But just when he was almost done with creating the shield, he heard something snap. Apparently, his
shield could not offer protection as it cracked on its first contact with Ricky''s powerful Gale Strike.
Recoiling in pain, Ray let out a terrifying scream and spat blood. Dislodged from his stable path of flight
in the sky, he came tumbling down like a shooting star. With a loud thud, he fell on the ground, stirring
up a cloud of dust.
"me Torrent!" Ricky thundered. At this rate, the next attack could well be the final nail in the coffin for
Ray, who was now cornered and outsmarted in every way. To kill his enemy on the next and final
assault, Ricky activated his chaotic fire runes, which turned into roaring mes instantly and dashed
towards Ray.
As the dust settled, the raging inferno receded, pulled by an invisible force to one particr point. On
and on, until it was finally a small ball from which Ricky reemerged, popping up in midair.
Everything fell eerily silent, all spellbound by Ricky''s heroics. Even the demi-spiritual emperors up in
the sky were left gasping. In particr, the three demi-spiritual emperors of the Luxurious Chamber of
Commerce were shocked and humiliated due to the defeat Ray had suffered.
To say that Ricky had left them shocked would be an understatement. The waves of emotion going
through their minds were a mixture of such intense anger, sorrow and frustration that they wished to get
hold of Ricky and strangle him.
It was a long time before anyone recovered from the shock of what they had just witnessed. The
immediate thought that worried them was whether Ray would survive.
"That''s impossible. I guess the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce must have given Ray a trump card
ahead of such a life-and-death battle. I can''t imagine they could let hime to such a match without
adequate preparation," a voice said.

''If it turns out that the leadership of the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce had given Ray a trump card
with invisible power, there would be a reason for me to tread cautiously, '' Ricky thought.
"Ricky, I have released the sealing array on the airship. You can summon Doris''s spiritual hologram at
any time," Tina informed him through their telepathic link.
