.
Then, Ricky and hispanions rested up at the Saber Hall, waiting patiently for whatever wasing
their way in three days. Ricky was more concerned about getting the Quintessence of Heaven and
Earth though.
Madeline had always been curious about the rtionship between Scar and Ricky, because she was
able to tell that Scar treated Ricky with great respect. What made her even more curious about it was
that neither Ricky nor Soar had influential power standing behind them.
Madeline asked Ricky about it. "Scar works for me, so he has to treat his superiors seriously," was the
only answer she got from Ricky.
Since she wasn''t satisfied with Ricky''s reply, she decided to try and ask Soar. To her surprise, Soar
gave her the same answer. Soar wouldn''t tell her that Scar was actually Ricky''s servant though.
Soar''s cryptic reply angered Madeline. She decided to push him further and furiously demanded, "Soar,
if you dare to lie to my face once again, you''ll lose me forever."
Madeline''s strategy worked and Soar was frightened by what she said, though he still kept his mouth
shut tightly.

Three days passed quickly. As Scar said, a group of warriors came and knocked on the door of the
Saber Hall.
The leading one was a young, handsome, and elegant warrior in a golden garment. His eyes were as
sharp as two knives. If anyone looked right into his eyes, they would feel as if they were being
prated by such knives.
Standing behind him was an elder in cyan garment. Ricky knew the elder was called Jim. He was a
Another middle-aged warrior in their group looked like a schr. He was Josiah, leader of the Spear
Hall, and apleted spiritual king.
Scar also used his internal power to introduce the other two young warriors standing behind Josiah.
One was Banka, and the other one was Benson. They were two well-known geniuses and would fight
for the Spear Hall beside Keyon.
"Haha, Scar, have you figured out what to do next? If you hand the girl I want over to me, the Saber
Hall will have our gratitude; we can be friends. Besides, when I get the Quintessence of Heaven and

Keyon irked Soar. If Ricky hadn''t put his hand on Soar''s shoulder and held him back, he would have

wants to stay or leave," Scar replied shortly.

"You''re right. She told me that she didn''t want to leave, so I wouldn''t let anyone take her. The Saber
Hall would beughed at by other warriors if we didn''t protect our members," Scar answered.

coldly.
Meanwhile, he nced back at Josiah and Jim, who were standing behind him, giving them a signal
that it was time for them to act.
"Keyon, it''s still too early to start a fight," Madeline said mockingly when she saw that Keyon and his
men were about to pounce.
"What? Have you changed your mind?" Keyon asked excitedly, a big smile shing across his face. He
thought that Madeline might have decided to go with him after all.
"Although you''re from a demi-spiritual-emperor force, I don''t like you. I just want to tell you that your
threats mean nothing to me," Madeline answered lightly.
If she hadn''t been afraid of Jim, then she would have already moved forward and punched Keyon in his
ugly face.
"Now, you''re being a silly girl!" Keyon barked at Madeline furiously.
Before he could finish speaking, Madeline turned her right palm over and a white jade tablet appeared
in her hand.
Keyon, Jim and Josiah were shocked by what they saw. They recognized it instantly, and clearly knew
what it meant.
"How is this possible? How did you get it? Will the Zhang n really be helping you guys?" Keyon
asked incredulously.
Meanwhile, his eyes scanned Ricky and Soar, but he found nothing strange about them. They weren''t
from the Zhang n.
Keyon had met all the innate spiritual kings of the younger generation from the Zhang n before.
Besides, he couldn''t sense the aura of the Zhang n from either Ricky or Soar. Most warriors from
the n were cultivating the power of flushing tree, except Jasper, who was a peerless genius.
"How I got it is none of your business. If you bother us again, I will be forced to break it," Madeline
threatened.
Keyon harrumphed in frustration. "Don''t be so naive. I won''t just give you up because you threaten to

that critical moment. He had to prevent Madeline from breaking the jade tablet.
Meanwhile, he gave Keyon a hard re and told him to stop babbling such nonsense.
Keyon reluctantly agreed to apromise and left with his people. He couldn''t just ignore Jim''s signal,
after all.
Josiah was greatly disappointed. He had expected the total destruction of the Saber Hall within a day.
