Chapter 984 The Fight Between Two Emperors
The two holy emperors stood opposite each other. Even the god''s soul was stirred about the prospect
of a fight between the two.
"I will kill you today, you bastard!" the old man coldly dered.
On the other side, the corners of Talon''s mouth twitched. He sneered at his opponent, "Do you really
think you have that ability?"

"I found the cave first! After you took the two Emperor Characters, you wanted to have them all for
yourself. You are just a robber! How dare you say I stole it?
I only took one for the sake of what you have once taught me. If you were anyone else, I would have
already killed you! For years, you''ve constantly tried to kill me, and I chose to evade every time. But I

If the old man wasn''t already quivering in anger before, he definitely was now.
Tens of thousands of years ago, the old man used to be a hunter who made a living out of hunting
beasts. His strength was just as powerful as a five-tribtion holy warrior.
One day, while he was hunting in the mountains, he unexpectedly came across an abandoned baby
who was in danger of being eaten by a beast.
That baby was none other than Talon. The old man initially decided to make the baby his adopted son.
However, the cloth wrapped around the baby had his family name embroidered on it, hence the old
man just took him in as his disciple instead.
When Talon grew up, he identally stumbled upon a cave full of treasures guarded by beasts. He
then went back home to inform the old man.
After several life-and-death matches, the old man was able to obtain two Emperor Characters, both of
which could be directly refined. It meant that with those, he could break through to the Emperor Realm
directly.
However, he was afraid that it would be too dangerous to refine the Emperor Character, so he put them
away.
A couple of days after securing the Emperor Characters, he found that one was missing. After an
intense questioning, he learned that it was Talon who took it.
He did not mind the theft for he had treated the young man as his own son and he was the one who
discovered the cave after all.
What angered the old man was the fact that after Talon had be powerful, he grew very cold and
bloodthirsty. He ughtered vigers left and right.
This was the real reason why the old man wanted to kill Talon, not because he had refined an Emperor
Character.
But his persistence did not work. Talon had almost beat the old man to death once. The old man then
refined the other Emperor Character. He decided that he wanted to kill Talon.
However, these two Emperor Characters were of the same grade, meaning neither could kill the other.
Hence, Talon just chose to leave and established the Dark Tribe.
Over the years, the old man had tried to kill Talon several times, but to no avail. After many years, he
eventually gave up.
"Alright, you smug little bastard. I saved your life and raised you. Now it''s time for me to take back your
life! This is for the innocent vigers you''ve killed!"
The old man''s robe zed with the Primitive Fighting Force.
A crack appeared and caused a horrible storm. Darkness started to spread.
"Die!" Talon ferociously growled.
His Dark Force was amplified to the limit.
Swoosh! Swoosh! The two figures disappeared, all that was left was the sound of fierce fighting. Only
the god''s soul could see their movements.
Ruthless windstorms rose one after another, both the enormous Primitive Fighting Force and the Dark
Force raged in the darkness.
After a long while, the two reappeared.
"You don''t seem to have improved much."
Even after battling with their full strengths, they still couldn''t do anything other than mildly injure each
other.
The old man narrowed his eyes at Talon and said, "Little bastard, look at this!"
He stretched out his hand and revealed an octahedral crystal floating in his palm.
The crystal was as dark as an abyss and ck runes shed from it.
"A Dark Emperor Character!"
Talon''s face darkened.
"No! How could you have the Dark Emperor Character? It''s not possible!" Talon''s face was scrunched
up in a mixture of shock and anger. If the Dark Emperor Character had gone into the hands of the old
man, it would surely be a great threat to him.
"No, it''s not the Dark Emperor Character. It''s just a part of the Dark Force that I refined. I can absorb
the force and transform it into mine in an instant. With the Dark Force and Primitive Fighting Force in
my hands...well, you know, I can produce that powerful force," the old man revealed.
"The Shura Force! You will use the Shura Force against me!"
"That''s right."
Yahya was standing from a distance, eyelids twitching as he watched the two men talk.
"Yahya, now is your chance! The old man has a Dark Force that can be directly absorbed. I will take it
for you!"
"What? But master, didn''t you say that you wouldn''t fight him? What if you get hurt?" Yahya asked,
horrified. On one hand, obtaining the Dark Force would be incredibly good for him. But on the other
hand, if his master met his end because of this, he would have no one to rely on in the future.
His whole body tensed just thinking about the predicament he was in.
"It doesn''t matter. I''ll just wait for them to resume fighting. When they eventually get injured, I''ll spare
some of my strength to kill them."
"But master, it seems like that old man is nning to swallow the Dark Force. When that happens, not
only will the crystal be gone, but his strength will also increase exponentially," Yahya protested.

cruel disciple!" The old man remained unmoved.
"You''re too damn stubborn. You''re also a powerful holy emperor. You should know that no matter what
kind of enemy I face, I will never be afraid," Talon confidently stated.
