Chapter 1495 The Further Evolution Of Silvery Eyes

The iron chain pierced through the chest of the Rule Soul Avatar. In that instant, something unexpected

    happened.

Strong gusts of wind surged around the Rule Soul Avatar,

    forming a dense whirlwind.

Although it was hard to see with naked eyes, the tall, thin man in ck noticed that wisps of silvery light

were being transmitted into the Rule Soul Avatar''s body along the iron chain. He could detect this

    through his god''s sense.

The man in ck frowned. He didn''t know whether he should stop the unexpected development, or

    simply let it continue.

Darren, sitting to one side, caught his breath and struggled to recover from the pain. He hadn''t noticed

anything wrong with the Rule Soul Avatar.

"How did you feel just now?" the man in ck asked Darren,

deciding to ignore the Rule Soul Avatar for the moment.

A Defiant Master was not allowed to believe in a supreme god. If the man in ck allowed the iron

chain to continue prating through Darren''s body, piercing his heart, then Darren would certainly

    have died.

Of course, the tall man in ck didn''t actually care about Darren''s life. Indeed, he wouldn''t have

minded at all if Darren died right now. However, he decided to extract the iron chain from Darren''s body

because he felt that he shouldn''t let the blood of a Defiant Master stain the supreme gods'' cemetery.

"I felt as though my heart was being ripped into pieces," Darren replied.

    "Nothing else?"

"No." Darren still felt shaky and somewhat groggy from the pain.

The man in ck frowned briefly, then said, "Please enjoy yourself. After the memorial ceremony,

though, you must leave here quickly. If you are still in the cemetery when I return, I will not be polite to

you again." With that, the tall, thin man in ck turned away. Looking put out, he left Darren there.

Darren stayed where he was. He found the man in ck to be inexplicably strange. He seemed to be

hostile to him, but the hostility was casual rather than fueled by any strong anger. It was really weird.

Finally, a small smile formed on Darren''s face as he shook his head and decided to stop obsessing

    over the man in ck.

Meanwhile, the man in ck marched all the way to the coast.

He eventually reached an incredibly high cliff, which rose millions of feet above the sea. It was densely

engraved with a seemingly infinite amount of ancient words.

A thick ck iron chain jutted out from the middle of the cliff. Every ten feet, there was an overhead

hook, upon which hung human figures.

The hanging humans were not dressed in ck hooded cloaks, so their faces were clearly revealed.

As the tall, thin man approached them, he also removed his cloak. The ck hood fell back, revealing

a handsome face and a toned, slender body.

A closer look, however, revealed that the pupils of his eyes were deep dark red. His gaze was maic

    and frightening.

None of the humans hanging on the overhead hooks moved, but a hoarse voice suddenly spoke up.

    "Heath, why have you returned?"

"I encountered a bottleneck," Heath replied. As he spoke, he flew up, gliding towards the thick ck

    iron chain.

Without hesitation, he stabbed an overhead hook through his left shoulder. "Ouch!" he muttered, his

face twitching. Then he grabbed another hook and stabbed it through his right shoulder.

He was now suspended from the chain by both shoulders, but he wasn''t done yet. Methodically, he

    began hooking up his ribs.

The two men who hung beside him opened their eyes to watch.

"Are you crazy?" said one of the men calmly, his facepletely expresionless.

Heath sneered. "If you could understand, you would not have fallen behind me," he said.

Over a long period of time, numerous powerful and amazing talents had hung from the chain on the

cliff, but how many of them had ever truly walked out? Only a very select few. And Heath was one of

    them.

"You''re insane," said the man on his other side without inflection.

Then the two people on either side of Heath closed their eyes and continued to cultivate.

Despite the great pain he felt as he skewered his own body, Heath still maintained a clear mind. He

raised his head and stared at the words engraved on the cliff, as though imprinting them in his memory.

''I was so close. I was almost done. Will my fate be the same as that of Shipley Dongli? s!'' he

thought grimly, lost in bitter thoughts.

Finally, a long timeter, Heath closed his blood-red eyes.

Darren, on the other hand, was still where Heath had left him. He was waiting for the Rule Soul Avatar

    to awaken.

He had been waiting a long while when he realized that wisps of silvery light were flickering on the

surface of the Rule Soul Avatar''s body. The light danced across his skin like gleaming silvery snakes.

Darren observed the light, but nothing else happened. He waited for five more days.

During this time, the Rule Soul Avatar sometimes twitched and grimaced, as though he was in pain.

But whatever was happening did not seem fatal, so Darren decided not to wake him up.

On the sixth day, the iron chain that prated the heart of the Rule Soul Avatar began to shake. The

heavy chain links ttered against each other, and the wisps of silvery radiance brightened and shot

into the heart of the Rule Soul Avatar.

Suddenly, the Rule Soul Avatar opened his eyes.

His eyes were fathomless silver-gray, like heavy mist over sea. If possible, his eyes looked even colder

    Content property of N?velDra/ma.Org.

    than they had been before.

Although Darren had been waiting eagerly for the Rule Soul Avatar to awaken, he was still startled.

His heart skipped a beat as he looked into those icy silver-gray eyes.

The whirlwind around the Rule Soul Avatar grew stronger, blowing with increasing violence around him.

Within minutes, the whirlwind had grown massive, spanning hundreds of kilometers around the still

form of the Rule Soul Avatar.

Most of the ascetic cultivators in ck stirred as the whirlwind grew, disturbed by the powerful winds.

They woke up from their meditation.

They didn''te to stop the Rule Soul Avatar, but quietly kept watch on him, waiting to see what had

happened to the new ascetic cultivator.

An hour passed. The whirlwind did not abate. Instead, it continued to grow, until the howling winds

    swept across the whole ind.

Only then did two cultivators fly over to the Rule Soul Avatar.

"You can''t stay here any longer," said one of them.

A stream of god''s power hit the Rule Soul Avatar, trying to pull him back from his cultivation state.

The Rule Soul Avatar regained his consciousness. His eyes cleared, the silvery pupils darkening to

their normal shade. He gazed around him with a pale face.

Instantly, the stormy whirlwind died down.

    There was a sucking sound,

as the heavy iron chain that pierced through the chest of the Rule Soul Avatar shrank back rapidly.

"Let''s go, my real body," said the Rule Soul Avatar to Darren.

It was not his style to say anything more than what was absolutely necessary.

"Let''s go," Darren said, nodding in agreement.

The two of them stood up and headed straight towards the center of the ind.

"You two must leave the cemetery," said a voice behind them. They turned. The two cultivators in ck

had followed them, and now spoke calmly but firmly to Darren and the Rule Soul Avatar.

"We will kowtow to Supreme God Braxton. Only then will we leave this ce," the Rule Soul Avatar

    said coolly.

"Please hurry up, then," said one of the cultivators. But beyond that, the two cultivators expressed no

further argument. Since they were in the supreme gods'' cemetery, it was only right to be respectful

    towards a supreme god.

At any rate, now that the ind was peaceful again, they could go back to cultivating. So the two men

in ck flew away and immersed themselves in cultivation once more.

"Have you got any inheritance?" Darren asked, using his spiritual sense, as they made their way to the

    tomb of Supreme God Braxton.

"Yes. And the level of my silvery eyes has been upgraded again," the Rule Soul Avatar said.

"Really?" Darren asked with interest. "What''s the effect of the upgrade?" Silvery eyes were already

something incredible, so how could they be upgraded even further? The news was a pleasant surprise

for Darren, who was eager to learn more.

The Rule Soul Avatar said simply, "Creation." He didn''t think he could exin it briefly, so he sent a

more detailed exnation directly to Darren''s mind.

Darren received the message. Once he had read and understood it, he was overjoyed.

The silvery eyes of the Rule Soul Avatar seemed to have obtained the inheritance of Supreme God

Braxton. Their level had risen again. Before this upgrade, the Rule Soul Avatar had already been able

to assimtews—now, however, he also had the ability to createws of his own.

It was unbelievable how powerful he had be.

All creatures shared a general understanding thatws had evolved in heaven and earth on their own.

No one had heard of any creature that could createws.

Darren found the Rule Soul Avatar''s revtion exhrating, but also shocking and even slightly

    terrifying.

From now on, the Rule Soul Avatar could create anyw that he wanted. It was an awesome and

    fearsome ability.

Of course, the creation process was not all that simple. The creation of anyw would be an extremely

huge project, requiring intense focus and perfect precision. The Rule Soul Avatar would not be able to

simply create any neww without using his powerful deduction and analytic ability, in addition to his

    silvery eyes.

"My real body, I''m not the only one in the world who has silvery eyes. Another one has eyes like these

too. He obtained the inheritance of Braxton a long time ago. He is my natural enemy. Now that my

silvery eyes have evolved, I am certain he wille to try to kill me again," said the Rule Soul Avatar,

who wasmunicating with Darren through his spiritual sense.
